Sesquicentenial State Park

This video is intended to compliment the South Carolina State Parks website campground information. The information on their website about each campsite is useful in choosing a site, but their dimensions for equipment size are not always correct (especially the higher numbered sites on the inside of loop 2). I have found a ride through the sites on a bicycle to be helpful. We spent three days in Sesquicentennial State Park in early July 2017 (yes it was hot). The park was not very busy, so I had the opportunity to ride through most of the sites. The video is a little long, but I think you get a pretty good feel of what each site looks like. The sites are in order, so you can skip to the ones you want to see. I hope this helps.

Thanks so much for your video. Our daughter is in her 2nd year at USC. We are planning to attend family weekend and discovered this state park. Since there was limited info on the reservation site, TH-cam was the next route. Your video was extremely helpful to get a visual of the state park as well as an idea on the various sites. We booked a site based on your video. Greatly appreciate your time.

I haven’t been there in a while. They have been closed for renovations all this year (until very recently). I hope they didn’t change too much. Let me know if it has all changed and I will make plans to return.

Hi! Thanks for the video! We also have a daughter attending USC. This is her senior year so we're making the trip up on the 26th for one last family weekend. It's bittersweet for our time there to come to an end. We always stay at this park when we're there for a weekend but can never remember the sites we like. So thanks again for taking the time to go through all of them for the rest of us! 😊

I’ve stayed here many times over the last 9yrs and never had much of a problem. I’ve got a 40 vectra with air leveling. You do have to be carful and some sites are for small rigs but overall I’ve always found a site to park on for a few days. I enjoy visiting this area.
