It is painfully obvious that Kirton-McConkie and its associates need to be thoroughly investigated by non mormon affiliates for legal malpractice.

Corrupt, is the adequate word that best describes the lawyers of Kirton & McConkie. Their pattern of operation is to conceal their wrongs and silence those who would expose them. Kirton & McConkie lawyers are simply no good.

Thank you so much for exposing the perpetrators in this unholy alliance of a fake judicial system! Your show will highlight what the groups, “religious” institutions, stacked and corrupt legal systems will do for power and influence.
We have to stay true to ourselves and our God for everyone has to answer to Him in the end! No one gets a free pass so those who harm others…especially children per Jesus will not escape the wrath of God!

Praise for Lorraine for not turning a blind eye and a deaf ear to her daughter's abuse. She did what was right - making her husband accountable for his actions and choices, regardless how it would effect her life. Far too often these stories are of a spouse not doing anything.

Yes. Either they are too afraid or don’t care. I hope that most of us would believe our child, and do-and so the story isn’t told unless they are able to press charges or because the guilty party seeks revenge, and harms them.

I live in Salt lake and have since I was 15 (I’m 37) and have never felt part of the “club” because I’m not Mormon. It wasn’t until this channel that I understood the church and why LDS people act the way they do in this State. I have met some of the most talented, educated, accomplished people here yet those same people seemed absolutely brainwashed to a point of concern. Not enough people know how toxic the church can be and I am so glad for this channel and for these ladies and all others that are speaking up.

Mormons are taught that all their ethical judgments must flow from the religion as a starting point. They don't necessarily word it exactly that way, but that seems to be the overall message. I was raised as a Mormon, but never entirely believed in it. They really hijack the conscience. I tried to resist that, and my parents' response was escalating punishments, debilitating drugs, lies to me and about me, anything to destroy my life and make me into a warning example for "being so sick that I was choosing the wrong intentionally" or something like that while keeping the image and reputation of the family and the church clean. They really go all in.

So she accepted a pay raise and a bigger office at the cost of her soul. The prosecutor working with the dental patient was working to protect the church over protecting his client. That money is nothing to the Mormon church, and knowing their situation it's sickening that they used it to shut them up. I'm so grateful Chelsea and Lorraine are brave enough to speak up. They might save a lot of children, because this man won't stop unless he's locked up for good. I hope a lot of people in and outside the church will see this. If the church (or the people in power now) defend people like that, they are just as guilty of CSA or at least facilitate those crimes. I'm horrified at the idea of the amount of stories that will come out when more people find the courage to speak up.

Growing up, my aunt kept sweet figurines of a pair of angels in a prominent place on her living room shelves. They were both female-one with flowing raven curls and the other, a crown of blonde waves. As I child, they entranced me.
Today, I’m no longer religious (I experienced sexual abuse at the hands of a pastor in the Southern Baptist church), but listening to these beautiful, courageous women, I see those two angels: bright souls with a powerful purpose, shining light into the dark. May these brave women always be protected against the powerful and wicked, may they find true healing and justice, and may their truth continue to be heard. Finally, may their hard work and personal sacrifice to protect other young children have further reaching impact than they can ever know. JESUS LUVS!!! GOD IN JESUS NAME DOES NOT WANT US TO BE religious (that's what the scribes and pharasies were in The Bible). GOD IN JESUS NAME WANTS A ONE ON ONE RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM THROUGH JESUS! THIS IS WHY WE HAVE TO SEEK A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM OURSELVES NOT JUST GO BY WHAT ANYONE SAYS NO MATTER HOW HOLY WE THINK THEY ARE! I HAD A PASTOR THAT PLAINLY TOLD US TO NOT TAKE HIS WORD FOR IT BECAUSE HE IS human and capable of mistakes! That SAME PASTOR TOLD US TO SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES (BIBLE) PRAY AND SEEK GOD THROUGH JESUS FOR OURSELVES. IF someone tell you not to STUDY FOR YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU MIGHT NOT UNDERSTAND RUN RUN RUN!!! CHRISTIANITY IS A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH JESUS! NOT religious through works! My PRAYERS IN JESUS NAME IS THAT WE ALL TURN OUR HEARTS TOWARDS JESUS and not let this turn us away from SEEKING HIM!!! satan is using all this to turn so many away from CHRIST AND The Church but the BIBLE CLEARLY STATES THAT THE CHURCH IS NOT A BUILDING OR A DENOMINATION, WE AS CHRISTIANS ARE THE CHURCH!!! IM SO THANKFUL TO GOD IN JESUS NAME THAT when simular events happened to me GOD USED IT FOR HIS GLORY AND NEVER LET MY HEART GET BITTER OVER TOWARDS THE CHURCH AND MOST OF ALL GOD IN JESUS NAME. I'm not saying it didn't have horrible effects in me from doorways being open for the enemy to come and oppress my mind BUT GOD! WE ARE MADE OVERCOMERS BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB AND THE WORD OF OUR TESTIMONY REVALATION 12:11 Kjv. IN CHRIST ALL THINGS ARE MADE NEW WE ARE NEW CREATURES IN CHRIST JESUS 2Cor. 5 Verses 14 to 21 Kjv.
When I was 10 or 11 yrs.old we moved to a neighborhood where I met my best friend of my childhood and started staying over alot and her at my house. I had also started going to Church Services with them very often Thank God IN JESUS NAME IT JUST HAPPENED TO BE A SPIRIT FIELD CHURCH. This family that I felt like I was part of and was treated as I was part of them consisted of dad,mom,5 children, many cousins that frequently visited and me. I even went on long trips to visit other family members with them and the Grandmother actually came to live at our home because we has room at the time and they had a full house. The mother was an amazing cook and I tried to visit close to supper lol! But with all that. I remember clearly we were getting ready for evening Church Services on a Sunday evening. I had common clothes on for the time, a shirt and a skirt that came to my knees when I sat down. I headed to the living room sat on the love seat and was waiting for the rest of the crew. The next thing that happened was my best friend's dad came in the living room knelt down in front of me and put his hand up my skirt a went between my legs. I can't tell you how I felt because my mind didn't know how to process that at all. I guess it was just my survival instinct that got up when he left the room and immediately put shorts on under my skirt and for some reason I went and sat back in the same spot! It was like dejavo, he came back in the living room knelt down infront of me and did the same thing again and looked like a confused puppy when he realized I had shorts on this time and immediately left. After the first time many many more situations happened to fondling me in the van on the way to Church Services because we were so crowded in the van that all he had to do was cross his arms and cop a feel, to I would be sleeping right beside my best friend and he would come in the dark room before we got up for school pull his penis out and put it in my hand while I acted like I was asleep because I was 10/11 and did not know how to react. BUT DURING ALL THIS I FELT GOD DRAWING ME TO HIM THROUGH SALVATION IN JESUS AND I ANSWERED THAT CALL AND GOT SAVED AND ACCEPTED JESUS THROUGH ALL THIS! IF IT WASN'T FOR GOD IN JESUS NAME I DON'T KNOW WHAT I would have become just because of this! BUT I KNOW GOD HAS A PLAN THROUGH JESUS FOR ME AND WILL ULTIMATELY GET GLORY EVEN THO satan meant this for my destruction. so much more happened that is so unbelievable during this time even stuff I found out when I was grown but I just thus is just a summary of MY TESTIMONY and yes I PRAY IN JESUS NAME THAT this man that did this to me ACCEPTED or ACCEPTS JESUS AND GETS FORGIVENESS BECAUSE GOD WILLS NONE TO PERISH AND hell is eternal and hot and eternal separation from GOD!!! We will live somewhere forever either HEAVEN WITH JESUS OR hell were whoever goes there will also have an eternal body and be in torments and burn forever but if WE CHOOSE TO ACCEPT JESUS WE WILL LIVE ETERNALLY IN GLORY WITH GOD! JUST SEEK GOD THROUGH JESUS, THE BIBLE, AND PRAYING FOR OURSELVES ASK HIM FOR GUIDANCE AND HE WILL REVEAL HIS SELF TO YOU AND GUIDE YOU THAT'S HOW MUCH THE REAL TRUE GOD LUVS US THROUGH JESUS AMEN!!! BE BLESSED!!!

I can't believe the ethics violations these lawyers committed. So much arrogance, manipulation, lying, sand bagging. Just like the Catholic Church. As ex-Cath, when it all popped in 2010, I left, never looked back. The re-victimization by authorities is the real crime. That female prosecutor should have been reported to the Bar for malpractice. Living in Utah the past 30 years, after being a teacher and social worker and seeing the extent of the CSA here, I've been waiting for the "Boston Globe/Spotlight moment." I think we're closer, especially with courageous and strong women such as all of you! The world is a mess and guess who's run it all along. SLC has powerful tentacles all over Idaho. It's incredible the extent they went to in order to avoid justice for Chelsea and her Mom. Lorraine, you're so right about the "justice" system. People of color could have told us that long ago. I am so sorry you're among so many other victims of the Mormon cult, then to be terrorized by the protected perpetrator. (Witness tampering/terrorist threats.) I wondered how he was able to keep his license to practice. But there are LDS on the dental board there as well. Your sister/daughter should be investigated by CPS for child endangerment.
It's past time for passage of the ERA and women to take more power. BTW, my father was a children's dentist, loved by all. Then he'd come home from work and violently beat me. No one would have ever believed me. Dentists have the highest suicide rate.
You both were failed by every facet of the system, but you've emerged the winners. You're strong, you're helping countless others and your horrific experiences will contribute to the whole of exposing the LDS church and bringing about the Big Pop when it all explodes. "Being honest may not get you a lot of friends, but it'll always get you the right ones." John Lennon

They are deeply involved in the troubled teen industry as well as the poverty industry. Both to which abuse is endemic. What a lot Mormons and people don’t seem to know is that violence has been utilized by the Church since Joseph Smith, historically speaking. In fact, Smith was a felon and very likely a murder who fled many states until there was enough Mormon niche in his area to insulate himself from his crimes.
He used a type of gerrymandering essentially to physically and politically insulate himself from frustrated state and federal governments. In fact, up into the 90’s it was well documented that many members used blood oaths and oaths of vengeance for their “plight” against the governments. Some Prophets have promised to help take over the US government with the help of Native Americans.

How could they not? The same men that run in the high circles of the church are also the same men that run in high business and political circles. So even if someone isn't LDS, they're likely to be involved with LDS people. And considering how much money the church has, it's not hard to imagine how much influence they have. Sometimes, that intuitive feeling you get is your subconscious putting the right clues together.

You have no idea. Read the book Paper Dolls about the alleged abuse by Pres Nelson's daughter, Brenda Miles and her husband, Richard Miles with children in their ward. Because Russell Nelson was a new apostle then in the 80's, the church snuffed it as did law enforcement. The lawsuit was brought again in 2018. Snuffed again. Choosing to believe and fight for her daughter meant throwing her entire life away. I never told my mom about my dad abusing me because I know she would never believe me. She'd tell me that I'm crazy and lying so she could continue living a comfortable lie because throwing me away is easier than risking losing everything. Lorriane (and Shelise's mom) chose to face reality and stand by Chelsea's side, even at the cost of abandoning her entire life. Wow! That brought me to tears. Lorraine is such a wonderful mother. She listened to and believed her daughter, and went to battle with her.
Chelsea is the voice for the abused, who was determined to get justice.
Abuse in the Catholic church began to be exposed by newspapers. Radio and TV stations soon followed. It became a worldwide issue. In Ireland, Cardinals, Bishops, and Priests began taking action, whereas the US churches were very slow to action.
Our church invited parents to special meetings to discuss the best way forward in finding out if any child was abused there. Hundreds attended. First thing was to advise parents to speak to their children and find out if any were abused. I remember my mother speaking to us, using age appropriate words. We were fine.
New rules were rolled out whereby clergy would never be alone with a child. A woman's committee addressed this issue and formed a group. This was to safeguard children and clergy.
Finally, the Pope made a television statement to be translated and seen in every country that had a Catholic presence. He apologised sincerely and told of measures he was about to put in place.
In time, many clergymen were arrested and charged. They were excommunicated and tried. Most got prison sentences.
Why can't the Prophet of the LDS church do likewise? The longer this is in the headlines, the worse it will become. He should abolish the meetings of individual bishops and all men. Boys, girls, and older youth should be accompanied by a carer, preferably a woman.
They are protecting the image of the church? Bullcrap. They are protecting the money.
This won't end well. The current leaders are spineless and self-serving. They are too old and totally out of touch with reality. Following the A.P. article, I see a Netflix docuseries on the future, if the church doesn't act. They are haemorrhaging members around the world, but don't want U.S. members to know that. They can't attract sufficient young men and women to serve missions. They should pay for those sent on a mission. It isn't doing service. Missionaries are expected to find people to convert. Imagine taking on new employees at a car dealership and telling them they must pay thousands for the privledge. Nonsense!

Do you know the Vatican is the “Head of the Serpent,” so to speak, when it comes to a Worldwide child sex trafficking operation, holding Satanic sacrifice rituals under the Vatican where They have a tunnel system which goes all the way to Jersusalem in one direction and to Brussels, Belgium or Switzerland in the other direction. Mother Theresa supplied a lot of children during her sick lifetime to the Vatican, and every Monarch in Europe participates (or use to participate before they were all rounded up) in this dirty little secret. The Jesuits are and have always been Satan worshippers. Either the Vatican organized & created the Illuminati or the Illuminati created the Vatican. I don’t know which was first. The Clinton Foundation, Oprah Winfrey & many other high profile people (A-list actors, directors, producers) are involved in the kidnap, transport & care or neglect, as the case may be, usually getting away with it during disasters, earthquakes, hurricanes (remember Katrina?). Tunnel Systems are worldwide and children are kept in cages. There were even children kept under the Whitehouse during some administrations. I understand this has gone on for decades, before Epstein Island, Hugh Hefner (playboy Magazine) was supplying children, & babies. I know children were taken by bus loads at the Maui fire. Oprah was there.

I told him to just forget it, that i would just move away. He said that it was too late, that it was now a federal case and that I would need to give him my new address. I was 19 yrs old at this time and told him that he could drag me to court if he wanted to, but that he could not make me talk. Why, I asked, would I say anything, if no one will believe me. My entire life I’ve had church leaders say that having any relations outside of marriage is a sin next to murder, I’m wondering where on the radar screen of sin does this type of abuse show up. How these abuses are considered a moderate sin by church leaders when they are clearly criminal acts just blows me away. When these cases are brought to light it puts the entire upper church leadership, their revelation, inspiration and discernment on real shaky ground hence the cover up.

I am truly dialed into this because it’s no coincidence that the Catholic Church lobbied with the Mormon church to protect the legal rights for the confessional it’s really pathetic.
There are so many common themes between the two religions and practices and the types of self protective hierarchies and the very good people within the communities and yet the abuse of structure that governs it and its practices are so similar.
We raised our children in the Regnum Christie Legion of Christ schools and the founder of that organization was found to be an abusive pedophile and he was bringing the most priest into the Catholic church for years and yet held up in such a beacon of good and protected by the church and it’s hierarchy and of course someone had to die for that to change. But there anything really change?
The children and the families and so often the women that are hurt by all of these is incredibly sad to watch and the similarities between the two structures at some point drive home that yes we were in a cult Community. My love for so many of these people in the community doesn’t change but my awareness of the structures that allow the abuse and enable the abuse has changed dramatically I no longer hold it up is good it’s not good. The legalism and the laws that protect these major players and enable them to be this is not good.
I’m not going to lie it did take studying other religions that the Catholic Church considered were false and cults that the patterns were so obvious that it opened my eyes. Listening to the stories it really drives home just how similar… different yet similar.
Distance helps. It’s very difficult to be in it at the time and see it but once, for whatever reason, you stepped outside just a little bit and someone starts to show you through other means maybe even in their criticism of your own religion, you start to question and questioning is actually a good thing not a bad thing and yet the structures don’t want you to question anything. And that should be the first warning red flag. Unquestioning obedience… it just isn’t good

Cults are grown by people with no backbone. They thrive by people that do nothing to be help themselves and believing that they are taken care of by allowing false leaders to take charge of their lives.
We create cults by being wimps. We allow this kind of behavior by looking the other way. Control is their tactic.
I see comments saying. I'm so sorry, I'm angry, ...etc.
We need to say....I am sick of this and will do, stand up and open our mouths to stop them....even our own relatives. Being slapped, hit, kicked, bullied, shunned, lies, shamed hurts but, you will get up and looked them in the eye.
First hit hurts then, the second hit doesn't hurt. You survive by not being scared.

It says a lot about how bad the LDS church is behaving that they did their damnedest to stomp down people, including the bishop, whose first impulses were to do the right thing.

If a "bishop" in the LDS has to look over his shoulder, fears for his own life in trying to do the right thing, then he is a bishop in the wrong church that protects pedophiles among their leadership. Resign, excommunicate himself and GTFO of that state. That's like that butcher dictator Putin killing dissidents and journalists.

Courage is not the absence of fear, it is feeling the fear, facing it and doing what needs to be done anyway. Bravo Lorraine. Chelsea the same applies to you. Remember while you are doing everything you can to save children. You are also exemplary in showing how someone can turn the worst situation to not only survive but become such a warrior. Is it possible to have the bar association look at the credentials trials of the person who dropped the charges. She should be examined for how she is working. Maybe federally. Do not know the system in America as I am European.

I don't believe ANY religious organization should "handle"abuse aligations. They should be required to report any and all aligations to the proper law enforcement organizations for THEM to handle, and be required to fully cooperate with the law. Perpatraitors of abuse against another person or child should not be protected. They should be fully investigated and tried in a court of law.
