Thanks, Alan, how can I get hold of someone to do this connection and programming for me. I have the components but not many installers have the necessary experience.
Read the documents provided by victron. Though you could do the DC connection by yourself and even the programming(not literally, as these are settings which is done as per your needs) using the cerbo-gx, I would recommend to hire an electrician to do the AC work. Like installing the energy meter etc. Otherwise look for a victron shop near you, they can help you with everything. ps: I received mine yesterday and am working on it already
You need the ET112 at the supply so the Victron can measure and service the Non Essential loads by raising the voltage causing a reverse flow to those loads
@@alanfalck1184 Hi just been binding on your vids very good explanation - so with the ET112 it can effectively user battery power to feed your house parasitic loads overnight such as fridge freezer internet router etc etc? So theoretically if I sized the battery, and the daily solar right, I could end up not taking power from the grid in the day, or the night? £0 electricity bill sounds very appealing!! Thanks.
I have the same question, doesn't the MP-II have an external CT that can clamp on the grid supply in the same place the ET112 was put and can do the same thing.

Why is the ET112 required? Doesn't Multiplus measures how much it draws from the grid by itself?

Other wise it only services essential loads
