I had pretty much the same amount of chicken wings but it turned out to be quite salty. I only used one pack of the powder. I would cut even more next time but the recipe is easy.
I used the spicy bake mix powder according to its illustration on bag. It said 1 pack(28g) for 900g chicken, so I used 40g for 1.2kg, I'm agree with you that it less a little is better.
