The first time I got to your channel was around Norsca release, I remember it because Norsca was the first game I watched and marveled at someone who was leagues ahead of me in multiplayer WHILE having hand problems. I like seeing the high elves a bit more. They have a lovely roster and we don't see it that often.
Dwarves vs high elves is instant carnage where both sides start in vanguard and ignore the objective in favour of slaughtering each other.
The most lore friendly battle I’ve ever seen.
I absolutely love seeing all this High Elf representation.

@@turinRTS the infinite summons and no regeneration cap, heroes with healing potions and Dawi thanes with AoE snares, those were the wild times!
This format is just so much better than domination! Domination mode was sucking all the fun from watching these tournaments for me to the point that I basically stopped watching your events, Turin. And conquest is sucha a breath of fresh air! I hope to see much more games in this format!
110% this. I love watching Dahv, but Turin is just S Tier. I dislike Dom and slowly had all my enthusiasm to be subbed here because of it (and the toxic Dom fans). Conquest might make me resub if he does it fairly regularly!

i feel like the conquest/land battle format is a bit more rock-paper--scissors. A fait amount of game seems decided in the army builder, maybe its bcs of the player lvl or the lack of rep in this particular game mode. Maybe doing some Bo3 could be pertinent.

I'm quite excited for conquest, I have to admit that resummoning kinda ruined the viewing experience for me since I enjoy players to have to outpick their opponent. plus it actually feels substantial to lose a unit

Air power is oppressive, one small change they could make is to reduce the cooldown for anti-air spells, this will not effect campaign but make it far harder to avoid spells like tempest.

2:35:00 If you want to read a good WHF novel pick up Drachenfels. It's a great book even if you don't care about the setting at all. Gotrek and Felix are decent pulp, but apart from Kinslayer I don't think they hold up that well.
At all faction the Tyrion the best legendary lord he is unbreakable. And he can revovery heal without support. Just need a good heal hero(life hero) and they are the best faction the game.
I wish rune magic was good enough to ppl actually use it.

Should honestly limit dragon slayers or consider completely banning dwarves from tournaments. They have way too many overpowered tools.

Except for the GS vs Slaanesh battle, every match was a foregone conclusion by the 3-4 minute mark. Conquest just ends way too quickly for me to enjoy it. Sure, that happens in Domination too but much less frequently and there's a lot more room for skill to shine.
Disagree. The resummon schtick just denies multiple styles of play and defensive/ slow factions get a nautural curbstomp disadvantage. I also hated the super cheap lord + unsummon combo.
