Love the camper but they should really flip the kitchen to the other side. So you can have the living room sofa on the camp side. With all the windows on your camp side not your neighbors. That way when you are looking out the window it’s not creepy. Because your neighbor thinks you’re looking at them because all the windows are facing there site. Just my .2 cents…. Love the innovation, though just need to do the flip-flop.
Camp side windows.....swap the living/kitchen......no need for 2 draws next to the bed, end tables may be better. Other than that, by far the best couples TT I've seen.
We looked high and low for a couples camper and ended up with an R-Pod 192, this model could get us to upgrade, the only other ones that come close are Airstream and really thats a compliment to Brinkley.
This makes me rethink larger truck or a motorhome. I would like more options with the seating and dinette as well as a full king. I would like to know if a tempurpedic queen weight would be okay
Sooooo close to being perfect for us! I do wish, for us dog owners, they brought the couch from the 295 to this one. Maybe the table system wouldn't fit with the island? Some of us like to stretch out on a couch or sit with our dogs. And I do prefer a medicine cabinet. But otherwise, this is a brilliantly executed version of this floor plan. Brinkley really has the secret sauce for allocating the right amount of space for the bedroom and bathroom....not too big not too small.
Brinkley makes the sexiest looking rig on the market. From the squared lines and distinct angles, to the smaller 3" ceiling lights, down to the carpeted panel and lighting in the front pass though, they do things right. Brinkley makes your 4th camper the first time.
Needs to have 100 gallons of fresh water for boondocking, and at least 500 watts of solar and I would buy one. So far I haven't seen anything that beats my Outdoors RV Backcountry for boondocking. Love the floor plan and finish of this Brinkley though. It is beautiful!
I really appreciate the attention to service and prevention on this. The self leveling silicone on the roof, the lack of a skylight, the service bay and access panels. Nicely Done, Brinkley. Thanks for Sharing, Josh!
I really wish Brinkley (and other brands) would flip the black-out shades and the light filtering shades so that you can use the black-out shades for partial privacy but still have some light coming in the RV through the top of the window; like a transom window in a home. That's my 2 cents.... but BRINKLEY IS ON FIRE with these new travel trailers! Keep up the great work Brinkley!
Great looking RV. Our concern is weight capacity. If you add a washer/dryer, personal effects and your tanks are full. It’s seems you will be maxing it out. Any option for heavier gross vehicle weight rating?
This is excellent as is. Only minor changes like not a fan of the gold fausit. Keep the queen bed. In the bathroom rather than remove the shelf under the sink how about just half way across? Great job with the ladder access on the top. In the pass through I would like to see them use the same type of rubber on the sides as they have in the floor.
I recommend they include some sort of a light strip along the upper inner edges of that fake skylight in the shower. That would at least give you some lighting while showering and the illusion of an actual skylight.
Josh, this is a beautiful trailer, but like all other Brinkley's, for the price you pay, just put in the inverter and be done with it. I could never afford one of the monsters, but even my Epro has the inverter included. I could take one of these and permanently mount it on a piece of land and live happily ever after.
I really love this one. The only thing I would change is I would put an icemaker in the fridge since it is not in a slide. You should be able to put the water connection to it I would think.
I really like what they did with this trailer. Spring coat hooks would save a shoulder/arm from being hooked when an item is removed. A trunk area above the rear hitch on the back would be a great additional feature and help balance storage. I personally think they knocked it out of the park with this design. Having a small 5th wheel in this floor plan would be a great addition to their line as well.
Beautiful! The quality construction seems to be there! One recommended change is to put power towers in the kitchen in place of the under cabinet outlets. Safer and more convenient IMO. The other change would be to change the shower to make the seat a flip down rather than a molded corner seat. Being disabled I must sit to shower and the corner seat is not large enough to feel safe. It is easy to slide on those fiberglass seats when wet. If you can't put in a flip down seat, then either eliminate it so a portable seat can be used, or build the seat out the entire depth of the stall. Also is there any way to lower the step up into the shower? Josh, thanks for all the time spent showing the features and flexibility of this rig! Another winner from Brinkley for sure!!!
Love the RV. My 2 adds are 1. For sure needs 4 steps. That first step is a doosie!! Even on flat ground those legs are maxed out. 2. Slide toppers for sure. One other thing is I miss the max air fan covers like Rockwood uses. Love the video and all the extras you provide during walk through. We appreciate you Josh!
Absolutely what Brinkley is doing. It would be cool to see them use white awning arms and put the graphics on them to keep the lines continuous. Additionally, I’d love to see a rear bed slide front kitchen model for half ton users.
At this price point you'd think Furrion Vision S Side RV Cameras would be included. Initially I thought no problem they can easily be added. Then noticed the amber marker lights are too high up, the view would be obstructed by the awning arms, looking down the side of the trailer. Simple fix would be to lower the front amber side marker lights. Better yet make is a standard feature to have rear and side cameras!
This is awesome! It’s like a 5th wheel without being a 5th wheel. So if you can’t do stairs but want the room here it is! Super excited to see what more is to come!
Thanks for another great walkthrough video Josh! I know this is a prototype, but I notice there are no opening windows on the camp side in the main living area. For those of us that plan to do a lot of boondocking, we won't be able to run the air conditioners. A good cross breeze will be important.
Being 80 inches tall, I appreciate the taller ceiling. That being said, I would like to see a king bed option. It could be possible if a bedroom closet slide was added so one wouldn’t lose so much storage space. Thanks for showing this off Josh.
This is really nice. Outside kitchen would work well on this model. You have plenty of cabinets inside to give up for a nice Outside kitchen with Hot and cold water with draining sink and large fridge. Move the gas quick connect down towards the end for the kitchen. 😊
We LOVE your extra viewpoints and how you show what access there is when the RV is in travel mode. These little special things are why YOU are the one we follow now for reviews. True Queen is a great size for this type of RV. King takes up too much room. Alas, as much as I adore this RV....travel access is really important.
Well you told me to wait for it and here it is.... Finally, a RV that has both a desk and W/D prep for us Full timers.... Definitely gonna get one of these later this year!
Love, love, love this! Brinkley rocks! Perfect size for us! I'm hoping there will be a swaption of the dining table to maybe a sleeper sofa. We would like both the theater seats and a sleeper sofa (that will get used regularly). Also, the break lights on the back...maybe run them up the sides higher? If someone is carrying something on that hitch, the lights maybe blocked. Thanks Nerd, we LOVE your videos and appreciate you! #nerdherd
Currently the only option this is just the dual paint windows but I think that they’re open to any feedback people want to hear. At the end of the day they just want to make the RV the people want the most.
Josh, I'm afraid you're going to be hearing from legal. You've got me hyperventilating into a brown paper bag. Ambulance is on the way. THIS IS IT! THIS IS IT! THIS IS IT! WOOOO HOOOO!!!!! FINALLY! Okay, EMTs gave me a shot, I'm good now. This checks ALL the boxes. Good CCC. Good solar. Good sized kitchen appliances. A desk. Washer/dryer hookup. No Shwintech or cable slides. Good quality drawers and plumbing. Just absolutely hits it out of the park. (Deep breath) The only tweak I could come up with is the battery setup. I'm going to use a couple of lithiums, so I'd like to see a lockable battery compartment. If it's big enough for 4 batteries, even better. Finally, the search is over!
Yep, ditto, this is the one that ticks the boxes we’ve been commenting on for a while now. Also agree with the comment on the battery box; let’s improve that for the final version.
I love the look of these Brinkley’s. They are definitely on my virtual list of 37 to consider. If I may offer a suggestion for manufacturers… ALL manufacturers should create and install some sort of drainage collection system that would prevent water damage. Whether it be from the shower, sink, washer or wherever there is water, if there is a leak the water would drain out to the ground and prevent water damage to the unit. Can you recommend this to the industry? I bet Brinkley can find a way to do it.
It’s trickier to make that stuff, much larger in a travel trailer because they don’t quite have the same room for the giant slide. It was like a bigger fifth wheel with a taller ceiling. Overall, I’m pretty happy with what they did here.
My wife and I like everything we have seen from Brinkley so far in their model Z fifth wheels and travel trailers we are hoping to walk through a couple of them soon including this one. The one thing that would be nice to see is maybe a fifth wheel or travel trailer around 30 feet for greater access to more camp sites. I know you mentioned the new I series coming out soon we are looking forward to seeing that. Over all this one being 34 feet long isn't a deal breaker though, we are currently pulling a 37 foot travel trailer and are looking to get down to about 30 feet. this one packs enough features in it that we may just be happy with it in the end.
Thanks Josh -- I think a King bed would make sense for the tall folks. This RV would be ideal for those over 6 feet and they'd enjoy a bit more space. Kudos to Brinkley this is gorgeous.
Uncle Josh! Okay, I have to share because, well it's funny to me. Watch the intro at .5 speed. Honestly, you sound like my drunk uncle 😂. Always love your reviews! And your humor and your energy. It's all part of why we will always watch a "Josh review" for any model RV if there is one!
So so excited!! And I LOVE that you do road mode; you’re probably the only one that does, and that’s monumentally important!! I’m waiting for interior Azdel.. I love the outside storage in the bunk model, but love the layout and the interior storage of this one.. It’ll be a Brinkley for me..
Thank you so much for presenting this to us. On Saturday I placed my order for a brand new 2024 Brinkley Z Air 285 and I am so excited. I cannot wait to get it. Delivery is estimated late May early June. Thank you, Josh for all you do. And yes, I purchased it at Bish RV. Maybe once we get it the next time you’re in Boise Idaho we would love to meet you and thank you in person for all you do.
Been waiting to see this camper and overall it is nice. I am really disappointed in the number of windows that do not open, this is a deal breaker for me.
I would like to have a sofa, maybe the whole wall size one with the removable table attachment and get rid of kitchen table or make a flip up extension for the island and use stools. When you have pets that like to sit with you, theater seats don’t cut it. I would be replacing the wall hooks with claw hooks, less likely to break. If that area is reinforced, it would be a nice place to hang pictures to make it more homey. ❤ the unit❤️
All I can say is WOWSA! They have been paying attention to all the comments and it shows. Love the queen bed, and the overall fit and finish is amazing. Clean skirting, and hidden speakers outside. Bigger over and amazing fridge inside. This thing is a PEACH! Pro Grade!
I love that dining table can fold in to another sleeping area. Now all they need to do is have an induction cook top, convection microwave and a residential reefer. That's right, no propane and beefed up solar!
Camping??? I’d be living in it more than being home! It’s huge with tons of storage!!! It’s gorgeous and very well thought out. The fireplaces could be an optional thing. I’d skip one for more storage in the bedroom.
I just inspected my first Brinkley a few weeks ago...I really liked it. You can tell they are more focused on quality than speed during manufacturing. There are some things I dislike personally, but still they are still nice units. I'd like to build a couples unit....since me and Mrs. travel together I've got some experience there.
We bought it, Josh! The shelfing in the bathroom under the sink is great, you can still fit a wastebasket on the bottom. So, edit that part. Love the fridge. A few things; need an extra bottom step coming into the trailer, a place for shoes and swifter. Ideas for us? Thinking ottoman for shoes. We have more storage than we know what to do with. We absolutely love it. 😊
This is a wonderful model. I love the locking storage spot under the bed. Such a wonderful idea. I would prefer that the counter with the tv televator higher than the kitchen counter. As is, I know that things would get spilled on the kitchen counter and flow down into the tv area. The desk with chair and ottoman available is just wonderful. If I was getting a travel trailer, this would be a contender.
Very nice! I would like a king bed option. My major dislikes are the refrigerator in the rear and the living area not on the campside. I'm hoping they will be releasing another floor plan soon that will come closer to the Z3100 floor plan.
At an estimated price of $85.000.00 I'm tapping out. Sorry, Ill stay with Grand Designs version w/ added 4 panels and 4 Lithium batteries for $40.000.00
Wow, they took the Imagine 2670MK and made it better! This one is pretty darn close to perfect. What we would do, not because there's anything wrong with it but just because we're us is use the rear desk for storage and work space and I'd set up my gaming rig under the dining table so I could sit on the built in bench there. In the space between the theater seat and the table we could put in some storage or, more likely, replace the theater seat with something wider and a lot more fluffy friendly with the middle arm rest being able to raise or lower since we'd have all the space to the end of the table - the other half would love an L couch! One suggestion I do have is to move the sink faucet to the refrigerator side of the sink so it can be used from the kitchen OR the living room. Someone could stand at the sink in the living room and do dishes while watching TV. It might also make the kitchen sink a little bit more travel accessible too. The only aesthetic complaint is that they didn't continue the paint along the sides of the slides - for that kinda money it wouldn't kill them to paint the sides of the slides. Thanks for the video, Uncle Josh, thanks for allowing the tour, Brinkley! The other half says she would graciously accept one for her birthday, thank you in advance.
Camping last week, we had one of the large Brinkley 5th wheel park two sites down. Mammoth! Absolutely beautiful. Definitely the upper end of TT (if you want to pay the price) and if that's your type of camping, or should I say glamping! . Very impressive Josh. Note: When the camper left, they spent a very Looooong time at the dump station ;) hope you feel better. stay safe
This is a gorgeous layout, the only thing I think I would get rid of the desk and maybe put the larger 4 burner stove and make the dinette a swivel desk/ bar setup. Great content as always Uncle Josh
Love it. I'm a single professional, and want to eventually snowbird, and this is perfect. Too many RV's either don't have the office space (tired of seeing dual bunk beds I'll never use), or the full stack washer/dryer options, which I want both. I will be keeping my eye on this over the next few years before I decide. And to top it off, it's Brinkley, one of the few RV makers that doesn't cheap out. I think this will be my standard and on my wish list when I eventually migrate. Please let Brinkley know this is a winner for the young couple or professional couple (dink). Or solo flyer like me.
I absolutely LOVE that they road test the prototype. I do like your idea of the spring loaded hooks. As for the bed...AWESOME storage setup. I am okay with the road mode limitation. As you said, with R&P slides you can do the 6" thing. And yes, I am "fluffy." 😂 And OMG, whole house inverter prep??!!!
You’re right, these “buckskin chairs are beautiful AND I just remodeled my home master bath with the brushed matte gold and I really like it. Thanks nerd.
I really like it. The only thing I would change is the cabinetry. I like the way they’re doing things in England and Europe. Smooth high gloss wooden surfaces on the cabinetry. It makes them extremely easy to wipe clean. These type cabinets catch dirt and dust in the corners of them. Having something that’s easy to wipe in an RV should be standard.
Love every Brinkley videos you do! In the market for one soon so super exciting to see all of the models they're dropping. The queen bed is PERFECT to maximize that bedroom walking space! Would love to see the kitchen and living room slides swapped so my windows are on my campsite not my neighbors though. And the black out shades... It would be amazing if the blackout came from the bottom and the day shade came from the top, still get privacy but possible to open a bit for airflow.

pull the blinds! I refuse to relax where people can look at me!
Don't tell the Z Air 285 that its not a 5th wheel, it'll hurt its feelings. This thing is AWE-SUM!
😆
Rather have the queen and keep that awesome closet and drawer space!
Ty!
Queen bed is perfect

if this is a couples camper do a KING BED. when I clicked on the video and saw it was a queen I instantly said dang its not a king.
Good input thank you
Do you really need a King Size? Are you that big?
My husband and I prefer a queen. But a king option would be nice.
On a serious note:
I love this.
I need a bigger truck for this.
I don't have the budget for both
I hate you.
Lol
I think they will eventually come out with a 275 that can be towed with most half ton trucks

I agree! We are a two dog family and having a swaption of a sleeper sofa instead of the dining area would be great!
@@campingdogmama THIS. Couldn’t agree more, the recliners are fine but please have a normal sofa (jackknife even better) option.

Watch for the model I series later this year if you’re seeking smaller stuff
Thanks Josh -- I think a King bed would make sense for the tall folks. This RV would be ideal for those over 6 feet and they'd enjoy a bit more space. Kudos to Brinkley this is gorgeous.
The queen bed is the same length as the queen btw
@@JoshtheRVNerd True but a king lets a couple stretch out in all directions more than a queen.
What a beautiful beautiful rig
Got that right!
Uncle Josh! Okay, I have to share because, well it's funny to me. Watch the intro at .5 speed. Honestly, you sound like my drunk uncle 😂.
Always love your reviews! And your humor and your energy. It's all part of why we will always watch a "Josh review" for any model RV if there is one!
Now I gotta try it..
I love it!! I would opt for the King bed, as we have a small dog that travels with us, and sleeps with us.
Good to know. Ty
Same
Another hit out of the ballpark for Brinkley …homerun ….amazing trailer ☺️
Thank you for these kind words.
Awesome thank you so much
I love what Brinkley does over all, fantastic. Two ideas; someplace to put drinks when sitting in the recliners. And slide toppers standard.
In Some regions slide awnings aren’t a good idea so I am glad they’re not forced
But drink holders would be nice
What are slide toppers?
So so excited!! And I LOVE that you do road mode; you’re probably the only one that does, and that’s monumentally important!! I’m waiting for interior Azdel.. I love the outside storage in the bunk model, but love the layout and the interior storage of this one.. It’ll be a Brinkley for me..
Great input. Ty
They don’t have interior azdel?
Love this one for sure. One change I would like to see is the pantry by the fridge being one of Brinkleys famous pull out pantries.
That would be cool!
I'll drop notes here on the channel next time I'm traveling around!
Been waiting to see this camper and overall it is nice. I am really disappointed in the number of windows that do not open, this is a deal breaker for me.
I'm disappointed about so few opening windows too. The camp side windows need to be able to be opened.
Good point with the windows
Awesome. Attention to detail is in a whole different league!
It really is
I would like to have a sofa, maybe the whole wall size one with the removable table attachment and get rid of kitchen table or make a flip up extension for the island and use stools. When you have pets that like to sit with you, theater seats don’t cut it.
I would be replacing the wall hooks with claw hooks, less likely to break. If that area is reinforced, it would be a nice place to hang pictures to make it more homey.
❤ the unit❤️
Super slide super sofas are pretty cool!
Definitely sofa for me too! At least have it as an option for those the like the recliners
All I can say is WOWSA! They have been paying attention to all the comments and it shows. Love the queen bed, and the overall fit and finish is amazing. Clean skirting, and hidden speakers outside. Bigger over and amazing fridge inside. This thing is a PEACH! Pro Grade!
We agree!
I’m really digging the Brinkley’s. They actually seem like quality, well thought out units.
I’m in pretty much all of the owners groups, and people seem to be really happy with them
I love that dining table can fold in to another sleeping area. Now all they need to do is have an induction cook top, convection microwave and a residential reefer. That's right, no propane and beefed up solar!
Awesome. Not sure I want one over 30' And I would have to compare it in person with GD LDE which is my fave.
Watch for the Model I series
Awesome. I saw this on their website 2 days ago, came to TH-cam and there were zero videos on it. You rock Uncle Josh!
I try!
Thanks Josh! I appreciate you doing it too
Nice couples camper!! Thanks Brinkley!! 🫶🏻👍🏻
👍🏻
Camping??? I’d be living in it more than being home! It’s huge with tons of storage!!! It’s gorgeous and very well thought out. The fireplaces could be an optional thing. I’d skip one for more storage in the bedroom.
Yeah, it’s definitely passing camping. Closer to Glamping for sure.
The fireplace in the bedroom is 🔥!
This is Hotter than a firecracker in July! Thanks Josh!
😆 facts!!
I just inspected my first Brinkley a few weeks ago...I really liked it. You can tell they are more focused on quality than speed during manufacturing. There are some things I dislike personally, but still they are still nice units. I'd like to build a couples unit....since me and Mrs. travel together I've got some experience there.
That’s really awesome. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Brinkley needs to make a 26ft trailer that a half ton could tow.this one too big nerds a 250 or bigger to tow it..
That’ll be the model I series I mention at the end of the video
My only complaint is I’d like to see more brake lights located midway up. Visibility is key with distracted drivers.
That’s fair I meant to mention that
My favorite by far. As a campground host I'd love to have one on display
Really flexing on the guests 😆
We bought it, Josh! The shelfing in the bathroom under the sink is great, you can still fit a wastebasket on the bottom. So, edit that part. Love the fridge. A few things; need an extra bottom step coming into the trailer, a place for shoes and swifter. Ideas for us? Thinking ottoman for shoes. We have more storage than we know what to do with. We absolutely love it. 😊
That is awesome! Congrats!
I’ve seen some people bring a little box they use as a first step
It was due to the sloping of the site. My husband is going to get a block of woof. TY
Thx so much for watching and sharing!
Beautiful travel trailer, and it definitely exudes Brinkley quality complete with really nice amenities. I would like to see a king bed option.
Awesome Ty!!
Very nice! I would like a king bed option. My major dislikes are the refrigerator in the rear and the living area not on the campside. I'm hoping they will be releasing another floor plan soon that will come closer to the Z3100 floor plan.
I’m sure something like that is in the works
At an estimated price of $85.000.00 I'm tapping out. Sorry, Ill stay with Grand Designs version w/ added 4 panels and 4 Lithium batteries for $40.000.00
Which Grand Design is that?
FINALLY someone figured out where the TV belongs!!!!!
Her generosity knows no limits
Camping last week, we had one of the large Brinkley 5th wheel park two sites down. Mammoth! Absolutely beautiful. Definitely the upper end of TT (if you want to pay the price) and if that's your type of camping, or should I say glamping! . Very impressive Josh. Note: When the camper left, they spent a very Looooong time at the dump station ;)
hope you feel better. stay safe
You be safe as well. Ty
This is a gorgeous layout, the only thing I think I would get rid of the desk and maybe put the larger 4 burner stove and make the dinette a swivel desk/ bar setup. Great content as always Uncle Josh
Ty Brian!!
It’s good for sure
Beautiful! -And that Brinkley ain't half bad either. 🤪
Hahaha
Love this trailer !!! Needs a king bed option.
Also towing with a travel trailer is completely legal in Saskatchewan, Canada 🇨🇦 . I know crazy !
It seems to be legal in the place of were very few people live I’ve noticed
@@JoshtheRVNerd flat lands and high winds, all we got going on here, no hills, mountains or interstates.
Yep. Add an inverter for all outlets!
Needs at least a 3000 watt inverter, not just a prep
Thanks for another great walk through, nice TT. I would love the fireplace in our Z2900 and no regrets on choosing it and can't wait for #3000.
You’re right, these “buckskin chairs are beautiful AND I just remodeled my home master bath with the brushed matte gold and I really like it. Thanks nerd.
That is awesome!
Fair feedback. Ty
Very nice inside and out. Plenty of room, cabinets for storage. Shower could be wider, with seat. What I see a great Trailer. Thanks for sharing.
Right on! Thank you for watching!
Ladder transition...smart!
Agreed. More brands need to take note
Congratulations on the world premiere. I hope they make a micro someday
I’m sure it’ll happen in time
Definitely would love this with a King bed … something bigger than a standard Queen.
Ty
Love every Brinkley videos you do! In the market for one soon so super exciting to see all of the models they're dropping. The queen bed is PERFECT to maximize that bedroom walking space! Would love to see the kitchen and living room slides swapped so my windows are on my campsite not my neighbors though. And the black out shades... It would be amazing if the blackout came from the bottom and the day shade came from the top, still get privacy but possible to open a bit for airflow.
Lot of folks seeking the slide swap. I'll be a bit surprised if they don't have a 2nd version of this thing sometime
We love that trailer floor plan but the wife keep everything but make it a king bed and she wants one badly . LoL I'M excited for the I series.
I am guessing kind beds will be available in bed slide models
