I can definitely relate to having trouble with finishing wips, I'm currently in that sort of a rut. I think something I struggle with accepting but that would make me a lot happier in the long run is the knowledge that knitting is a hobby and that I shouldn't work on something that doesn't give me joy anymore. If I come back to a ufo after a while and I find joy in it once more, that' great! If I end up unravelling it and making something I enjoy more, that's great too! But taking time away from a project to work on something else is okay and we (read: I) shouldn't beat ourselves up for an abandoned project every once in a while.
