I am so glad you got to Sohyang's Bridge Over Troubled Water. This is the performance that introduced me to her 4+ years ago. This performance struck me so hard emotionally and I have yet recovered fully. I've literally watched this performance hundreds of times through my personal viewing and reaction videos. And today it stills drew tears from me. Sohyang is a special singer, more than her amazing vocal skills, but the spirit and soul the audience can feel through her divine voice. You are spotted on that Sohyang sings with everything she had on this stage. I saw the original show of this performance and you can see her exhausted in the backstage with her hands shaking. You are also correct that Sohyang is very selective with the songs she would perform, for the kind of message she is willing to carry. Her performance means far more than an act to entertain. Sohyang participated in a number of Korean singing shows, including King of Masked Singer in 2018, reigning the throne 6 times in 9 performances while wearing a mask, singing different genres including pop, ballad, rock, inspirational, and even rap. This year Sohyang joined the program "Begin Again" with a group of artists doing busking sessions around South Korea, offering some joy for people during this period of pandemic. However, beware that the broadcast stations (MBC, JBTC) are very strict on copyright claims. In any case, there are many performance from Sohyang to enjoy, even if not for reactions. Best wishes.

As others mentioned she's currently performing weekly on "Begin Again Korea" as soloist, in duets, trios and ensembles outdoors with minimal accompaniment - where the group must succeed on voice alone - and do. Her top solos and duets so far include "I Will Always Love You" best cover ever, "I'll Be There", "I Won't Give Up", "Never Enough", "제발 (Please)" very emotional, "첫눈처럼 너에게 가겠다 (Will Go to You Like First Snow)", and "Misty" in style of Ella Fitzgerald. She amazes the well known younger singers performing with her.

One of the best indeed. I always love your reaction, I noticed how you get little bit more open to her now, by your expression, your research, your deeper analysis. Well That's obvious, because she made it. All she said about helping and comforting people with her voice was not a clisé wishful thinking that all other singers often to said infrot of camera. She had an interview by a Turkish vocal coach, in her school. when asked about her range, she was not sure, and when her family said D7, he was shocked, and she said she never tried, and I assumed she meant she never worried about it... and she said... "It doesn't matter". This woman just likes to sing, and how high she sings, she does, and never worries about it but she does know its a D7.

I don’t know. I think it’s her heart is technically, I don’t think that it’s her best technical performance. It’s the same level of flawlessness as her other performances. Just because she ran the risk of blowing her voice out[Thank God she didn’t!] by belting so much does not mean that it was the best. It’s just another great performance to me.
Please don't cut the clip. I understand you're avoiding copyright issues but the pausing of the video for commentary should be enough without having to skip the video/audio when we're watching which to me is very distracting and doesn't give the viewer the pleasure of a full music performance while playing. My two cents for better viewing experience.
What most people don't realize is that the way the TH-cam algorithm works is that if there is a 25-30 second section of the original song anywhere on the reaction it will be blocked or flagged. So, just pausing doesn't work unless you're pausing before 30 seconds passes. Thanks for your patience. Next time I'll use the skip ahead option without cutting in between moments. Still figuring this out.

Reputable musicians from South Korea travel overseas, to places where no one knows anything about them, and hold busking events. They would introduce themselves to the people in other countries through their performances.
For Season 4 (Begin Again Korea), different from the previous 3 seasons, the cast members travel around South Korea to conduct Social Distancing Busking. The main purpose is to present music as a gift, to console the Korean citizens who have went through difficult times due to the current COVID-19 pandemic

I don’t know. I think it’s her heart is technically, I don’t think that it’s her best technical performance. It’s the same level of flawlessness as her other performances. Just because she ran the risk of blowing her voice out[Thank God she didn’t!] by belting so much does not mean that it was the best. It’s just another great performance to me.

Please don't cut the clip. If you pause, rewind and talk should be okay for KBS, but cutting really spoils it in my opinion.I assume you are using the VIMEO clip and not TH-cam, if not use VIMEO, it gets through easier.

Thanks for the nice reaction on Sohyang. I understand you're avoiding copyright issues but the pausing of the video for commentary should be enough without having to skip the video/audio when we're watching which to me is very distracting and doesn't give the viewer the pleasure of a full music performance while playing. My two cents for better viewing experience.
What most people don't realize is that the way the TH-cam algorithm works is that if there is a 25-30 second section of the original song anywhere on the reaction it will be blocked or flagged. So, just pausing doesn't work unless you're pausing before 30 seconds passes. Thanks for your patience. Next time I'll use the skip ahead option without cutting in between moments. Still figuring this out.
