- The difficulty in creating this video can largely be attributed to actually searching for abilities that coincide well with each other. I had originally intended for there to be less particle spectacle and more fight choreography; but sadly a majority of ability animations look quite awful slowed down and don't synchronize well (or I'm creatively void). I could have created a solo-ability montage, but I wanted to adhere to the "clash" concept.
The purpose of the letterboxing was to allow me to circumvent Gpose camera restrictions and more easily crop the video to my liking, that and I think it looks kinda cool.
Limit Break "clashes" were accomplished by replacing the Gpose "last action" offsets with CE (eg. replacing /wave ID with LB animation ID, client sided only). This may also be attainable naturally in 24-man raids... if you have 23 friends willing to help, at least.

god DAMN. This would be some QUALITY marketing footage for the game. Can you imagine if they did this during literally...any of the trailers or benchmarks????? Imagine if this was how they showcased new abilities. I'm hyped just watching this and I already play this game almost every day.

It's not an accurate or even fair representation of the game, so they don't. The CGI they do for the trailers is already extremely hard to make -- honestly, harder than this video. Let's not undervalue that, even if we think this video looks great (and it does).

jokes aside, this is probably one of the most beautiful tributes to FFXIV that i've ever seen, next to Denmo and Lycona, hands down.

My favorite thing about this is how I can't tell HOW you got some of these shots which speaks to some amazing editing and cinematography. INCREDIBLE work!! This is definitely one of my favorite FF14 videos of all time.

I'm not going to lie. This has to be one of the absolute best things I've ever seen from FFXIV, and like some of the others in the comment section have said, I play almost daily.
This music....is godly. I kinda wish it was the song of a boss fight or something (maybe it is, I don't really raid newer stuff nowadays)
This could definitely be trailer quality. The moves all work so well together, and I loved how you combined all of those limit breaks, especially the archer ones where you're shooting a large laser beam at someone else lol. Thank you for the hard work, and you've definitely earned a like!

That kinda showcase SCH as a bumbling fool tho. The scene looks like AST is actually summoning the angel and SCH's like, look, tiny winged person!
