The Gen 2 Ares in Bohler K329 has proven to be an absolute beast of a blade. It can do everything the SK85 version does and more. And rip through cars like a Tyrannosaurus in the process!
This made my day so much better, I've been sick with the flu for a week or more now. Stuck in the house 24/7 so I loved seeing you have so much fun with the Ares!
Yes the scales are G10 still, my preferred handle material due to its strength and it doesn't hold grime and blood like micrata does.
Yet again another El Bricko bites the dust! Love it! Love to see it every time. I designed the choiless version after your first Ares video, so you inspired me to remove the choil for those who wanted one that way. So treasure that blade my friend, you helped make it possible!

Just finished watching...WOW. Peak knife content right here! It was great seeing how much fun you had while testing this one, I really felt your excitement going through it. THE BRICK!!! Two in a row was not coincidence! Originally, it wouldn't have been my first choice by looking at it, but I admit this one is now the king. The design has now proved itself across multiple steels and configurations. I'm in awe.

This knife is insane, but it weights like an axe😂. Test also something cheaper - Eafengrow EF143. It looks like WTG Wolverine, but for quarter of price and from AUS-10 steel. You will like it.

JOE X, after all I've seen in 49 minutes, I can tell you that you should think about organizing some kind of course for "real men" where a person will suffer unbelievably by beating a piece of iron on trees, then jumping into the water, getting out of the water and beating the piece of iron on a rock again, jumping into the water again, getting out of it and beating the piece of iron on a metal pipe. Upon completion of such difficult tests (the British SAS and the American Green Berets are smoking bamboo with envy of you) the person will receive a "JOE X Certificate".

How much would it cost to send you a couple hand made mallets? Just very simple quick n easy rough ones very crude but I kinda went nuts making them testing a few blades and have about a dozen. I could send a few if it’s not too much $$.

But Joe doesnt mind sacrificing the knifes ability to do finer cutting and drilling tasks. In many situations that chisel tip will not perform at ALL. LOL but that being said . Helluva blade joe.
