Nothing beats prep. My neighborhood was tested last July and I have a few measures ready for a repeat

On the plus side, moving all those sandbags is keeping Kim in great shape.
    Looking good Kim!

Is it worth it? They’re going to have to do this every year.

Dig a bunch of ditches to sequester that water. It's a valuable commodity in the desert

What amazes me is that communities are able to build in these long term flood zones........ Phoenix is now riddle with subdivisions in those ancient flood plains.......hilarious...I have no empathy for stupidity ....history repeating itself

That a stupid solution, a waste of money, will be used irresponsibly and does nothing to address the need to slow the water starting higher up in the washes.

They could reuse the sand n get empty bags to fill the sand that's already there. Just a thought.
