Man I started playing the finals only 2 days ago, I went into it blind and just randomly chose heavy and stuck to it. I had the exact loadout as you expect i had mines instead of c4 and shield instead of charge cuz I thought the charge was trash. Until i searched for a heavy build on youtube and your video popped up first. The game was already so fun, but thanks to you it made it even more fun by showing how to properly play heavy. I now know how to utilize all the equipped abilities in my loadout and it led to some hilarious ass moments like charging the person trying to steal the cashout last second and throwing them off the map. Getting triple kills with nukes and rpgs. Slamming down on the cashout all the way from heaven. Sticking c4s in people's faces and then jumping off the roof while you watch them get annihilated. Bringing down buildings or this one time I was jumping from a jump pad to another, saw three people bunched up, got my rpg out and shot it, killed two and finished off the last with lewis as i landed, just like 4:07 . I was laughing my ass off after all these encounters and this all happened yesterday and today. Heavy class is pure chaos and destruction and I'm loving it. It always feels like a movie when playing heavy. Truly the most fun I've had with a game ever. Thanks so much for the tips & clips brother 👌🔥 keep up the great content
It be lonely out here as a heavy main. Teammates just wanna play light and run off into the horizon, get 10 kills (that all get revived near instantly) and 15 deaths, then yell into the mic that I'm the reason we're losing when I got 5 kills, 2 deaths and 10 revives.
One weapon i love is the grenade launcher. It has huge burst and aoe potential, area denial, and there is a lot of tech with shooting shielding shooting. Tho it takes a while to get good at and its vulnerable in up fights. Close up you basically gotta shoot straight down to make yourself space while alternating with shields.
Point 1: I use the Lewis Gun because I like to engage in longer range fights. Point 2: I use the shoulder charge because I like to get right up into the mayhem.
Yes, I get to engage with all ranges of engagements. The point was that I have some level of effectiveness with the lewis and the charge. If you have the aim for it, the lewis gun is fantastic even in close range fights, and it's even better now that the shotgun got nerfed
Dont sleep on the grenade launcher if you have coms and good teammates it is one of the best weapons Edit. If anyone wants to use it or get better with it lmk I can try to help. Ima diamond player who mains the weapon on heavy and I usually play heavy lol
I want to use the hammer so bad but if the players your fighting aren’t garbage it’s very hard to make use out of it especially if your team doesn’t stick together aka solo queuing
yeah I had the same experience on my own, I started on the m60, it felt pretty nice i can't lie, i moved to the flamethrower which went great for 1 game then i just couldn't get a lot of value out of it, then i moved to the shotgun which RIPS in any 1v1, big fan, and then got the lewis gun which just feels like the m60 but less jumpy and sadly with less bullets per mag. the mgl just seems kind of useless to be honest. rpg7 been great since the start, dome bubble is a no brainer, i liked using the shield ability before that but now i cant live without the mobility of charge n slam and c4 just makes sense if youre not running sledgehammer to make the objective your own territory
So a class that has a charge, a large rectangular shield, a hammer, lots of health, a large hitbox and a strong aoe ranged projectile on a cooldown. Where have i seen this before?
call me a heretic but as much as I love the beam-ability of the Lewis, that Horizontal Drift fucks me up so hard. I'm trying to stick with the M60 much more, considering the Shotty getting nerfed recently, I'm having it more for Close-Mid Range engagements. Having the Sledge as a reserve instead cuz "Big Stick go Bonk"
Nothing is particularly a bad option. Although if you're worried about the horizontal kick, the M60 has even MORE than the Lewis gun. Feels like they nerfed it to the point of not really being viable
5:14 bro I thought my wifi went out, is skipped back the video to keep watching and it froze…. Then I heard the windows, paused the video, checked my laptop, and then I skipped back, played the video, DAMM I’m panting even while typing this is tiring, to FINALLY figure out your game crashed 😅…
Seem the flamethrower is underrated dramatically! clearing toxic gas and leaving DOT on people who die even after you got jumped, plus the range of its AOE is Toxic in the right hands. No to mention blinding people while you burn them lol.
Like I said in the video, you can make other weapons work for sure. The flamethrower has its place in certain situations. The problem is that when you go up against a competent team that can aim, it usually falls short of keeping up with the DPS from the shotgun or lewis gun. I will very rarely lose a fight to a heavy vs heavy where the other guy is on flamethrower because I simply put out more DPS with headshots. That's why I recommended the other 2 guns
If the heavy knows how to move because the flamethrower does not require special aiming, he would always win, with in his range of course. It's hard to aim at a flamethrower when your blinded by fire, but you can win if they are unskilled and just stand still then yah you will out dps a flamethrower.@@Wu1fTV
Great guide! You giving in-game examples of EACH weapon/ability and how it's (optimally) used, and not some random clips, is refreshing and helpful.
Definitely the best guide out there that’s just straight to the point for anyone new or competitive can understand nice work
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed! (like the frost pic btw)
its always the small channels that have godtier videos🔥🔥
Appreciate the support, just trying to make good content for people to enjoy

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video! It's been pretty great hearing about how many people I've turned into absolute demons on the class
I am bamboozled how this doesnt have more views. The effort put into this vid is outstanding!
Hey, I appreciate the support! 1 step at a time, I just gotta keep up the grind
@@Wu1fTV you and me both, brother
Amazing video! No long intro, no rambling, and clips to back up what you are saying. You just earned a subscriber;)
Appreciate it!

BRO thank u so much i watched a guide without sleeping and learned smthing so ty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gameplay examples > talking for 20 minutes
We are kindred spirits, cackling at anyone foolish enough to go for the objective when our C4 is waiting
They nerfed the c4 and frags from season 1 so it's not the same anymore the c4 radius is so small
This game absolutely demands that you play with friends. Otherwise playing heavy is truly miserable
Started playing today after watching this video and the Aim training one. Thank you for the videos and efforts
Glad you found it helpful!
Ur killing it, love the work !
Appreciate it! Keeping on the grind!
Okay but the flamethrower also goes CRAZYYYY
It definitely can in some scenarios
Great video man! Super useful for people wanting to play this loadout!
Appreciate it!
oh man another heavy guide he definitely just uses mesh shield
“i personally use shoulder charge”
a man after my heart

Good video, I'll surely try it next time I play
Bro's evil laugh is contagious 😂
5:07 Only bit that was missing was the Window XP error sound effect. Or the South Park "Fucking Windows 98" at the end of that clip.
great video hope you do a video with some unconventional heavy builds like flamethrower or hammer
Point 1: I use the Lewis Gun because I like to engage in longer range fights.
Point 2: I use the shoulder charge because I like to get right up into the mayhem.

The barricades have more utility than the bubble shield.
You make heavy look easy. I always get melted by lights with subs or throwing knives before I can react
I want to use the hammer so bad but if the players your fighting aren’t garbage it’s very hard to make use out of it especially if your team doesn’t stick together aka solo queuing
Agreed, it can be fun to use but it's just simply not viable against a good team
These tips are so helpful thanks for the advice!
I just find it hilarious how u can charge ur own teammate😂
*(For my Melee Heavy enjoying chads, the most successful build i can find is: Charge, Hammer, C4, RPG, Mines)*
I'm having a real hard time beaming with the lewis gun tbh.
Fair, it's not for everyone

Agreed 100%, I gave all the other weapons a fair chance but shotgun and lewis gun feel like the only viable options
mgl isnt useless u have to use it diffrently is all
Hammer heavy
Like number 666, and a new sub cuz this was actually really fun to watch
Appreciate it!
Shotgun already perfect unfortunately it was my favorite
So a class that has a charge, a large rectangular shield, a hammer, lots of health, a large hitbox and a strong aoe ranged projectile on a cooldown. Where have i seen this before?
I guess you could say it's... OVER-used
80% of my kills are with c4 on throwables. Its just too effective and far too satisfying, especially triple kills and up
Not to mention HILARIOUS
Another important aspect of the heavy class: if your teammates are dogshit, just make them constantly heal you while you do all the work
Pocket healers are never a bad thing
I like to melee with my flamethrower super effective
Okay but what if I MUST use hammer
While the charge and slam is more fun. I find the shield to be much more effective.
It is technically more effective but the charge is 150% more fun. Especially after the nerfs yesterday
Make a video with heavy using the grenade launcher. It's better than you would think
I thoughht my PC crashed when his game did
call me a heretic but as much as I love the beam-ability of the Lewis, that Horizontal Drift fucks me up so hard.

For the C4, why don’t you use the explosive mine instead? Just curious
Strapping c4 to throwable objects and throwing it at an enemy team results in either a lot of damage or kills
Solid tips video, but not the last guide.
Welcome to TH-cam, enjoy your stay
nerfed to the ground 😔
wondering how you cancel mid-charge
Press the charge button again (very inconsistent, works like 50% of the time)
With what button do you stop the charge (slam) from the Q ? I always run of the map 😂
You stop the charge with the same button that you start it with. Mine is bound to my mouse so whatever it's bound to for you is what you'd press
@wu1ftv ah good to know thank you
@@La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo-Cipher 👍
What about know after the patch?
Build still good
Did something from this build get nerfed?
ya but the build remains the same
What about the goo gun thingy
it's not great
What about goo
I may be wrong, but it looks like he is using an aim assist 😅
Tis pure mnk
melee better
Agree to disagree, it fails in most situations against people who can aim
@@Wu1fTV and those who can move properly also
Cool just wish the tank was a tank heavy get destroyed by lights an mediums yu cant do anything against good teams it's better to not bring a. Heavy
No love for wackus bonkus 🥹 not even if we coordinate REEEEEEEAAALLY well? 🤣
