I think all the viewers will benefit a lot if we include designing of all things like, staircase,ground and roof water tank, columns,beams,slabs, foundation etc and include report, all loads dead,live,wind,earthquake,combination loads etc. in one tutorial and show it on you tube
columns are vertical members , from slabs floor load comes on to the beam and again the from the beam members loads + loads from slabs goes to column ultimately . column self weight has already been added ..
Basically those type of errors will see when the self weight is defined twice and assigned twice for Structure . to resolve this error goto tools and check multiple Structures check for duplicate nodes Delete the duplicate nodes to resolve nodal error . To resolve multiple Structure error delete self weight and resign by using option assign to view

NO . We can use ACI 318-05, ACI 318M-05, BS 8110, EC2:2004 CODES only Work for slab design..
