I wanted to see how well I could do a slow-mo music vid. Annoying my Excalibooty friends and sorting through almost 1TB of video files later...

This made me realize how much of the epicness of these fights is just lost after you've done them a lot of times, especially when you see everything in slow motion like this.
Such an amazing looking game.
Not only is the editing, framing, and transitioning top-notch as always, but THE SHIELD at 4:53. Beyond perfect. Well done, sir.

One of the main reason's I keep playing this game is because the boss fights are are so beautiful and epic. It really pumps you up.
Stop the Time 2 with Stormblood Primals would be amaaaaaazing.
With how quick we try to take down the primals in every trial, we sometimes forget how awesome they can look.

I live for that transition at 1:00. And the timing at 3:33. So good I felt like I needed to pause and have a cigarette. Good fucking job Denmo.
this is great because in slow motion you can see details of the animation that you normally miss, like the way they make some hits seem like that have real impact, and the fluidity of movement.
Makes me miss playing with my friends. I'm all alone now.

Primal fights are gorgeous when people aren't rushing to get their ponies or tokens

I always play 8-player instances with the camera fully zoomed out, so I tend to miss out on all the finer details on offer in these fights.

BEAUTIFUL. Reminds me of all the joy (and... pain....) of fighting the extreme versions for the first time. The edit at 1:02 where the ninja in the frame seems to just smoothly transition between the cuts was my favorite. Also the timing with the music and Diamond Dust at 3:40 was also great. Thanks for these great videos! :)

I want a loop of the part where Ravana does his ultimate. The slow motion combined with the music just makes it look so awesome.

So awesome, so chilling yet some flaws, but I believe that it could have been too much as for the length of the video.
I'm obviously talking about the missing primals, but should I say that no one dared to quote Ultima above any other primals ?

Trial roulette is still the best way to pass time in this game. Sure, you probably aren't getting much in the way of loot or... well, anything, really, but I don't care. I love going through these fights.
Whenever someone tells me that level 50 content is outdated, I realize they probably mean there's no point in doing them because of the lack of relevant loot. But isn't the point of the game to have fun?
That's why I said on reddit that there was a crapton of content for casual players in the form of all the level 50 dungeons and trials, and well, I got downvoted for it.
Meh, I don't know how to deal with FFXIV's community.

The community on Reddit is mostly casual. I have to disagree with you saying it's mostly hardcore, because it isn't. Complaining about hte difficulty of content, lack of content, and class balance doesn't make you a hardcore raider, it makes you a casual whiner.

+YUXKE Phoenix is kind of spoilery, and Bahamut is... well... actually both of them are kind of in a separate category aren't they, being that they are harder than any EX encounter as they are part of a raid?
+KyvannShrike I wouldn't think so since those raid bosses are pretty outdated easy content unsynced. The title just says Primal battles in general for the most part anyway
Why no Odin or Bahmunt or Mog?
+Dajellomon They are not considered traditional Primals. Odin is something more of a parasite, Bahamut is just an undead dragon brought back to life, and The Good King Moogle Mog is something like Jesus Christ.
I know this is old, but you do realise that Bahumat is always referred to as the *Elder Primal*, right? He is the most powerful Primal in terms of lore.
No mog king? Literally the hardest battle of all of these through Duty Finder.

I don't like that you didn't use music from the game. Bad showcase simply because of that.
Christian Floyd its not meant to be a showcase of the game in General this is denmos presentation of the primals and their powers. like most of dens work it figures music not from ffxiv as hes doing funnys or dances while using ffxiv as the base. its what he's always done
if you wanted a real show case then im sure happy or verymerri or dude where is my spoon wouod be good choices for that. with den its pure friendly entertainment here
