Thanks for the video!! I have found that my best results have come from using Pon (Captain) Weyoun, TOS Kirk. While it is RNG based, when Pon's Captain Maneuver hits, it's a serious game changer. Cancelling out the opponent's weapons for the first three rounds of battle is craziness. My TOS Kirk is maxed, so while it's not 100% Morale guarantee, it's pretty darn close.

I think that round limit is the thing that definitely stops the full syn crew from being anywhere near as earth shattering.
Has anyone noticed how before rev made this video, Scopely was selling Wayoun at 119.99€ for TEN SHARDS on the Apple Store? Neither Dukaat nor La'an were sold for this high a price, yet they both don't have an 8 round limit. Please change Wayoun's captain ability to remove the round limitation. Then we might actually have a chance against the other strike teams.
Battleship crew can be used outside of normal PVP aswell, Una is a good base defender, like in the Battleship "Bold" defense i showed you on discord. Basically its better than the basic Bold defense since it doesnt need a Jelly and can achieve the same results with 1 ship less.
So many tests, arguments and comments on these crews appear to be based on and centred around G3 ships however apart from the Strike team on Augur having a massive effect due to firing pattern etc, I think these crews were generally created with G4+ ships in mind where the fights are short and hard. That being said, I do agree that Weyouns 8 rd cap needs changing and Ikat'ika could do with a tweak.
Simply showing those cause thats what applies to most players, however, BST is dominant all the way to lvl 60. It's pretty much the same order nomatter what bracket you're in.
let PON's captain ability work on offense!! (in game doesn't say "defense only" but patch notes say "defense")... pushing all shots 3 rounds could counter SOOOO many crews
Your video had a focus on 34+ players, where the fights last that much longer. Does this strike team have better success for 20's/low 30's? Sounds like it could be a sound investment for lower levels, then, when reaching fights with Epic ships, splitting them up as per your suggestion. There may even have been sourcing put in place, allowing those players to enjoy tiered up officers when they come to piecemealing them...
Well this definitely is going to affect how I spend my event store. I already have Weyoun and Pan unlocked. Is TOS Uhura or rare Spock a good combo? Or say Yuki, Weyoun, and something? Need a B'Rel crew....🙆🏽♂️
If there is only moral for 8 rounds - how does the enterprise loose the fight with full shields in a 29 round fight? (in the enterprise v. enterprise where rev wins with with Kirk, HG Worf and Marcus)
I currently running at Level 23 and have 1 Discovery and 2 Northstars both at above 150k and 200k. Both Northstars are killing it vs PVE enemies up to 26.
Explorer weakness: slugfests laying longer than 8 rounds. Interceptor weakness: needs full synergy or you risk not having hull breach for the entire combat. Battleship weakness: none? One of these things is not like the other, and all of them need some fine tuning. But once again thank you for the video rev. Now I don't feel so bad not going after the explorer strike team.
Battleship weakness - Slow as mud. If you get caught by a non cloaked BB, you lose. So don’t get caught! You can likely pick a few battles you can win before the BB catches you. The most OP shop in the game is still the Enterprise.
I was pointing out the actual result. If you balance all the crews, then you just cause the Enterprise dominance in the game to continue. So once again with more specificity, the most OP ship in the game, even given the weakness of the explorer crew, is STILL the Enterprise. The most OP crews are mostly Fed as well with Borg second, I believe. I’m wondering why the one time it seems the Fed isn’t the easy button, their has to be a bunch of people asking for a buff. @@nunyabidness3075 I'm not asking to balance the crews, the only officers I'd suggest tweaking is ST Una and Weyoun. Completely bypassing shields in 3 to 4 rounds is op. And Weyoun needs to be able to generate morale beyond round 8. Yes the Enterprise is one of the best ships in the game and yes Federation officers are a bit busted and everywhere. As a Fed player I would love to see more Klingon and romulan officers that are just as beefy or moreso than the Federation. I want more awesome ships from those factions, and most importantly I want cloaking removed from the Enterprises.
Without critical hits no explorer is going to overpower strike team una's shield depletion. Scopely have to do something with morale to make it more powerful if they aren't going to change the existing cards, because morale for 8 rounds or 80 rounds won't help against massive shield drain.
Ghrush is probably the strongest stats officer on the game at higher levels. But only below decks. Slot him when you need to give your ship a huge boost. ...Byrd

just for reference ... the ika'tika officer ability just looks impressive ... but when you check the math Rev barely gets a TOTAL of +10% damage increase out of him because of all the +dmg stuff you get all the available sources in the game
the other thing i don't like about the ST explorer crew is that if you don't use weyoun as captain there is no morale for he crew, period. So even if you for whatever reason want one of the others to be captain, like say full synergy pon for meme base defense, you are gimping the team by making morale completely inaccessible.
I've ran Weyoun cap. win Pon and Jar Jar kirk on the side on my Enterprise with mixed results. I am underwhelmed by the crew and pretty much just use them as a Throw away crew on my Brel
2 fixes are desperately needed: Silver Tongue - remove 8 round limit Created to Win - base weapon damage scales for absolute shit (even Riker @ 100% per round doesn't make a big impact until round 10+), this needs to be changed to either cumulative addition of a % of officer stats to weapon damage or to piercing
Gotta say that I'm pretty disappointed with Weyoun, I pushed so hard to get him hoping the explorer strike team would be similar to the battleship. I do like their abilities, but 8 rounds or moral is a joke for such a valued epic officer, I think they should remove the round restriction.
it can be useful but like officers you have to source to get it. If you can't get it, what good is it? like me, i haven't even managed to get battleship strike team even though i did all the events for it. the same goes for explorer. the source of these officers is extremely bad
The 8 rounds is a huge problem... Also its just a single chance, if you don't have full synergy it might not proc at all... Which for me is a no go. Half STE is worthless to me because of that, needs a kirk then.

They do well against the Ducat crew and maybe it is to make up for the fact that the Enterprise is OP, but it is interesting to me that in the 20's the Saladin was OP, in the 30's the enterprise was OP, now with the battle ship ST all battleships are op. Scopley, get rid of the 8 round limit and make Ika'tika the same as Ash Tyler but with morale and Defense.
T3 ikitikiy on my T7 full upgrade Valdore is a max 30k increase in dmg from opening to max stacking. This is literally trash. Even with stoping criticals from Pon, against a Pilum w/ interceptor ST , the Pilum wins from just pure dmg and shots gained from Dukat. No balance here. …side note Weyoun/Pon/HGW w/ RNG is amazing
Question regarding starbase and assaults - usually if there is 1 alliance with the strongest player on the server, then that alliance goes on a rampage and takes the server's rss without any significant resistance. Nearly all other alliance related interactions require the participation of many players (like territory capture etc), where chances are slightly more even. What would be your advice for starbase defense?
I like that you are doing Strike team video, but you didn't really give ways to use them clearly, you showed some logs but didn't say how and what you would do. What are your 5 best crews for exploerers? what crews would you use that benefit from explorer strike team ? do you suggest kirk weyon, charv on Ent or weyon pon charv? or something else?what about on valdore? what is the best counter on explorer for other strike team? is it some use of them or old officers?
I wish I knew how to write phonetics. Your pronunciation of the Jem'Hadar name hurts my soul. I like in Indigestion, Ka like in Kahn, Ti (short I), and another Ka. I think these are close enough examples to get there.
Just say it the strike team for explorers sucks. The purpose is not to substitute one of them. Then if you can use all 3 then they are a failure. They have no value

I found out using TOS Kirk as Captain, Weyoun and Pon does great on an Explorer. I have a tier 7 E and defeated a tier 9 E.
So based on this, leveling up Weyoun is a good idea? I’m only 16 shards from tier two.

Having issues with Weyoun activating in round 8 so he stops after round 7. This is not a good situation

If they extended Weyoun's morale limit they would definitely be much more powerful
What do you think about TOS Kirk (captain), Weyoun, max Kang as an anti-Pilum crew for the Korinar?
I think that tos kirk damage boost is pretty low for level 46 ships and the korinor will probably drown in ducat hull breaches with critical hits.
Weyoun is a little disappointing. The eight round limitation is unfortunate.
