Why Dump Fuel?? (VTOL VR)

I tend to use Fuel Dump as a lightening measure if my aircraft has taken damage. I often fly the F-24, so fuel can be a bit tight. But I often dump if I’ve taken damage from say a missile strike (depending on where the damage is).
The one condition I WON’T dump fuel is if I’m missing a wing. The theory is that the fuel in the remaining wing will slightly counter the roll tendency of the aircraft.

That’s not what we tend to use fuel dump for, a friend of mine tends to dump fuel if he’s too heavy and sees a dogfight coming I do the same but very seldomly

@@sagewolf7831 I believe before a dogfight you jettison external tanks

@@BuddySpike23 generally the rule of thumb is to drop them long before a dogfight, I always run the 2200 tank on ranked that way I get a fair bit into the map before dropping it there are exceptions like if the enemy has worked their way all the way to just outside your spawn
