This is the very first time I've heard a pastor actually denounce Christmas and I've been in the church since the age of six. All praises due to the most high God!
My dear one many born again Christians still adore religions because of structures, robes and status so pastors avoid condemning christmas rituals to keep their congregation. They have no revelation of our God and the devil is robbing them of their time and souls

If catching up with family and giving presents doesn't make you feel "holy" enough than give to those less fortunate. Christmas is a time for us to reflect on our own relationship with God. Most people get time off and so we can spend our time with God and do things for others without having work bring us down.

Christmas means Christ-mas; all Christians come together and mas for Christ and praise his birth. How can Christmas be of the Devil when "Christ" is the word? Jeremiah 10:1-15 says nothing about having a Christmas tree; it's talking about Idol-making and worshipping them.
They used "craftsmen" to cut the tree with the axe and then carve it into the image they worship; then cover it with gold and silver; so it is no longer a tree but an idol that they nail to the floor and worshipped year-round.

He's taken scripture out of context about worshipping Christmas trees (read and study Jeremiah for yourself especially chapter 9-10). Also, it's true we don't know day of Christ's birth, a day has been set aside to acknowledge and celebrate.

I told it to my sister and we didn't celebrate Christmas this year.
Her two kids, 8 and 4, understood it VERY WELL! We explained them everything.
I said "merry Christmas" to my brother's daughter because I was still used to it and my 4 year old sister's son reminded me, very wisely.

I stop celebrating Christmas years ago on my own. My sons mom was upset that I don’t buy gifts, put up trees or get into the Christmas spirit. She said I ruined it for my son for years. I told her that I don’t side with the world, Jesus birthday is not Christmas and the holiday is Paganism and I’m not teaching my son that it is real. I can’t teach something to my child that I’ve have grown myself to know it’s not the truth.!

Edit: I have a minor in Christian Theology and I learned in the early 2000’s that Jesus was more likely born in March. You are the 1st pastor since then that I have heard mention this.
It’s true. I have a master’s in theology and going through seminary made me look at things totally different than what I was raised on. I haven’t put in a tree in two years and wont this year either.

Most of the holidays that are on our calendar during are due to I believe some conqueror trying to persuade their captures to convert to Christianity. During the pandemic I was driven to study the word of God like never before. In the process I began to question a lot of the practices that us Christians engage in and see as okay to practice. However, it was awoken in my spirit that Christmas was a pagan holiday along with many other holidays. This year I finally told my husband that we shall not partake in any Christmas activities as I have to teach my children the right way of living as a Christian.

I was 6 years old in 1952 when I found out that my father and mother put our Christmas presents under the Christmas tree and there really wasn’t a Santa Claus. When they left the room me and my sister looked at each other and my sister said to me, Santa Claus is mommy and daddy. They thought we were sleeping and when they but the presents under the Christmas tree we were peeping under the covers and could see my father and mother bringing in our presents. We never told them we knew that they put our presents under the tree and we know there is no Santa Claus!!!! Never told any of our friends that Santa Claus was their parents. When I was 18 years old my Father said there would not be anymore Christmas trees in our home period. This was in 1964.

Many Christians even if they hear this they like to celebrate because says that is a spirit of gather together with the family and friends.
My opinion is that they can do this every day not to wait for end of December to celebrate and to eat good food. Or to do something good things for poor people.
The only difference is that Christmas is a federal holiday so that means ppl get off from work. If you have family that lives far away you can have time to visit them, some ppl only get a chance to see their extended families during the holiday season and they plan all year just to do it.. everyday can't be a holiday because ppl have to work
He’s preaching legalism. Christmas is a great opportunity to spread the gospel. The nativity scene is NOT an idol!! It’s a way of expressing that Christians celebrate Jesus.

No wonder around the time of Christmas and other holidays I find myself all by myself and my driveway is empty, all alone, while all my neighbors have all their family and friends at their houses and their parking drive ways are full, their all smiles and acting happy. No matter how much I pray about the holidays and having company over it’s the same year after year, nobody. Because God is showing me these things have nothing to do with Him. But, because God is a merciful God in Jesus name He always allows for me a joyful heart nevertheless.

We are supposed to enjoy life not feel condemned about everything we do. We are not perfect. Christ died for our sins so we can have eternal life and have it more abundantly. Christ gives us joy so we can live for him and enjoy his abundance of blessings. Not a perfect life but as long as we acknowledge him and do our best to live for him, he blesses us and takes care of us. Christmas is the time set aside to celebrate his birth and our new life in Christ, that's why God sent his son. Without Christ there is no CHRISTmas. This mans voice is not only condemning but irritating. For all I have witness and people I am familiar with who follow his ministry and I use the word ministry loosely, his is borderline cult. Read the Bible for yourself and gain wisdom.

With that little information, what do you think the color of the lights symbolizes? What do you think the star on top of the evergreen tree symbolizes? Our Heavenly Father uses symbolism to teach. What do you think the Scorpio sting in Revelation symbolizes?
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: I don’t celebrate Christmas but if people really do it for the glory of God not really take the time to party we can’t judge them.
Paul starts this new passage off with the word "therefore." This means the upcoming thoughts are the result of his prior statements. In earlier verses, Paul explained that our relationship with God is through Christ, not through physical rituals such as circumcision. The salvation we have, through Christ, is complete and total. Third, a "new moon" refers to the new moon celebrations in the Mosaic law (Numbers 29:6).
Fourth, Paul mentions the Sabbath day. In Judaism, Saturday, the seventh day, was a holy day from sunset Friday till sunset Saturday, during which no work could be done (Exodus 20:8-11).
Paul clearly states, in this verse, that these kinds of rules are not requirements for saved believers. The passage immediately before this verse explained that Christ removed all sin and penalty through His sacrifice. As a result, there are no possible works we can do, or need to do, in order to be made righteous with God. This is an idea Paul gave additional detail to in Romans chapter 14.
