I just love the concept of the finals and how it's a game show/team deathmatch/heist situation
Im glad tip #15 is getting out there. So many randoms while playing solo just dont get that concept and fight me on it. We will hang back and fight teams that are approaching the cashout and run when the defending team tries to fight us.
This game is so sad to play solo. I always loose games because my teammates don't think about this kind of strategies to stay calm and don't go grabbing boxes and going for the cashout 100% of the time. Elo hell is so frustrating.
You say elo hell but i keep getting matched up with the top #10 leaderboard platinum folks like Kjewls as a Gold 4. We just get stomped cause of course they know what is up. Unfortunately we just dont have a third we can always play with. ROUGH TIMES @@leopoldostanula4

Thank you so much for talking about the last few tips... so many times when playing solo our spot in the next round is gauranteed yet my team still thinks it's a good idea to go fight and pontentially get team wipped no many how many times I told them not to go.

I’ve been looking for a new shooter to grind and I’ve been hooked on this game, but the cherry on top is that you’re making great content for it! I love how tactical this game is compared to every other FPS.
You have destruction that isn't there just for cool effects, but it's literally effective with the objectives.
Then you're also playing 4d chess with your placement levels via tip 15, you don't need to "win", you just need to "qualify".

I was hesitant on playing this game at first because it didn't appeal to me but after playing it i can see why apex players are making the switch. Its both competitive and highly fun for casuals W Merchant.

For the zip line u can also break it from the bottom by hitting the little metal piece at the bottom

If you change your colour blind settings, how are you going to call out the teams? Wouldn’t keeping it default for faster call-outs be better?
This is why i keep it on default lol
I just dont know why purple and pink are the default colors,those two always confuse me.Would be nice if the default would be a light green or something like that.

Yeah shake your head "no" or nod to respond to what's been said, that's how I communicate in games when my teammates are spectating me. It can be helpful unless you communicate verbally, I usually don't, not with randoms
Why bro, i feel theres a need to use the mic in this game. So many times i play with people that have a mic but just dont use it during the game

@5:32 how come i could see when players are carrying the box to the obj thru walls and buildings and across the map? Do u have to be still when holding on to the box or something?
I will occasionally ping for a short time during which every one can see it, or at least i think that is how it works

It does increase time required to complete the cashout. Except you throw it in during the last overtime

Fun fact: Alot of Cashouts are placed against walls. What you can do is wait for the last moment for stealing as a sledge heavy, use light attack to pop a small chunk of wall near the floor a stand next to the hole and steal through it. For extra security you can have your team through smokes, flashbangs or simply themselves to buy time for the steal because once it's done it's yours.
I've used those vents to run away from Heavies way too many times 😭
ON tip number 4: Plant pot is actually the worst things you can put it on as it breaks on contact with the ground. Any other prop though that doesn't break and this tip is great
Number 5 was my favorite
i use the c4s on the toxic thing and its so powerfull sometimes a double kill with this
I hope the add custom gamemode so I can learn spot and strats on the map more easily

One time I was falling off the side of the map n had my turret ability out. I deployed it n it was like a seat n kept me from falling
I really wouldn’t recommend the C4 on barrel tech… it’s straight up broken and probably a glitch that’s gonna get patched
As a light (or any class for the matter) it feels terrible fighting against it because there’s just no counter except from breaking it while it’s in their hands if you see them before they throw it at you. It makes the experience miserable because there’s no skill involved, I once got one shot through another floor of a building and that shouldn’t be a thing
Actually damage passes through walls, like explosions and fire, so not a glitch, as a light just stay mobile. I main light, I understand the consequence is low health, so dying doesn't phase me much since I know I'm weaker.
God i hope they will alow us to custom change colours, because i'm colorblind and i can't understand which team is which. And those preset options doesn't help
For #2 bro really said the best counter to the stun gun is to have hip-fire strong weapons. Heavies and melee classes can just kill themselves then.

This game has been a lot of fun but ffs man, it has a lot of bugs which really destroyed my games.
One time I couldn't shoot, use items, abilities for no reason so I couldn't defend the cashout.
Another time I shot a stun gun at point blank range on a Heavy and somehow that didn't stop them stealing my cashout.
On a tournament game the game won't let me revive my teammates for no reason, the game wouldn't show the "E" prompt on everything.
I shot a guy on their body on my screen but I dealt no damage and apparently according to my friend, on his screen I was shooting above the guy's head.
I THink a good portion of these tips are play style based, a lot of decent starter tips but gatekeeping shouldn’t be necessary for wins, same with exploiting the map. If all of the “best players in the world” are all playing the exact same we lose the personality that comes with each character/loadout. I feel like a big portion of THE FINALS TH-cam right now is just filled with people trying to convince me that these play styles need to be bread and butter, to be clear this video is perfect for new and already vet players. I just think it might be a little meta molding is all!
There's too many variables in this game for a specific meta to come out, plus damn near everything is destructible, these are just tips.

never understood why you would bother to start a game, que up for a match and then just not play the game. had one game with randoms where a heavy just spent the entire game using a sledge hammer to break every wall in a casino until the whole building fell down. threw fire grenades at him.

I had this same thing happen to me then the dude quit cause he got merked and we were losing until me and my teammate clutched the steal to win lol
for the tip about dealing with stungun, I think it's important to note that you actually can't access your reserve loadout options in the middle of a ranked tournament
I really don't know why, like why even have the reserve section if you can't use it in ranked? just make it so you can change to anything you want in pubs and remove the feature in ranked
I am color blind so I always have tritanopia on in every game so yes

Whats the cause for the crashes? One of my friend also crashes rather often while I havent crashed a single time yet after many hours of playing.
thats an issue with your pc likely because neither I nor my friend group ever experience crashing
Literally found a fix, had to launch with direct x 11. Launch option -d3d11
could be a update/driver issue
I have a good graphics card and was experiencing big random frame drops still and found out the game is very cpu heavy, try messing with vsync/nvidia boost until you find what helps

3:22 thank you for spreading the misinformation that you become completely invisible if you stop moving. It's gonna making beaming lights out of cloak a lot easier
It depends on the area, in a dimly lit room or a night map, you are practically invisible if you stand still, I have seen entire teams pass in front of me without realizing my presence
@anthony-uh7wn in my experience, I see cloak lights all the time who sit in a corner who think they're invisible and they get beamed for it. Maybe it just me, and my experience playing halo and dealing with its active camo, has trained my eyes to be good at seeing that sorta stuff, but then my other friends who also played a lot of halo and had the same experience have difficulty seeing them, idk at this point

What do you do if the other two teammates are completely useless? Got a game today where I had the second most kills in the game and second most damage, but my teammates were doing a minecraft let’s play on the other side of the world (they got a grand total of one kill and less than 600 damage) 😂 I was not the happiest lol

But more seriously, they were probably experimenting with the destruction, which isn't their fault because the devs haven't included a practice mode for the maps themselves so the only place we can do it is in a live game.
