  • Hi. Today i want to show you a simple tip to connect near any mopping robot with automatic base station, to your home's piping system, to automatically empty the dirt water tank and fill the clean water reservoir.
This is not a tutorial, it's only a video to show you what you can do using some extra hardware.
While the clean water refill is easy to do, the dirt water tank is a little tricky, because you must ensure that no external air is going into the tank, because the whole dirt water system works with vacuum.
I've used two DIN Rail pclik modules, to control anything + some water sensors connected to it.
As soon as the clean water level in the tank falls below the sensors, the pclik opens the valve an fill in the water. It automatically stops as soon as the water sensors are again submerged.
The dirt water tank system works the same. As soon as the water sensors detect water in the tank, the other pclik starts the pump that picks up the dirt water and put it in the sawage wall pipe.
    Feel free to ask anything.
I home you enjoy the video.

First of all, GREAT job! I was wondering how you keep the vacuum if you have a discharge tube to the discharge? do you use a single way / check valve?

Hi Sam. Yes!! A single way valve, for about 5 Euro on Amazon! Thank you for pointing me out this thing, i forgot to mention!
