It has been so cool and rainy in SW Missouri zone 6. Then WHAM! 90 degrees yesterday and today. So I am sticking to a water container today-planting a few water plants including a water lily, pitcher plant and some aquatic plants in a large bowl. The water feels great! I see Laura’s desire to finish up some last minute container planting. I love her enthusiasm and every time I watch I get motivated to do something outside. We had a wedding last weekend on our farm and I received so many complements on my gardens. I couldn’t have done it without Garden Answer. What an inspiration from Laura and Aaron and their team!

When I run drip in a pot, I use a short piece of 1/2” pvc pipe under the base of the pot to keep the line from pinching. So even as things settle, there’s no chance the tube will get pinched.
Since I've been watching Garden Answers and applying what I've learned, my landscaping has been the topic of my neighborhood. Laura , you've introduced me to so many plant varieties and techniques that, honestly I can't stop myself. I've become a plant hoarder, daily I tell myself not to plant anymore but it's become an obsession. I'm in zone 7, so the plants that thrive in my area are bound less. I made a list from each of your plant recommendations last year and I have many from my list now in my garden and planters. Thank you for the inspiration. I seldom go outside the house that I'm not stopped by a neighbor telling me my yard looks fantastic, some even ask for my help designing theirs. I watch everyday but rarely comment, everything looks so beautiful and you have so inspired me to do more in my garden. Already this year I’ve spent more time in the garden then I have in previous years. Thank you for inspiring me,I have purchased plants that I’ve never had before and I’m trying them out. I have a huge deer problem and get Discouraged when I plant some thing and the next day the leaves are all eating off of it.
Love your summer garden! I live in a country with summer and hot all year long and we sometimes need to pull out and replant because the plant always become too big and take over our small pot. Love how you incorporate a few plants together in one container so that each will wont have the chance to outgrow the other.

I watch everyday but rarely comment, everything looks so beautiful and you have so inspired me to do more in my garden. Already this year I’ve spent more time in the garden then I have in previous years. Thank you for inspiring me,I have purchased plants that I’ve never had before and I’m trying them out. I have a huge deer problem and get Discouraged when I plant some thing and the next day the leaves are all eating off of it.
I got a wild rose heuchera this year. It's looking great so far 😊

Love your summer garden! I live in a country with summer and hot all year long and we sometimes need to pull out and replant because the plant always become too big and take over our small pot. Love how you incorporate a few plants together in one container so that each will wont have the chance to outgrow the other.

I enjoyed the entire video but what stole my heart was the end when Benjamin was watering the plants. He is so sweet. Thank you for raising such a wonderful child. I used to help my Mom with chores when I was young. I remember it made me feel special, smart, trusted, and loved.

Laura has a few videos where she goes into a little more detail and shows cutting back bigger sized supertunias if you search you should be able to find them. Can attest to it working!

Love the “permission” to give petunias a haircut. Sometimes I’m hesitant to trim up my plants for fear of doing more harm than good. My leggy petunias are about to get a new lease on life! 💕
