I got very excited to see the Forester GT, assuming that it would have the 2.4L turbo. But no. Bummer.

@@TripPH that sucks that it has a 2.0L in it. I was assuming that it was gonna have 2.5L like in the US here we have the bigger 182 HP 2.5L Motor for the Forester.

its underpower whethet GT or not. In the US its 2.5 liter engine standard. Expensive to maintain because spare parts are expensive. I'd rathet buy Mazda CX 5 with 100 k km PMS.

In 2025 Subaru is going to come out with the redesigned Forester with an available Hybrid system from the Toyota Rav / Venza and Lexus NX.
I’ll wait until the 26 year model to get the bugs worked out and then sell my 19 Forester Touring and buy the Forester Touring Hybrid.
2024 or by the end of 2023 for new generation

Have a 2020 model. At 13,000 kilometers only, aircon evaporator needed to be replaced. Unreliable.
Gas consumption in the video is also misleading.

if you drive more long distance/high way mileage, you definitely need turbo. normal driving in city or less 100km highway, you do not need turbo.

Why would I want a 156hp 2.0L when the 2.5L 182hp is the only engine available in the USA?
Furthermore it still comes with 33 year old Depressing Grey or Death Black interior colors that became popular in 1990. 🤮🤮🤮
Over 1/2 my life every automobile manufacturer has been shoving these Depressing, Drab, Dark, Boring interior colors down everyone’s throat.
I suppose are mentally ill and depressed so they want everyone else to reflect the way they feel about themselves and society.
Terrible to not have the performance and only sporty appearance. The Wilderness Outbacks turbo performance makes this pseudo gt Forester a joke and an insulting step backwards to the GT persona.

nothing should be called a GT with only 156hp,....subaru must lift it's game, design is ugly too.
