Hey bro, new subscriber!! Thanks for sharing the trucking life experience with us. I unfortunately can not drive big rig, so trucking channels is what I like, bud! Hagd my friend

Pepsi merchandiser in idaho. i found your channel today and feel your vids calming...dont know why, i am around a ton of pepsi all the time lol!!! God bless!!! Subscribing!!!!
Quick question brother. Does Pepsi make you do a pre trip inspection and if you pass it that will dictate whether you get hired or not? Or are you just showing the pre trip for the people who are still in CDL school? I’m a little rusty😅
@Cody’s Trucking Adventures badass brother. I drive for a meat distributor. Kind of the same procedure. But These are great videos. You got yourself a subscriber. 👍
im a wine delivery driver and maaaannn i swear you got it GOOD on your route lol.. you're one of those drivers i wouldnt mind behind caught behind lol.. we all know certain ones move like snails checking stuff in.. as a suggestion, I would show the people the check in process and how a DSD does on a audited pallet and how to do a return from a stop if you can
@@Codystruckingadventures lol yea it can get a little hectic but like your route, when school's out then its CAKE. Keep up the good work with the videos
I used to deliver for a liquor company. 30-40 stops a day. Grocery store day I had 6 plus my regular stops. Things wouldnt have been so bad if my first stop wasnt an hour plus from the warehouse.
Im getting my cdl A soon, currently i have B class and been driving city buses for a year, do you have any tips for me on applying for companies?, I live on staten island and going to be moving to Texas
Doin and moving I just applied at Pepsi in Lincoln Nebraska after working for both Amazon and fedex ground as a basic delivery driver and wanted to take a big step in the delivery business got any advice?
Doing ang moving. Im watching all your videos i interview next thursday for Pepsi. Keeping my fingers crossed it will be my first driving job since getting my cdl
@@Codystruckingadventures Interesting! I work at the Urbandale, IA plant and we only distribute crush (all forms) and 5 gal bib Dr. pepper, we don't do any Dr. pepper bottles or cans, though we do produce them from time to time
Do you guys use the DEX system or is a manual scan by receiver? Also, how many times in a month or week do you need to get out of dock due to Walmart truck or chain grocery truck wanting to dock?
very thorough on that inspection, i blew right through that on my test by simply stating what they were and repeating not bent broken or cracked, not leaking lol
Another nice video. What’s the longest you’ve had to wait at a Walmart? 39-42 hours is nice! When I delivered for Turkey Hill I averaged about 65 hours a week. Long days but the OT money was good 🤠
Doing & Moving. Wanted to know when and how you recharge fork lift. For having you cold less than a year you do a great job of backing in to all those spots. Love the videos !!!
Doing and moving. You probably get this question a lot but I'm new to the channel - how much does Pepsi pay? By the hour, by mile if applicable? Per load? I work for Schneider atm and am doing dedicated close to home after being OTR Teams. I kinda enjoy the back and forth right now. Was supposed to be Home Depot stores, but man that stresses me tf out. I came off of Teams to have less stressed, so I found something between DCs and I'm happier. Love the content, love the advice, can't wait to see more!

Hey Cody, what’s the difference between city, driver and transport driver?
City delivers product to stores and transport delivers the loaded trailers to different Pepsi terminals
What happens with the outdated product that is returned?
They throw it away
It’s cool to see the unloading process.
Thanks man

Nah they only provide us with straps
Do you guys use the DEX system or is a manual scan by receiver? Also, how many times in a month or week do you need to get out of dock due to Walmart truck or chain grocery truck wanting to dock?
At least trice a week I get kicked off the dock. Walmarts are ANS, Publix and Winn Dixie are DEX. Then every other store goes by pick sheet
Gotcha. Suggest your drivers to carry a back up dex if they can in case the dex goes down. Not a fun day typing in manually.
You ever run into the red Barron drivers? I know some of those folks.
