    Story :-
Collin’s father had been abusive and many times, he was forced to sleep out in the cold with his mother waiting for his father to have mercy on them and allow them back in the house.
There was nothing that his mother had done, none that he could think of, and when the fights escalated, his father brought in his mistress and kicked them out. He had his reasons though none of it was enough to watch his blood go, still, he did. Life was good in the first years with his new woman. It made Collin and his mother burst out in sadness but as time went by, hope beckoned and they braved on.
Despite the many struggles, Collin emerged as the top student but then his mother didn’t have enough money to send him to college fortune knocked on their door and he was awarded a scholarship for his college degree. He grabbed it and that marked a new beginning in his life.
He became an engineer and started his own company. He also gave his mother the life she had always dreamt of and just then, his father heard about his wealthy son and came looking for him. James had spent every single cent on his mistress and when he became broke he decided to come back to his family which could not take him back. Friends persuaded Collin and somehow he softened his heart and let him in but what happened after made him regret ever allowing him back into his life.
James went back to being the same ruthless man and would ask Collin for money every day. He was wicked and wanted to see his son suffer. When Collin refused to send him more money, he forged documents and sold his house not knowing he was being played by Collin’s best friend. Due to his greed, he ended up in jail and Collin refused to bail him out!

I'm curious about who this mysterious Robin is.
He knows too much. And he pulls so many hidden strings to make the story work out.
He shows up at just the right moment to push OP to engineering school, then he just happens to be attending the same school. He encourages OP to resume contact with his father, who promptly starts demanding money. He arranges the secret sale and fraudulent papers. And he only encourages the re-connection after he knew that OP had a good job, which would mean he had money for the father. How would the father even know that OP had graduated, found a good job, and had money to be taken?
Worse, the people who "bought" OP's house paid the father a lot of money. Where did that money come from? Did Robin give it? Did the buyers have a fortune so they wouldn't miss the money lost in the fraudulent sale? Why weren't these buyers suing the father for the money they paid for the house, when they only got fraudulent papers?
    It's just strange.
And if I were OP, I'd be cautious about trusting Robin too much. His role in both reconnecting OP with his father who promptly started demanding money, and in arranging the fraudulent sale, is suspicious.

He respects his mother more for choosing the peaceful way. AKA, just letting her husband get away with it instead of claiming the alimony and child support she is entitled to. Grandpa is shocked that his son, who spent his life treating other people like sh!t, treated him like sh!t.
OP is a terrible judge of character. His mother is a fool, and his grandfather is definitely NOT a great man. And then, just as icing on the cake, OP allows his father to push him around AGAIN! When he visits you at work, you have him thrown out. It's not that difficult. Note that the moment the authorities actually got involved it was over in a few days.

I know why they are with these geriatric Don Juan’s. The women get a stable future with someone who makes a lot more money breathing in and out than most Filipinos, the DJs get female companionship and someone to look after them when they get older.
