❌ AVOID The LA ROCHE-POSAY CICAPLAST BAUME - Try This Instead

  • Avoid the reformulated La Roche-Posay Cicaplast baum B5 and try the Avene Cicalfate repairing emulsion instead. La Roche Posay Cicaplast dupe
Recently La Roche-Posay announced that they were reformulating their cult favourite moisturiser the cicaplast baume b5 and replacing it with a more matte formulation. This has left a lot of people looking for a La Roche Posay Cicaplast dupe which is close to the original formulation.
The Avene Cicalfate repairing emulsion is one f the best barrier supporting creams and works so well in your skincare routine and I think might be the drugstore dupe we are all looking for.
I would love to know what your own thoughts are when it comes to the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm reformulation so let me know in the comments below.

Cicaplast baume B5+ is the best for me. It has centella and far more spreadable than cicalfate+ (which doesn't have centella).

Hey, i recommend for you who have eczema or super dry skin that you can use Hada Labo lotion ( should beJapan verson because it have good moisture) before apply B5+. Cleanser -> hada labo lotion -> la roche posay b5+.
Make your skin moisturizer and shiny.
B5 i need a layer before hada labo: cleanser -> toner skin 1004 madagasca (control oil) -> hada labo lotion -> b5.

The Etude Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Balm has similar ingredients like panthenol and madecassoside, but it has more of a rich moisturizer texture, rather than a balm. It is about the same price, maybe a bit less for 2 ounces. Etude 5-panthensoside cica balm and 10-panthensoside cica balm (not sure what the difference is though, maybe the 10 has more cica/centella extract?) is apparently an even closer dupe, but I haven't tried those yet!

@siny3446 $15 in the US. I think some people just have sticker shock when it comes to things like lotion. I used to think $15 was excessive for skin care, but I realized the investment was well worth it. It lasts forever, too, so it averages out. My skin looks healthier than it has in years since I started using La Roche Posay, Cosrx, and Beauty of Joseon.

Never used these products prior, but I shave my beard always and recently started wearing a bike helmet which causes slight chin, neck friction. I add a few small dabs under the chin and I have absolutely no irritation what so ever anymore worked wonderful

I don't know why, but the way you talk works on my nerves. I tried hella hard to focus on what you were saying, and you are 1000000% right about the Avène Cicalfate Creme Repair. It is very very very very very very good. I got it after watching your video, and it really helped my skin barrier that got damaged horribly by tretinoin from the dermatologist. In literally few days, my skin healed very well. I've never had a moisturiser that worked so well. I have a combination to oily skin, and because of tretinoin, my skin went extremely dry, very very very irritated with lots of small pimples and skin burns. I never had my skin that bad, I think it was due to the purge or something. But the Cicalfate from Avène seriously helped me a lot, Alhamdoulillah. So thank you very much. First, I discovered the La Roche Posay on TH-cam, but some more digging, and I found your video and went instead with the Avène Cicalfate creme repair. Therefore, thank you very much, sir.

@MadAboutSkin Sorry about me saying something about the way you talk. I'm more into manly men voices and mannerisms, but your info is great clearly. Because of your advice, my skin is a billion times better in just a few days. That Avène Cicalfate repair creme is no joke, and I'm going to order a lot more. It doesn't work as a hand creme. I tried it because of my dry hands during the winter months. But it works amazingly for the face. When you the skin barrier is very very damaged, stop using everything else and after washing the face with a gentle cleanser use the Cicalfate repair cream from Avène every morning and every evening and in just very few days the face skin will look waaaaaaaaay better. It did wonders for me. I still can't believe how good my skin looks compared to just a few days ago. It is not even a week I've been using the Cicalfate and sorry to be repetitive but works wonderfully. Thanks to Allah, through you, I've found the best moisturizer for me. So thank you again a billion times 🙏

Will you volunteer yourself for test then? Whining about stuff you cannot substitute yourself for. Or should they rest on humans instead? Forcing you to it? Alright let me help sign you up.

@@JAYJAY-ch4ikobviously there are other ways to go than to test on animals since many brands ate cruelty free, so, xome the f*ck on, if there is a way to do it that doesnt harm the animals, gow stupid and evil are you to not do that ?????..
