    Is it possible to set up the work area such that it's centered at 0,0 instead of having 0,0 in the lower left corner?

    I downloaded the trial version and want to buy the key. But I have a problem when I use the LightBurn program, it stops with ezcad, why?

    • @LaserEverything
      @LaserEverything  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ezcad and lightburn use different drivers so you can only use one at a time, we talk about it a little further into the crash course and teach you how to switch between the two quickly.

    Hi! How do I increase the size of my workspace? Thanks! Marie

  • @charlesrosenbloom4140
    @charlesrosenbloom4140 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    why are work area larger than the lens size in your videos? like you had a 150mm lens and the work area was like 186mm

    • @LaserEverything
      @LaserEverything  ปีที่แล้ว

      Corfile lens corrections overwrite the advertised lens size with the true lens size. You still only want to use up to the advertised workspace size marked on the lens but the advertised specs are approximate, not exact.

    I have a Thunder Laser Aurora coming. I am familiar with LightBurn, will I have to install EasyCad as well?

    These videos are great! I do have an issue that isn't addressed here. My laser (ComMarker 50w with windows 10) sets the images as reversed and rotated clockwise 90 degrees. On my screen the image is correct. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

    How many laser machines can you control with one computer? one galvo and one co2? or you can control as many as you have? Please advice

    Greetings. I am using the trial version of lightburn. The problem I'm having is when I type a text on the screen and preview it, it looks ok. On the material it's showing a different direction and if I move it to the left or right with the arrow keys it moves in a different direction. The text is horizontal and on the material it is showing vertical. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    • @LaserEverything
      @LaserEverything  ปีที่แล้ว

      Could be one of two things - your workspace is either rotated like you have your laser rotated to the side but youre looking at the software straight on in which case you'd set Angle under your device settings to 90 or 270 - OR - your galvo 1 = x or galvo 2 = x is set incorrectly, also in device settings. Try playing with those to see if you can get it right.
      A few episodes after this one we go into how to generate lens correction profiles which will fix this automatically for you.

    Hi, can i adjust the home position (the coordinates the laser start firing) in Lightburn for my Galvo laser? i could do it easily in Ezcad in the Param button (offset X and offset Y) but i never found the same function in Lightburn. Would you have an idea about this? Many thanks.

    • @LaserEverything
      @LaserEverything  25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Sorry for the delay, and absolutely if I'm understanding right. It's in the device settings of lightburn where you can offset field position. Hope that helps!

    Alex, lightburn galvo is different program and co2 gantry that i use is different also? I mean, can i use galvo and classic co2 gantry in one lightburn version combined?

    • @LaserEverything
      @LaserEverything  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lightburn is one program but you will require an additional license in order to unlock the galvo functionality in your copy of the software.

    • @polakis1975
      @polakis1975 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LaserEverything yes, i know that. So when i purchase the second license for galvo, i will operate one single program (my existing one) for both, correct? If so, different lenses, same program also, or one copy for each lens as ezcad? Thanks!

    • @shark92651
      @shark92651 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@polakis1975 You can run as many lasers as you want in a single install. In the device list you can right-click your laser to duplicate it and setup for a different lens size.
