Kumbi Kathawa Premier 2007 - 10 Minute excerpt

Kumbi Kathawa was 5 years in the making. Without a permanent home for the dance school and the cast changing twice over, staging this production seemed a far fetched dream. Finally in January 2007 after the Chitrasena Kalayathanaya moved to it's permanent home in Narahenpita Kumbi Kathawa finally premiered in September 2007 at The Bishop's College Auditorium. It was later re-produced in 2009 and again in 2015. This Dance Drama is now a part of the G.C.E O/L Syllabus for Dance.
