I have a C Mount to Arri Standard adapter. Works like a charm

You got a REX 2 model? Those were for some reason quickly replaced by the REX 3 H16.

Yes I have the Rex2, this model was only made in 1963 and after they moved on to add the flat base plate and the ability to have an external motor to make timelapse. I wanted to get a more rescent model but I got such a killer deal on this one that I couldn’t pass.

@@domgrimard right now I’m in the process of saving for a REX 3 or above I liked the non rex one I have so I decided to upgrade, so I’m going to take my time getting this one.

@@oldradiosnphonographs in terms of shooting experience they are identical, same viewfinder

@@domgrimard but I like the idea of having a Timelapse feature. The only other film camera I have that will do Timelapses is my 1014 AZE Canon super 8. (I have the attachment for)
The flat bottom is good to do EZ matte FX. And plus with the reflex finder I don’t have to guesstimate preset the lens in a different finder and what I see is what I get.

@@oldradiosnphonographs ai did a bunch of timelapse with a cable release but it sure isn’t the same as with a motor.
