    Thanks man. Was able to do this last night because of your video. I realize you said it's an 8 millimeter but I would just point out to people who aren't in garage is all day you need that combination pipe wrench or a deep well 8 millimeter socket to get the ones in the back with the studs on them.

    Is it possible that the fault will reset itself? because it looks like mine did on a 2016 mega cab. It was stored in messages but it’s no longer there. This is after I changed it out.

    There's a black cover on my electrical sensor, and I can't slide the red tab out. It blocks the right side of it. I've watched a bunch of videos and no one else seems to have this black cover. I'm worried about breaking it. Any other ways to get the tab to slide out? I'm stuck on this step.

    Why do people lub the gasket. They get oil on them anyway?

    Is this something you do every oil change? I had recently did my oil and fuel filters changed and reset it on the dash but after about 100 miles the “perform service” popped back on? Would this be what I need to change next?

    • @CampfiresAndMotors
      @CampfiresAndMotors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, the perform service message is for the CCV not oil and filter.

    • @CampfiresAndMotors

      I looked into it and decided not to on my truck. Just keep the filter clean by changing in when needed and it should be fine.

    My dash said change air filter is the ccv filter ? I got 69,000 miles cummins 6.7

    • @CampfiresAndMotors
      @CampfiresAndMotors  ปีที่แล้ว

      This reset if for the Perform Service Message. If yours says air filter, I'd check it if you haven't cleaned it or replaced it in 69,000 miles.
