Wildfire burn scars across northern Arizona have created a major flooding danger in the area, and it’s something Flagstaff residents are all too familiar with.

Not one of us not getting flooded is complaining about the rain. And I didn't hear any of the people on the video complain about the rain, just the fact that they were now in flood zones because of the fires.
@@heidibrown2357 Flagstaff has been on fire every summer as long as I can remember, for the past 50 years. Some fires caused by idiots, some arson, some lightning, some from cigarettes. Now with so many homeless the forests around Flagstaff full of vagrants in tents with campfires, I've seen them while hiking. Fires are expected every year for decades , Flagstaff hasn't prepared still for the consequences for floods.
I'm in Sedona, I got flood insurance in place before I moved in my house. I never had to use it but insurance is for "what if." These Flagstaff neighborhoods will never be able to sell those houses. Could they put up cement barriers at the base of the mountain that the flood water comes from and channel it down a large wash? Maybe too much building there to dig a wash. Maybe have to jack the properties up on stilts like in Louisiana. Flagstaff has been on fire every summer the past 50 years that I can recall.
Live in PHX we haven't got shot but a drop in the last week yesterday I saw clouds up north out east and some nw us here in Phoenix haven't had anything but our pools destroyed by wind and dust I need some rain dude
You pay for flood insurance if you ask for it, that guy didn’t have flood insurance cus HE didn’t want it till it was too late. Of course it’s a flood area the sign says it Lmfaoo he could’ve always added flood insurance that’s on him.
you can't just go buy flood insurance. You have to prove you're in a flood zone. And unless the government deems it a flood zone, you have a REALLY hard time getting flood insurance, which is probably why the insurance company wouldn't get back to him.
Those storms should have been taken care of but during the pandemic the states did not maintain any water canals drainage ditches or Flood channels., Most states did not maintain their infrastructure and kept the money to buy the Democrat vote
Complain about not getting rain and when they do, more complaints.
