Great video! Have you done a new Ram sport hood before with the plastic vent pieces? I’ve got a 2022 Ram 1500 Night Edition with that hood and would love to see a video of how it’s done!
Did this hood yesterday and ALMOST messed it all up by releasing the tension too early. Regardless, it’s installed and looking great! Thanks for the tips!! Now to try bulking that front bumper.
@@DriveProtected I specialize in HL restoration and offer ppf as an option after a restore or as a preventative service. I noticed it can take some extra effort on some lights that are still clear.
You always make the install look so easy Eric. Great job 👏. I would like to see you install 24” on these hood.
🙏🙏🙏 if I get one in for a 24” I’ll make a video of it!

Best of luck!!
@@DriveProtected it went mostly well. Had issues getting tension on the bottom not sure how you made that look so easy.
Thanks for making that video, I have the same truck and I just can’t get the hood down.
60 inch role will work on most pick up trucks? Have a 2022 GMC at4 coming in two months. Not used to pick up truck sizes lol
Yup. 60” will work on 99% of trucks. I’ve done many AT4s, and I believe they are about 52” long, so a 60” roll will be perfect.
@@DriveProtected got it. Thank you very much for commenting back. Much appreciated!!
Legend! Heaps of awesome pointers! Much appreciated! 🤟👏

I have a question, do you have a video where you show how to finish the edges?
Link in description!
I heard you mention the film doesn't stick to lights. Do you have any idea why?
Most headlights these days come with some kind of factory coating on them that prevents the film from sticking.

@@DriveProtected its almost as though the factory uv coating has hydrophobic properties like a ceramic coating.
