Nice video. I did a six month tour at Camp Mirage near Dubai and never saw fire apparatus once as much as I tried.
it reminded me of my previous work in my home country......and i missed it so much.....so bad.

The Dubai Civil Defense is like a fire dept. with the difference, that they only handle the firefighting and no EMS.
btw: I've visited some fire stations and took photos and videos :) They have pretty interesting rigs, e. g.: a Hummer, Ferrara Snorkel (with a Q :) ), ...

But I was pretty nervous too.. I was looking around, took photos and heard yelp, it came fast and closer.. I changed my camera as fast as I could and started recording - within 5 seconds^^ It sounded like 5 and more vehicles coming and I knew that 3 or 4 will definitely respond right now (! they have a small pumper which would be the 4th unit).

The Dubai Civil Defense is a fire dept., it's just called "Civil Defense" and not fire dept.

Well.. to be honest, I don't know.You should ask officials in the UAE ;) The only thing I know is that they almost import people from all over the world, so finding a good job there isn't that much hard I believe
