Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: I love your slabbing video. Congrats on the new saw. Makes me miss my lapidary shop. Nothing like the smell of a rock shop!
Your enthusiasm for every rock you cut, is so infectious! And i must say Thank You to Kyle at World of Rockhounds for the awesome thundereggs and geode nodules! that iris one is the obvious favorite but i agree with you that hampton butte green is fantastic! But they were all just kind of amazing! I love cutting rocks because you never know what's inside. Gorgeous beauty that only rocks and minerals can possess. Thank you for sharing Theo and have fun in Florida!
Have to say, love your videos always! Just want to put an idea in your head. Something I always wanted to do is use the best of the slabs and make a lampshade. It would be hard because rocks are heavier than glass, but if anyone could do it, you are the one!!
I do love how the Botswana looked like topography maps, you are right, very cool! And the tumbler is music to my ears haha. I haven’t been running mine in months. Tiny apartment. My neighbors can hear it haha
Isn't a lure something you use for fishing?? If that's made of stone wouldn't it sink?? Sorry for the questions forgive my ignorance I obviously know very little about lures or fishing but I thought lures were made of feathers and such...
Oh man, this was so much fun!! 6:29 talk about a beautiful picture agate, loved the green petrified wood and the geode, they were all so pretty! So happy you finally got the saw! Thanks Theo!👍👍👍
6:33 it’s amazing. I love how much it looks like the beacon hill ones we got! Wow it’s just so pretty! I think I have a few more I need to cut that have been tucked away for a couple years now 😅. Good stuff man. That iris was just great!
What fun! It’s always good to see what’s inside interesting rocks. Maybe with the new saw you will cut the odd arizona rocks that I sent to you. Hopefully they aren’t duds. Keep up the adventure.
Yay yay yay, slabs slabs slabs, so happy what a wonderfull video!! I bought 3 slabs 40 years ago and I'm hoping I can afford to buy one of yours because I love your videos and it would be so cool to have one of your or Alexa's from maybe one of the ones I've seen yous find by the river with the doggos very exciting 😍😍😍
I just LOVE your enthusiasm, it has hooked me into revisiting my home state of Montana when I was a little girl. I so want to get a slab saw too, as well as a lapidary machine of some sort. I can't wait to see some slabs on your store soon. Rock on! LOL!
Hey, just dropping by the comments because I recognized those two “mystery Geodes” are absolutely Beacon Hill, (wieser, Idaho) Very distinctive. Cool video, great cuts!
Wow, they all turned out gorgeous! Tough choice but my fave would have to be the Washington agate with the cool fairy cavern! Yay, new Florida videos soon! Thanks for sharing the awesomeness Theo!
Hey Theo. You know Tiffany lamps? ....those slabs would make beautiful lampshades....oooh..... I just always wanna stick a light behind something like this permanently. Excellent video as always. Thank you for your efforts :)
I have cut a fair amount of Mexican lace agate, and it's gorgeous stuff, but I've always acquired it as slabs. I didn't realize how sculptural the exterior was! It looks almost like icing swirled on a cake!
I could watch all day! Thanks. The Botswana was my fav…..it looks like wood. I have never seen a whole Brazilian agate…only slabs. Is there something you want to cut, but don’t have? Thanks.
Yup! Totally are! Had to look those up but that is definitely what they are. My friend who gave them to me said he didnt know what they were specifically, just that they were from an estate sale he acquired with a bunch of washington and oregon rocks so we both just assumed they were either from washington or oregon. But you are totally correct those are definitely beacon hill agates after looking them up. I had not heard of them before
I have questions about your saw. What thickness range are you able to slice the slabs into? What is the largest rock size to fit the set up for slabbing? Do you have a link for the machine by chance? TY!
I don't know if this might be something you'd be interested in doing on your other channel. But my mom had a geode when I was a kid that had little figures painted on apple seeds that were glued inside the geode to make it look like they were people spelunking inside a crystal cave I always thought that was really cute.
I'm not the smartest about buying things online because I hardly ever do it so what is the website called to purchase your products?? I live in Ireland so do you send stuff there?? Is there a minimum requirement for purchasing?? Sorry about all the questions I know you are a busy man but I hope you'll be able to help me

So many cool specimens, but that Botswana agate was amazing! Also really loved the Washington agate geode and thunderegg. 🥰

I like moss but I really like that last rock that you did it look like spinach dip to me inside. LOL 👀 👍🏻🇺🇲
I could watch all day! Thanks. The Botswana was my fav…..it looks like wood. I have never seen a whole Brazilian agate…only slabs. Is there something you want to cut, but don’t have? Thanks.

Theo....I think you have Beacon Hill thundereggs for those WA rocks.

that Washington agate kinda looks like storm surge over the rocks.
Mantap my friend im from Indonesian
What is the best way to utilize Iris Agate, to take advantage of it's unique qualities?
I don't know if this might be something you'd be interested in doing on your other channel. But my mom had a geode when I was a kid that had little figures painted on apple seeds that were glued inside the geode to make it look like they were people spelunking inside a crystal cave I always thought that was really cute.
What parts of the rock are the "fortifications"?
@8:12 Whhhhhhhaaaaaaattttttttttt?!?!?!?
Theo....I think you have some Beacon Hill thunder eggs for the WA rocks you were checking on. I have some very similar.
Honey that third one is a rare one moss.agate minute mark 6:01 Kyle rock.
At 1607. Looks like a lady standing on a hill. Is that picture agate?
