one question sir..you have mentioned here, as classful routing protocols do not carry subnet information, the subnet is calculated as per the receiving interface of the other router..if so, for example, in router#1 i created a network 192.168.1.0/24 and the connected interfaces of the routers are having 10.1.1.0/30 network..then i advertised network 192.168.1.0 in ripv1..should the router#2 update it's routing table as 192.168.1.0/30 (as connected interfaces are on /30) or router#2 will update it's routing table as 192.168.1.0/24 (as ripv1 is classful and 192.168.1.0 is class c network and default subnet mask of class c network is /24)..hope you have got my point..thanks in advance..
The router is the end point of any broadcast,So in distance vector routing protocol how it's possible that when router receives updates on an interface will propagate broadcast on all other interfaces..???
outer> Router> Router>df Translating "df"...domain server (255.255.255.255) short cut key for abort this please in cpt an i tried shift+ctrl+6 but its not work
Good explanation sir, Thank you and please upload if any new updates come.
Thanks for this amazing course

It will not update according to it's class. It will update it as /30, because at that time there was not the concept of subnet
