They were all beautiful cuts! My favorite would have ro be the blue tigers eye! So beautiful! And then the gold! Lol! Both were outstanding though, and all the cuts were awesome! And that is so wonderful that you were asked to so the Billings show this year! Thats just amazing! And im so happy for you! I wish i could go but montana is a little far from oregon! But i will be cheering you on in my thoughts! Thanks Theo, for the awesome slabing video!
I loved this one. Cut, cut, cut. The TP Canyon with the red in the center, the best. They wete all beautiful. I think it's time for a 5 minute epoxy on your arsenal. Keep having fun!🎉 Be happy, safe and stay healthy! 😷⚒
Awesome pieces! I really liked the iris with all the "sections", and also the blue tigereye-both my favs. Congrats on being invited to have a booth at the show! I likely won't make it, but if I do, I'll be sure to go see your booth! Thanks for sharing these great rocks!
Hey thanks! I didn't realize that blue tiger eye was naturally blue. I thought it was dyed! Beautiful cuts. My in-laws are in Billings, wish I was there visiting during the show! Enjoy
Oh those are all spectacular! Gorgeous banding on the agates❤ Love the blue and gold tigers eye! Another video well done! I wish I could make it to the show but just not possible. I wish you a successful event, though.
I had not heard of blue tigers eye for years, I bought a chunk about 50 years ago and never did cut it. I seem to remember having some red tigers eye from the same time also, no idea where it is, although I suspect it was dyed. I do not do lapidary work any more but I kept many of my stones. I watch your videos for the fun nostalgia it brings.
I love them all but that blue tiger's eye took my breath away! I have a slab that I bought at a rock and gem show last year that I am now sure is Teepee Canyon agate. I wasn't sure till watching this video but it looks like a positive I.D. Thanks Theo!
I love the tiger eye. It has always been a favorite. I am not sure if I have ever heard of blue tiger eye. Oh I would love to go to the Billings show. Thanks for sharing
Everything was so beautiful. I have never seen blue tiger eye. That was cool. Can't wait to see what's next. Congratulations on running a booth at the rock show. You are definitely someone I would love to meet someday.
* The Tiger Eye had so much chatoyancy I could have looked at it all day..I like Tiger Eye, but that is so much more Lovely than small ring-sized pieces.... I'd love to see that as a necklace pendant..
Yess, very beutiful blue Tigereyeand the yellow-brown ones, those I have seen earlier, but never seen blue ones, that was fun to see. Was that Agatslab really that blue that you showed for a while, I think with a light behind it, it does not look blueish without a flashlight?? and that Teepee-agat with that pinkish was beutiful.
With the rainbow - since typically the layers are mostly uniform - you can cut with the later and work down. That's what a lot of carvers to to make hearts or clovers from the layers. OR like you said, cut at an angle somewhere in the 40 some odd degree to expose as many layers as possible :)
Nice rocks Theo. I have a request. Could you do a video on positioning and cutting tiger eye, labradorite, and rainbow obsidian to get the chatoyancy right. I've tried to cut labradorite in the past and was disappointed in the results. Don't know if, the labradorite was poor quality or I cut it wrong. The tiger eye cabs I made showed chatoyance when viewed from an angle but less so when viewed from directly overhead.
That is a great idea for a video! I love Labradorite and tiger eye but they both can be super touchy, if you dont cut on the color plain just perfectly you end up having to tilt the rock to get the flash. Im about to make a big order of labradorite so ill make sure to make that video as soon as it gets here!
Suchcan beautiful rocks💕.im so mesmerized(i know this is wronly spelled, but cant figure whats the right way to write it😂.hope u understand it) of those rocks...all of them💕

Anyways I have this rock that I saw at the motel where my dad was staying and it has the finest pockets of geodesic and tiny fossils. I would love to send you a picture just to get an idea of what you think I am pretty sure it's an agate maybe blue. Which is super funny I didn't even notice the blue banding in the rock I was just excited it had all the other stuff I liked. But yeah if you have any suggestions or could take a look at it for me. I would be crazy happy

I really like the green Montana and the with the dendrites. 👍🏻🇺🇲
The Teepee Canyon agate was my favorite!
The banded one at 13:00 looks like a white flame on the remainder of the rock! Beautiful 👀 👍
I loved the iris agate best, but they were all beautiful ❣️
Love the tiger eyes and the score agate!
Nice cuts Theo, with obsidian, especially rainbow, is to go 12-15% angle from parallel... That gathers all the colors...👌
Oh those are all spectacular! Gorgeous banding on the agates❤ Love the blue and gold tigers eye! Another video well done! I wish I could make it to the show but just not possible. I wish you a successful event, though.

I couldn't pick just one, they were all amazing.
Live stream your time at the Billings show please.
Couldn't help but notice the wooden handle at the top left of the video frame. Is that a copper bopper, you picked up flint knapping by chance?
WwowW
That tiger eye is gorgeous! Do you find that in Montana? 😊
What kind of slab saw do you use/recommend? I currently have a little tile saw but I’m thinking about upgrading!
