[Dubai Civil Defence] Fire response Al Satwa Fire Station

In this video you can see the Al Satwa fire station of the Dubai Civil Defence being dispatched to a fire call. It all starts with ringing bells followed by opening bay doors. A small rescue vehicle, a pumper and a tanker are then leaving the fire station. These units are the regular fire assignment at any station in the city. An aerial truck will only go when requested or for special buildings. A vehicle of the rescue services is also heading into the same direction. Unfortunately I could film this only from my hotel room, I was at the station a few minutes before. This station gets an emergency call every two days on average. The units came back 30min later, you can see them backing up into the station.
In diesem Video sieht man wie die Feuerwache Al Satwa der Dubai Civil Defence zu einem Feueralarm ausrückt. Alles fängt mit einem lauten Klingeln an bevor sich die Hallentore öffnen. Anschließend rückt der reguläre Löschzug mit ELW/VRW, HLF und GTLF aus. Jede Wache der Stadt verfügt über einen ähnlichen Zug. Eine DL oder ein Mast werden im ersten Abmarsch nur in Einzelfällen geschickt. Ein Fahrzeug des Rescue Services schließt sich dem Konvoi an. Leider konnte ich das Ganze nur aus meinem Hotelzimmer filmen. Ein paar Minuten früher war ich noch unten an der Wache. Diese Feuerwache rückt ca. alle 2 Tage aus zu Notfalleinsätzen. Die Fahrzeuge kamen nach 30min zurück, man sieht sie beim Einparken in die Wache.

Neat stuff! Very few Dubai fire response videos out there. I like that end truck.
One thing though - how does a station that size, in a city THAT size, get a callout on avg every two days!?!?!?

Dubai war schon immer anders als der Rest vom Land. Ich kenne das zumindest von dem Quick Wachen nicht aber wie heißt es dort so schön. Same same but different.
Ich denke nicht das sich daran viel geändert hat aber du solltest mit dem Filmen/ fotografieren von "staatlichen Gebäuden" etwas vorsichtig sein. Der CID (Criminal Investigatiion Department) sah das damals zumindest nicht all zu gern. Hatten einen Kollegen ermahnt der unsere Wache fotografierte.
Trotzdem sehr schönes Video. Sieht man ja nicht all zu oft. Wenn du mal in andere Emirate kommst kannst du dort ja mal eine Quick Intervention Wache besuchen. Da triffst du dann auch Deutsche/Österreicher an.
