easy mode for tmartn: gtx 690 = 2x gtx 680 in one card. The gtx 780ti is way better than a single 680 but not as good versus two of them. Therefor the 690 was deff way more expensive, don't get a new gpu. the 780 ti is already one of the best single gpu out there!

Tmartn, gtx 780ti has 3gv effective memory while gtx 690 has 4gb but it can use only 2gb which makes gtx 780ti better for higher resolutions. Also gtx 690 is dual gpu and some games doesn't support dual gpus (ghosts doesn't) So if you play games that doesn't support dual gpus, you are just using underclocked gtx 680. I highly recomend you to use gtx 780ti. (Sorry for bad english btw)
But he doesn't play PC only console so he just has the 690 for editing, he doesn't need the 780ti.

I really want to know what software your running for editing videos. I just got my elgato capture card recently and am using the software it comes with, but not doing voice over and face cam at this stage, still working out how to mesh it all together.
780ti is better then the 690 and the titans all three of them are just a worst of money unless you do alot of compute work
Nope, the 690 is better than the 780ti. A 690 is two gtx 680's and has 4 Gb's of VRAM compared to the 780ti's 3 gbs of VRAM.
Vram doesn't make much difference unless your running more than one moniter
HowDoULikeMyName You don't get the full 4gb in usage as it is 2gb per gpu whereas the 780ti has 3gb per gpu and a higher memory bandwidth. But in saying all this the 780ti is newer and you could just get a second one put it in sli and you would have a killer setup.
Just get like R9 295X and Crossfire them
I would prefer a single 780 Ti over one 690. I understand that the 690 has more processing power, but it isn't by a lot and I'd prefer to not deal with SLI on the 690.

I have the same Nighthawk. Got rid of Netfear's horrible firmware and use DD-WRT. Easy to flash and 1000% better. Plus the QoS is now much more functional and you can throttle on-the-fly without having to reboot the router.

tmartn when you recorded the watch_dogs lets play did you live stream it or just recorded it cause u got an elgato and your lets play are synced with audio but when i record with out live streaming the audio will be out of sync sometimes

What is a good headset to use for recording? I don't have my own place or room so I can't get a mic and a stand so I need a good head set.
You have a line 6 ux2! It's an audio interface that is used for recording guitar and vocals. I have one that I use to connect my guitar with, but it's weird you have one just to talk with lol. Great interface either way.

Hay Tmartn the GTX 690 has 2 graphic processing units (GPU) in it. Where the rest of the graphics like the gtx 780 ti only has one. The down fall to have two GPU's in one graphics card is that you can't do a 4-way SLI configuration. Which is 4 cards connected to each other. The gtx 690 can only do a 2-way SLI.
