👩🏻🌾 I'm 65. I have been gardening since college days, starting with some coleus in an old washtub. This whole spring/summer I'm out in my yard every day just puttering and attending to the multitude of little loving tasks. 💕☀️🌸 I've always enjoyed this, but watching you has taken it all to another level of beauty, and the rewards that come with spending time in the garden. Things have never looked lovelier out in my little piece of earth, and more importantly I have never enjoyed it more. 👩🏻🌾

Your "rabbit trail" is something i have lived by this spring and early summer. Tried my first Lemon Coral this year in a planter and love it! I've spent years not putting enough stuff in my planters and was always wondering why they were not looking full. You have taught me so much, so thank you!

Laura, I agree with you about getting rid of plants that don't work for the space. I tore out and gave away a lot this summer, bought a lot of new stuff that I never tried including stuff I never heard of. Lots of fun!!!
I just cut in my first bed around my house. It’s all shade and now I’m super excited to start the sun ones!! Love all the colors and pinks and purples in this one!!!

Although your space may be small, think how spectacular it could be. And you have dozens of Laura's projects to choose from. I have a large yard and it is expensive to maintain and impossible to do the landscaping Laura does. However, I do get inspiration garden inspiration from these videos.
Karen Ross I’m bummed they are stealing digging up my plants from my city lot. They even stole a maple tree from the ground. I will no longer plant in my front yard. So sad. My desire is gone.
I am so sorry. We don't have that issue. Right now we are dealing with a draught and a nasty groundhog that is able to scale our fencing. It seems that the two legged varmints are worse!

Love the yellow globe arborvitae, all sizes. They've been a favorite of mine and I plant them in huge concrete pots on the patio every year--can usually get two years out of them in the pots, then they go out in the landscape and I get more for the pots. They're just so formal looking and so cheerful! I love to use them for edging flowerbeds to make a soft but dramatic frame for huge white hydrangeas and buddleia. And SUCH low maintenance! They even trim well if you need to snug up the shape a tiny bit. That color is just so happy---yellow chartreuse! And the more sun, the yellower they are. And as they get bigger, they just look like big soft fluff balls! Just love them. Looks beautiful, with your purple salvia and pink butterfly bush! I can see some places you could tuck a few more of them. HAHA! Once you start...no looking back!

I just got home from work and watched your video and listened to this music and it was what I needed after today. Thank you! I love what you planted also. I have a ceded home and I want to plant something yellow against the brown. I think I just found it...
I used to have a sedum similar to the purple one you planted. Then the AT&T guy ground it into dust w/his shoes! 😢 Anyhoo, I love the color scheme of this bed. Purple is my fave color, so I use it a lot. It’s always so pretty w/the greens, yellows, blues you’ve got in there! The baby’s breath will look fantastic trailing through everything. Thanks for sharing another day in your garden!
Love the advice at the end. I’ve struggled with an inherited garden from the previous owner, and there are things there that I really dislike, but just haven’t known what to do with them. Now I know! Take them out and plant what I love!
There is Lamb’s Ear in there. I don’t like the blooms at all, and there is nothing that makes sense about where they are placed! Out they go!!

Nice video. I'd love to see more videos caring for some of the plants you installed last year. New plants are great, but visiting and doing split screen videos of a years growth would be nice and encouraging. Especially when you introduce a plant the year before it becomes available.
