Loved it so bought one. Traded my 4 month old S1000R Sport for a R Nine T Pure but missed the sports bike after 3 weeks so traded the R Nine T for the M1000R. Oh man. What a bike.
I can't make up my mind between the M1000R and the KTM 1390 SDR Evo. They're gonna cost around the same over here in Finland. I'd be mostly doing street/occasional highway/3x track days per season. And ofc there has to be the flex part, but both these bikes have it. I'm worried about the bar/peg/mirror vibrations and high speed instability that many reviewers have talked about. Did you experience that? Altough KTM has upped their game, the BMW sort of still feels more refined and I'm sure will keep it's value better after a 6y PCP. And I do love the BMW app side, KTM's app is just rubbish. But then again the new KTM has upped their endgame, has way more usable torque and overall seems like a more useable bike. Here I go again.. Which would you take home with you at the end of the day? Cheers for the lovely vid!
Hi and Thanks for an excellent video!! I wonder how it drives? I am choosing between a 1000R and 1000RR but will probably choose the 1000R because it will be almost half the insurance cost. But I'm worried if it's hard with all the wind you get because there's no windshield? It's a matter of taste, of course. But I wonder about your and others' opinion?? Thanks
I have the s1000r m package and I love it. Imo if you are not going to be tracking the bike much then I would suggest getting the s1000. If you are just looking for a daily driver it then the m1000 would just be a flex.😂 if you can afford it then I would say go for it. The wind isn’t that bad once you get used to it but you can definitely feel it.
they're nice but ride a ducati strteetfighter v4 SP that has had its power restrictions removed. much more aggressive acceleration than the m1000. in saying that I'm trading my ducati in for an M1000xr as the ducatis suspension is back breaking much harder than the m1000r. but from Doncaster not ringwood! haha

Great choice. I've given up on Doncaster even though I live in Doncaster. Melbourne BMW are fantastic. Much better service and will do better deals
Looks like a 2023?
Yeah?
Can you pull a wheelie?
