Ah yes. This brings me back to late 2000s-early 2010s TH-cam when I would watch this guy for walkthroughs. His style hasn't changed at all and I like that, brings me back to better times
I always thought Harry has a critical case of derp face in this game. You gotta wonder how they couldn't make him look more like Joe Pesci, since they clearly had no problem using those horrible pixelated scans from the movie. =D Also, the Wet Bandits really expanded their operation into a crime syndacite (or the mob by the look of those fedora guys). Also also, excellent job as usual.
I had Home Alone 2 on snes back in the day and it wasn't near as good as this one, the Genesis version is also badass, the games based on the 1st movie are pretty damn underrated. GG Aqua, hope you're having a decent holiday season m8.
25:57 Funnily enough, you actually do fight the furnace in the Game Boy version (same as the SNES but with poorer graphics) as the final boss, along with Marv and Harry as bosses beforehand, with Old Man Marley and his shovel helping you out in Harry's (also the only Home Alone game that acknowledges that side character). I don't get the other bosses they had, as they feel more like they'd be like in a Halloween themed game, not a Christmas one.
C+ seems pretty damn generous for this game. I remember liking it as a kid, but it had poor replay value and did not age well as a Super NES game. I’d have said “D” or something like that.
I'm surprised by how often you hear music from the Nutcracker in this game, I guess it was in Home Alone, although I haven't seen that film in a while.
I was thinking the same thing about the furnace in the basement as I was watching. There had to be a spot for the shovel slayer in this game, no? I didn't play this game, but I played the sequel, which was probably even more subpar.
The furnace is in the Game Boy version (same as the SNES but with worse graphics), along with an additional battle with Marv and Harry; the shovel slayer only appears in Harry's battle via the windows.
You think that there's no items but you are wrong if you use the squirt gun on those light switches you should be able to get extra stuff. and when the lights turn on and acts like a alarm and Marv runs off.
I used to like Home Alone as a kid. But movies like Planes Trains and automobiles, The Thing, or The grey are movies I just like more. Plus I can't go back to watch Joe Pesci in Home alone since I reconize him more from Goodfellas and Casino. I'm just use to him playing your titular Gangster. In all seriousness, Movie licensed games aren't always that good. But ironically the same's true with Movies based on games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat Annihilation, and Resident Evil. If they're so bad it's good, I can excuse them because they were ment to be bad like Tomb Raider or Doom from 2005. I think they shouldn't bother plus Games are more cinematic nowadays anyways. Games like MGS1, The uncharted games, and The Last of us. God of War is Cinematic too but also it's a game and plays like an action game. That actually reminds me. Can you do a video review on The God of War games Aqualung? I must see it and what you think of the overall God of War games.
Would B cool if the tarantula was a an item & use it scare the bandits, like what Kevin did 2 Marv in the movie.😂🤣 That was my favorite because Marv's scream is so funny.😅😂🤣
I thought it was a bad game at first, but the more I played it, the more decent I found it. The 16-bit era was full of mediocre platformers, and you could do worse.
Talk about a cash grab. Holy Christmas, I'd be bored as hell trying to play through this, having to do the same flipping lock things in the safe three times! Well, that's what you're here for, playing these god awful games so we don't have to. Speaking of licensed games, how about a review of an NES game that I opened on Christmas: Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout.

In the slow walking Marv room where you said you have to take damage, you can shoot the switches on the wall with your water gun.
Thanks for the info
I am happy to see this.
TH-cam has been getting stale but seeing you making new videos makes me happy.
I'm a simple guy. I see Aqualung upload, and I click.
These videos give me so much nostalgia . One of the few youtubers Ive been coming back to well over a decade ! Always a treat!!
“Pump his guts full of lead” well done!

Looks like Christmas present came early

Glad to see a new video.
Love aqualung. Can't wait for his super mario world.
Gonna be a good Sunday, wake up to a new Aqualung video 👍

Again there is still items there and again you could use the squirt gun.
Do the Genesis version of Home Alone
Here's to another 10 years of Aqualung reviews.
Do a collaboration with AVGN already.
It’s easier to hold up and jump as you go down the hallway because you’ll get a lot of secret items

8:30 you forgot the ring!
Furnace: "Hello Kevin!" Kevin: "SHUT UP!"
Merry Christmas 🎄
This is my house! I have to defend it!

That thumbnail was the right choice. Arguably the only choice!
8:11 to quote a legend: "I think this is a f*** up that the programmers didn't feel like fixing."

how hard is this game
u a OG bro, nice to see u upload
You think Harry and Marv would be the final boss. I think they were in the GameBoy version actually.
@Sailor Sedna Oh yeah! Like I was surprised they went that extra effort over the SNES one.
merry xmas
Love the work, but who is the goddamn troll that seems to always thumb down these videos. Its always 1.
I never played the first game, but I had Home Alone 2 on NES and I fucking hated it 😂
25:07 - He's the giant rat that makes all the rules.
Clearly the final boss should have been Mecha-Harry and Marv
19:10
Yay. Same!
I thought it was a bad game at first, but the more I played it, the more decent I found it. The 16-bit era was full of mediocre platformers, and you could do worse.
The Mega Drive version was pretty good to be honest. Hard as balls but ok. This version is crappy.
"Oh No" is right, lol.
W00000T !!! AGR Upload FTW
