Pyromania was a great album, but because I'm old, my first intro to DL was of course the two that came before: 1st Album: Into The Night. The song Rock Brigade is the one to listen to from that 1st album. 2nd Album: High And Dry. The big hit was Bringing On The Heartbreak/Switch625, but if you ask me the song Let It Go is so good too. BTW, Bringing On and Switch must be played together, just like Bostons Foreplay/Longtime, Journey's Anytime/Feeling That Way. 3rd (Last Decent Album): Pyromania, while more commercial than the first 2, had too many good songs to list individually. Anything after Pyro was maple syrup turd stock IMHO.
So much better than that silly "sugar" shit, huh? This album (Pyromania) and before is where you find the good Def Leppard. While it's true that Pyromania is more commercial than their previous stuff, it still rocks. But they lost me with the next album (Hysteria). Just my opinion, of course. But I think most old school Def Leppard fans would agree with me.
they had a few earlier albums with little success ... "PYROMANIA" had the best success - partly because of MTV ... their next album wasn't as good, they only had a few minor hits ... then NOTHING, they stopped making music altogether
Pyromania (their 3rd album) was their breakthrough album, but the album after Pyromania (Hysteria) was their best selling album by far, and produced the most hits. The next album, Adrenalize, was also successful. It was the third most successful behind Hysteria and Pyromania. It debuted number 1 on the UK album chart and the Billboard 200, and had four major hit singles. After that was a compilation and a greatest hits, then they put out the album Slang in '96, Euphoria in '99, X in '02, a couple more collections/best ofs, then Yeah! in '06, Songs from the Sparkle Lounge in '08, a couple live albums, then a self-titled album in '15, then another live album. So they certain did not stop making music. The first two albums are killer, but they are very non-commercial hard rock albums. Hard rock and metal fans like me loved them, but they didn't have a wider commercial appeal. Pyromania was, for me and for many others, their last good album. It was more commercial than previous albums, but still rocked. After that they basically went all out pop rock, which led to greater success at least in the short term, but lost a lot of their older fans.
I love the Pyromania days the best
"Rock of Ages" or "Billy's got a Gun" from the Pyro album
Def Leppard - 'Photograph'
Did you notice in this Rick the drummer has both arms

Love me some Joe Elliot...still a good looking guy today!
Too Late For Love
Try bringing on the heartbreak
Love when they rock hard instead of making radio ahead
This was before the drummer (Rick Allen)% crashed his Corvette and lost his arm.
