The human guitarists are decent, but the dog and lizard at 4:20 are fucking BEAST.

No album has ever inspired me like The Path of Apotheosis. It's like...when I heard it, it just wasn't like anything I've heard. Anybody can play fast and brutal, but to be able to become with these melodies...everything is so cohesive. Songwriting is some top tier stuff. It was written so well. And I still haven't heard anything like it a year after it's release. Fallout 4 is my next anticipated video game, lol, but whatever the fuck these guys make next is my most anticipated music release across any genre. Great song, great album, and great musicians.

I agree they're amazing. I have just discovered them and they're imense. The only other album that has shined like these has to be First Fragments - Daesin. I recommend giving them a listen as I believe they also have neoclassical elements and are too, crazy guitarists xD.
Dude, I have that album on rotation currently! Gula is insane. While it is good, it doesn't touch TPOE though. IMO. But that lead guitarist from First Fragment has other projects including Ch'thellist and Zealotry. Check em out!
Indeed! Gula's solo was on repeat for at least an hour when I first heard it. I must say Le Serment De Tsion is my favourite, all songs perfect however xD. I can't really compare the two albums yet as I only just found Inferi today after them being recommended on a Facebook page (Techdeath Fans United - you should join as it's a great community) Oh really? Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check them out now.

Hours of efficient practice and listening to the best guitarists will help you get as good as you want to be. Most people are capable of being this good: they just don’t want to put in the necessary amount of hours to be this good.

I've been listening to it at least once a week for several months now, intently analyzing each part. It's truly a masterpiece. Every note and measure is put together so amazingly, nothing is wasted. You're the Beethoven of tech/melo death in my eyes. I know this is an old song, but I'm so passionate about this track, especially being a composer myself, and i wanted you to know im a huge fan of u and of the album. Just hope you see this!

one and a half years since I've been practising this song. It improved my techniques, my picking and even the location of my right hand while trying to pick. Still practising, but I have a long way to go. Whenever I stop practising the song, I immediately start from the beginning. Maybe because of muscle memory cannot remember how to do it correctly. It encourages me yet makes me feel I will never be able to become such a guitarist as these fantastic guys are. Nevertheless, it's an incredible masterpiece in every aspect. Keep up the great music. 🤟🏻

learning this song is making me better and cleaner as a whole at guitar. First song ina while that I am able to sit and really want to master and practice for hours on end. So far I have only learned up until the beginning of the second verse (the riff is different than the first verse) so I have just been practicing that for now. It has improved my ability speed wise and my technicality with writing as well. Inferi is the embodiment of inspirational riffage and composition.

i cant stop listening to this album. im the type of person that finds a band and is like this is my favorite shit ever then a week later im bored with it and gotta find something new. but I find myself listening to apotheosis in my car all day every day (im a delivery driver) and just cant get over how fucking amazing it is. the tones all around are fucking outrageous, the guitar playing is obviously fantastic, same with bass, the drums just sound so good and crisp and hes a beast, and the vocals have a good bit of power behind them and still have good enunciation. You guys' phrashing is fuckin phenomenal I saw someone mention wretched as an influence. ive never listened to them, but theres a couple of songs in there that seem to me to have slight strapping young lad influence. obviously not as industrial or anything but I still feel like its there.
