@@kevinfoy7709 Well Acts 18:26 speaks about Aquila and Priscilla who are husband and wife, not two women. However it’s well known Priscilla was a teacher. According to one of the scriptures they incorrectly weaponize against women, (1Timothy 2:12 )Paul states he suffers not a woman to teach; but gives honors and thanks to Priscilla for her contributions in the church and establishing many churches in Romans 16.

What did Jesus say about women Preaching

    • @SpringhillSuites-e2u
      @SpringhillSuites-e2u 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

On the other side, Jesus included women in his circle of followers-something that no other rabbi did. The apostle Paul also wrote in Galatians 3:28 that in Christ there is no Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male or female. If we believe that Jesus made Jew and Gentile equal before God, why would we not believe that about men and women? Why would we let Jew or Gentile lead, slave or free speak, but not women? In the book of Acts, when God poured out His Spirit on Pentecost, Peter described it as the fulfillment of Joel’s prophecy that God would pour out His Spirit on all flesh, men and women alike, and they would all be gifted to serve and prophesy. If a woman is gifted by God to speak, why would we forbid her? There are women leaders and speakers in the churches in Acts, and in Paul’s letters, he refers to women leaders in the churches (for example, Romans 16).
The culture of Jesus’ day and Paul’s day was patriarchal; women had almost no rights. Jesus ignored that culture, and to some degree (though not entirely), so did Paul. It seems to me that the arc of Biblical teaching and God’s intent is to make us one. God gifts every person-no exception-so I cannot think of a good reason (or a Biblical one) to deny half the church the ability to use their gifts, particularly of speaking and leading.
That’s a short answer! Whole books have been written on this, by both sides-and again, by good Christians on both sides. I don’t believe it is a litmus test for true Christians-I think sincere believers can disagree about this and still be Christian. But I clearly believe that a gifted woman can speak or lead. I also recognize that their are differences between men and women-I’m not trying to deny that or dismiss those. In fact, those differences make it all the more important to me that we have female voices in leadership!

Just follow the Bible instead of trying to change it for your own personal interests. Women cannot preach and nothing will change that. It’s nothing wrong with that scripture (as all scripture is inspired by God.) but it’s something wrong with your own heart.

When you say "if we follow his teachings, we will make it into heaven." This shows a lack of one of the basic tenets of Christianity. I would urge--urge---urge that you read the Book of Galatians tonight. The way to Salvation is only through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ not by works; not by anything that we do! As to the specific video here, when I listen to Pastor Jennings speak, I think of "cult leader." He attempts to indoctrinate his congregation by always saying "the Bible says this"..."the Bible says that" but if he trusted his congregation, he would not have to repeatedly say this over and over. You would just quote the scripture. The problem with Pastor Jennings saying "the Bible says," is that I never hear him giving the context of the scripture. For example, when he quotes from the Old Testament/Mosaic Law/Jewish law, he never says that the Jewish law as set forth in the Old Testament does not and never has applied to Gentiles/Christians. This is an undebatable fact. In fact, you should have to read Acts 15 or the book of Galatians to see that this issue was resolved by the Apostle Paul during his lifetime. Now to the specific issue of women preachers, I know this debate did not begin or end with Pastor Jennings but has been a position taken by many denominations. First, who are the male PREACHERS named in the Bible? The concept of the modern church did not even exist in Paul's age. Yes, there were small gatherings but nothing like what exist today. Also, we know from the cultural norms and customs, that UNDER THE LAW, women were placed below men. Paul's letters to the various churches reflect those customs but nothing suggests that they should continue to this day. Without the necessity of saying, "the Bible says," I will quote two verses that are used to prohibit women from preaching: The first is 1 Timothy 2:12: "I do not permit a woman to teach or assume authority over a man; she must be quiet." As an initial matter, while it was initially believed that Paul was author of the two letters in first and second Timothy, we known know that these letters may have been written by a disciple of Paul or someone else in the Christian church (research this on your own). But nevertheless, for the sake of this discussion, let's assume that the Apostle Paul was writing to Timothy, a young Christian leader and companion of Paul. Paul was writing Timothy to address the specific issues and challenges facing the church at that time, such as false teachings, disputes among believers, and the need for sound doctrine and proper conduct within the church. He was trying to provide him practical advice for the ministry and to encourage him to remain faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Those issues are not the same issues today. Please note, the author of 1st Timothy does not limit his advice about women to the church. He says that he does not permit a woman to teach or assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. This would mean no women as CEO’s government heads, Mayors, Vice Presidents, Congresswomen, Senators, Professors, Teachers, Lawyers, Doctors, Supervisors, Bosses, Sunday School teachers…are you getting my point. This is an absurd interpretation of God’s word. I serve on firm management at my law firm and I am lead counsel on many cases. This would not be allowed by the writer in 1st Timothy. Also, note that the author of 1st Timothy expresses this as HIS belief; he never says this is God’s commandments. In 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, it says: "Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, AS THE LAW says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church." Again, like the book of Timothy, Paul was addressing specific issues being faced by the church at this time including women interrupting the service. Certainly, these verses do not even address the specific issue of preaching. Moreover, no church follows these rules prohibiting women from even speaking in church, indeed, I would be shocked if Pastor Jennings does not have female Sunday School teachers. Romans 13:1-2 says" Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves." So, does this mean that we should have never challenged slavery; the Civil War should have never taken place; Martin Luther King should never have led the Civil Rights movement? Does this mean we should never challenge the status quo in government and except discrimination and other abuses. Of course not. I would end this by urging folks to read Acts 15 and the entire book of Galatians. We are free from this yoke of bondage. Jesus Christ our Savior has set us free. p.s. and all of the women who left messages on this post quoting the Bible would not have been able to do so if these verses were really followed.

My fellow believers! We should all strive to be united in Christ & not divide over "non essential" doctrine. With so many denominations starting because of certain verses they emphasize & church splitting happening over difference in doctrinal interpretation, so much division in todays modern day american church, it causes the world of non believer's to be confused. Thats why we should strive for unity in Christ! Im reading all the comments, & i think its ok that we share our differences, & reason together from the scriptures, even debating, if its in love & fruitful, but just as long as we remain united in Faith in Christ!! We are united in the "Essential" doctrines of Christ! Which is Faith in Christ, belief in Christ as the Son of God & belief in the Gospel.. preaching the gospel & making disciples & teaching them to obey what he taught.. Love God & Love Neighbor! That is the essential doctrine of Christ that unites us, love God & love neighbor is what all the Law & the prophets hang on. Now, i do happen to agree with Gino Jennings on this topic. Its clear in the OT & NT, Paul was clear in 1 Timothy 2:8 "Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression"
Now some believers who disagree may say in response to this "it was a different culture back in those times, back in that culture 2,000 years ago, women werent educated like they are now our modern day culture, women werent able to vote back than in that culture, but now women can vote, women werent able to work back in the culture, but now women can work & have a career in todays culture, so Paul was writing this verse specifically for that culture & it was a cultural issue & not a standard doctrine prescribed for the modern day church in our time.. now, there is some truth to that argument, it's true that women in general werent educated like men were in those days & thats 1 reason why Paul said for women to keep silent in the church & ask questions to their husband at home.. because during a church gathering, since women werent educated like men, thw women would probably have a lot of questions to ask so they can understand, so to prevent any prolonged disruption & a lot of questions during the church gathering, The wifes can just wait to ask their husbands rather than interrupting.. so in todays time, since women are educated that part wouldn't apply today.. but the next verse after saying "i suffer not (i dont permit) a woman to teach nor to exercise authority over a man" is not a cultural issue, & Gods word doesn't change based on human culture, we need to be changed by God's word not the other way around.. this goes all the way back to the beginning of time, in the garden, after the 1st sin occurred & the fall of mankind happened, one of the curses that God stated towards the Man, was that the woman would have a desire to rule over man.. women wanting to have authority over a man is a sinful fleshly desire as a result of the fall.. the correct posture of a woman is to be submissive under the Man, & Man submissive to God.. & but i understand if a woman says "well my man is not following God he doesnt treat me right, so why should i submit to him?" Thats a good point & Apostle Peter said in 1 Peter 3 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, 2 when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. 3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward-arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel- 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the [a]incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.

Right Tonya one of the big issues today is that our women the first man i.e womb-man has been taken out of the holy Trinity and replaced with the holy ghost which represents death. what is the word holy mean someone please look that up. Holy in it's purest form or unchanged. Can we truly say the bible is in it's purest form? So read in proverbs 8:22 and it's talking about the woman as wisdom she was here from the very beginning. We have to be careful of the many translations of the bible. Someone look up what the word bible means one definition means "the book" but bi means two and ble does not mean book🤔 so as you can see there is some confusion and according to one of the attributes of God is not being the author of confusion! Now what image was the women and the hermaphrodite created in if man was created in the image and likeness of God?. So now look at what we have when take the S off She you get He so is that a coincidence or what . Time to wake up and think it's not illegal yet!

@@88Terrors you do know the bible has many missing books and the fact that 18 years of JESUS life is missing. So that being said the bible is not a holy book. Just a book written by physical beings that incarnate from time to time. Holy is unchanged in it's purest form really you do know their is a copyright on the bible right? You do know there's there's no record for how long the womb-man today called woman the man with a womb the has been on the planet, and every man walking including Jesus came out of his mothers womb right? Well today some are clones created with sperm mixed with ovum in a lab. Mother Ninti surveyed this planet before the Annunaki which is what she was stepped off a sham that came from Nibiru. Here's some science for you. How do you get a dominant XX chromosome from a man that has an X and Y. The womb-man is the dominant species 2 X's she has the mitochondria DNA she is able to produce offspring with out the man if there are none. The oldest bones that were found here are the bones of Lucy a melenated womb-man. What came before your bible. In the genealogy of ISIS (changed to genesis the narrator talks about the generations of the heaven and earth. So where is this heaven where God supposed to be and who is the Devil today causing all this havoc on the earth? and when is God going to get rid of the Devil? We should at least be able to live in peace with out there always being wars. Why did God even create a devil? How long does God have to test his creation to see what this God has created? Man religion is man made. What religion did God give the people in Genesis seems to me it should have been given in the beginning so we no it wasn't Christianity cause that's Paul's stuff he gave his followers that name according to acts 11: 25. My people have always been spiritual beings religion is one of the main reasons people have problems. You may not see it that way. So here is the reason why are you ready it's simple NOBODY WANTS TO BE WRONG EVERYONE SAYS THERE WAY IS THE RIGHT WAY AT THE END OF THE DAY THERE IS BIG MONEY IN RELIGION MEAN WHILE PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING AND RELIGION DOSEN'T FIX THE PROBLEM THE PEOPLE WHO CARE FOR HUMANITY DOES. GOTTA GO. I Don't have time to get into debates or what ever my time is for working for those in need of what I have to give.

When I listen to Pastor Jennings speak, I think of "cult leader." He attempts to indoctrinate his congregation by always saying "the Bible says this"..."the Bible says that" but if he trusted his congregation, he would not have to repeatedly say this over and over.

Actually, Paul was writing to Timothy specifically about the specific problems at the specific church in Ephesus. You should do a study on the entire book of 1st Timothy including studying the fact that the main problem had to do with poor church leadership and the teaching of false doctrine.

Finally, look at Romans 1:28-32 and look at Galtians 1 re: Fruits of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Jennings commits many of the sins listed in Romans 1:28-32: lack of mercy, gossip, backbiting, debate, pride, arrogance, causes division; and he exhibits none of the fruits of the Holy Spirit including love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness (meek and humble) etc.

Who is a preacher of the word of God?
pastoring definitely includes preaching, teaching publicly, and exercising spiritual authority.
Deborah's role as a judge and prophetess! She was a strong woman of God.Deborah is the only woman who is both prophet and judge alongside two other men in Israel's history - Moses and Samuel. The only woman among the twelve judges in the Old Testament. Her role shows that women weren't always inferior to men since Deborah was called upon by God to deliver Israel. Judges 4 and 5
      Exodus 15:20
20 Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron’s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels and dancing.
      Acts 21:9
9 He had four unmarried daughters who prophesied.

Every church, pastor, preacher are FALSE REPRESENTATIVES OF GOD. They claim God called them and there's absolutely no evidence as we've seen that takes place according to the Bible. They appoint themselves titles with no prophetic or apostolic direct line of authority which is the PRIESTHOOD. They don't have the power and authority at all.
I Testify to you that there is only 1 true church which Jesus himself created and organized and he's the head of it. He called 12 men to be his Apostles. Since their death all was lost. Amos 8:11-12. The Great Apostasy occurred. However, in these last days Jesus's one and only true church have been restored fully with a Living Prophet and 12 Apostles. They operate in unity and Jesus is the head of this church. Seek it out so you would know who God truly called and anointed to be his ordained servants. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is not the author of the 46,000 different churches that teaches different things. Pray about it and let the Holy Spirit guide you to the truth.

Satan and his minions are falsely teaching God's words to the spiritually blind and that's why we have so much confusion with over 40,000 different denominations and over 1,000 different translations of the Bible. God says it's most important who delivers his words. He warned us about false churches, false apostles, false pastors, false prophets and the like. He told us to judge them by their fruits. Paul writes at the end of Romans, “I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a servant of the church at Cenchreae . . .” (Rom. 16:1-2). Phoebe is called a servant, a diakonos, which is the same Greek word used for deacon in 1 Timothy 3 and Philippians 1:1. Read Well Rev. Jennings.

@shanewilliams7507- This is false teachings of the scriptures! Paul is the one who said women should not preach. But Paul had no authority to say this. Jesus was the authority and Jesus never gave any authority to anyone not even the disciples (the word disciple means student) and Jesus never said this! The Christ story actually begins and ends with a woman. Of course the bible would say that. It was written by chauvinist white men who hated women. Funny white women understand this but you primitive black women still don't get it. The woman is the most spiritual being there is, it's the men who are not naturally spiritual. He don't even want to get up and go to church with yo ass on Sunday. She loves going to church because as a woman she has a deeper connection to God and the divine than a man ever will. So her not being able to preach the word is nonsense. You should be questioning what gives him the right as a man to preach the word!

Really? What about women who are not married? When I listen to Pastor Jennings speak, I think of "cult leader." He attempts to indoctrinate his congregation by always saying "the Bible says this"..."the Bible says that" but if he trusted his congregation, he would not have to repeatedly say this over and over.

No women preachers in the words of God?
      1. You gentile people have been drinking intoxicating drinks, causing you to speak without understanding: There is a woman named Anna. She was a prophetess. There were also women who helped Paul preached the Gospel of Christ. Read the scriptures below with open eyes and not closed eyes.
      Luke 2:36
      Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity;
      Philippians 4:3
And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
      2. Read below what Paul said exactly in the words of God which you Gentiles have perverted: “Let YOUR women keep silent in churches.” He was referring to the preachers’ wives. You Christian Gentiles are such hypocrites. You forbid women to preach the words of God, but you Gentile preachers are the ones violating it.
      1 Corinthians 14:44-35
Let YOUR women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church.
      3. Prophecies mean something that will be for the future to come. It is written there will be a woman who will lead all the men on earth in preaching the Gospel of Christ. She is called the daughter of Zion. Lord Jesus testifies of her coming.
      Jeremiah 31:22
How long will you gad about, O you backsliding daughter? For the Lord has created a new thing in the earth- a woman shall encompass a man.”
      Micah 4:13
Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; For I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hooves bronze; You shall beat in pieces many peoples; I will consecrate their gain to the Lord, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.
      Matthew 21:5
Tell the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, lowly, and sitting on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.’
      4. Who do you think the daughter of Zion? She is called the Helper of Christ. As you may know the Book of the Law of Moses, Books of Prophets and Testimony of Christ are connected to each other. They cannot be separated. The Book of Genesis said “helper” is a wife. This mean the Helper whom the Lord Jesus is talking about is His wife. She is called the daughter of Zion. Jeremiah called prophesied the coming of the Bridegroom and the bride. The Holy Father called Them LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. Lord Jesus fulfilled that when He was born. The Book of Prophets spoke about her: She will come in this last day to testify to the truth to save the children of God from perverse teaching of the Gentiles such as you. The Holy Father said whoever speaks against her, then woe to him!
      Isaiah 45:10
Woe to him who says to his father, ‘What are you begetting?’ Or to the woman, ‘What have you brought forth?’ ”
      Jeremiah 23:6
In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
      Jeremiah 33:16
In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.’
      John 14:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
      5. She is the woman in the Book of Revelation who will teach the commandments of God.
      Revelation 12:17
And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
      6. The question is who this dragon? He is satan: He is using perverse gentiles like you as an instrument to fight the bride of the Lord Jesus. Your perversity is that you appointed yourself bride. What is going to happen to you who fight her who came from Mount Zion? Your thought about the coming of the Lord Jesus He will take all you. In truth, He will come down to help His bride fight all you perverse. You know what that meant. He will bring catastrophes on all of you perverse people and sends to Hell. Last question to you, who do you think this woman? She who testify this truth to you is the one.
      Isaiah 29:8
It shall even be as when a hungry man dreams, and look-he eats; But he awakes, and his soul is still empty; Or as when a thirsty man dreams, and look-he drinks; But he awakes, and indeed he is faint, and his soul still craves: So the multitude of all the nations shall be, who fight against Mount Zion.”
      Isaiah 31:4
For thus the Lord has spoken to me: “As a lion roars, and a young lion over his prey (When a multitude of shepherds is summoned against him, He will not be afraid of their voice nor be disturbed by their noise), so the Lord of hosts will come down to fight for Mount Zion and for its hill.
Lord God of hosts, Holy Father
      Lord of hosts, Lord Jesus
      The Spirit and the Bride
Gabriel, an angel of the Lord
      Mount Zion, Heavenly Jerusalem

My Uber driver who just brought me to church is a long time follower of Pastor Jennings and said he has studied under him for years. He just told me that a woman cannot preach because a situation may arise when she needs to baptize someone but she would not be able to do so because she could be on her menstrual cycle and is therefore unclean. When I said the law of Moses in the Old Testament (Leviticus) do not and never applied to Christians. He said he didn't know what I was talking about. He said if you read it in the Bible, it applies. That discussion tells me all I need to know about Pastor Jennings teachings.

@@BRlGADE_KINGPIN Actually, the 10 Commandments were to the Israelites/Jews. Please read Acts 15 where the issue was resolved whether Mosaic Law had to be followed by the Gentiles (non Jews). Does that mean that murder is not a sin and adultery is not a sin; of course not. But as a Christian, the seventh day (Saturday) is not the day of worship for me. Of course, I agree that the greatest sin, the First Commandment (Thou Shalt Not Have Any Other Gods Before Me), the sin of idolatry is the greatest sin. Also read Romans 1 and 2 where the Apostle Paul explains that the Jewish people had the law so they should have known right from wrong, but the Gentiles should have known right from wrong even though they did not have the Jewish law because God placed it on their heart.

What you're doing is being contradictive. As this scripture is from 1st Corinthians NEW Testament which is what you refer to as "Grace". And secondly according to comment, " if it was up to him you wouldn't know the word"???
That's out of order within itself. Because why would you marry a man voluntarily that would not allow you to seek your own personal relationship with Jesus Christ???
But hey I'm just a follower of Christ and we're all on the same journey to him through his will God bless you and be safe.

Wow I absolutely, agree totally with you Pastor Gino because these verses are found in the Holy Scriptures, which is the Word of GOD the truth. And this was a great video as well. These next verses shows where women should NOT be preachers or teach in the churches of GOD at all. 1 Timothy 2:12-15 King James Version 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1 Corinthians 14:34-35 King James Version
34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. May the Lord bless you. Amen

When I listen to Pastor Jennings speak, I think of "cult leader." He attempts to indoctrinate his congregation by always saying "the Bible says this"..."the Bible says that" but if he trusted his congregation, he would not have to repeatedly say this over and over.

You Gentiles are in need to read the words of God with understanding:
No women preachers in the words of God?
      1. You gentile people have been drinking intoxicating drinks, causing you to speak without understanding: There is a woman named Anna. She was a prophetess. There were also women who helped Paul preached the Gospel of Christ. Read the scriptures below with open eyes and not closed eyes.
      Luke 2:36
      Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity;

When I listen to Pastor Jennings speak, I think of "cult leader." He attempts to indoctrinate his congregation by always saying "the Bible says this"..."the Bible says that" but if he trusted his congregation, he would not have to repeatedly say this over and over.

What is the source of what you believe ? Did it come from God or did it come from your feelings ?
Men don’t want to submit to God so they find reasons not to. Women don’t want to submit to men so they find reasons not to.None of these reasons come from Heaven, but from a man’s twisted logic and a woman’s ever changing feelings, and from hell. The devil is keeping his promise to Eve. You will be like God. Women today arecSTaiLL eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and men are still beguiled by her. When I listen to Pastor Jennings speak, I think of "cult leader." He attempts to indoctrinate his congregation by always saying "the Bible says this"..."the Bible says that" but if he trusted his congregation, he would not have to repeatedly say this over and over.
