Hello, with the process you did, only the lights go out. In my car, TC and ABS are on. On the computer, it says front right wheel traction control and right front and rear wheel power outage. When I delete it, it works normally, but after a day it turns on again.
This video does not say HOW to splice in the new cable. And, some replacement sensors come with new female sockets to be crimped to the wire ends and installed in the connector, but there is no information about how to remove the existing female sockets from the connector.
It sounded like he said it was the connector under the hood that was bad.. Why not just omit the connector? Why do you need to replace the whole sensor?
@@toods6495 , Hi, people told me the only thing left was to change the front hubs. I had to put it in the garage as just couldnt move the nuts. they had it for 2 weeks, right hubs , sensor gaps measured and correct, another set of new sensor cables and its still showing an issue on the left front. Even the landrover specialist they called in couldn't work it out :-(
@@adrianfielder4675 I see, sorry to hear. I've replaced front wheel bearing/sensors a year ago and it was fine. Recently, I replaced the front ball joints (had to remove the hub) that's when 3 amigos appeared. I did the option B (SVS bypass) and also wired the front right sensor directly to SLABS - that didn't work. My next step is to replace the front right wheel bearing and sensor with a new one. Crossing my fingers!
The front wheel sensor wires are GREEN and the rear sensor wires are BROWN and WHITE the rest of the video is very accurate.
21 years old with 190,000 miles on our td5 disco we’ve owned from new.. never had a wheel bearing or ABS sensor fitted yet!

on my car the front abs wires are the green ones and rear brown white..... you gave me a moment Jim.

I disconnected all four wheels. I have a problem with the automatic transmission. Does it have anything to do with the td5 discovery 2 transmissions?

Hi Jim, cut the plugs out, new sensors, new shuttle valve and the icarsoft v3 C/R is still saying front sensor out put too low. any ideas please ?

@@STK34761 yes, sensor is not working due to the bolt washer, removed the washer then 3 amigos disappeared
how do you work out with wire is right or left
If you have a code reader you can cut the wires GREEN for front BROWN and WHITE for rear and check which one fails. Basically trial and error
Read the RAVE manual.
This video does not show how to get to the sensor behind the wheel.
He doesn’t do a great job with which wires are which
