No uterus. No problem. 😊 Getting myself on estradiol as fast as I can. I'm tired of being given antidepressants and told diet and exercise
No uterus after a partial hysterectomy. I'm 52 years old experiencing premenopausal symptoms. I will be considering HRT as well. I would like the patch but will look for a Menopause doctor on the Menopause Society Website.
Omg, right! They just throw antidepressants at us like candy!
@@snowps1same here and they aren’t helping! Within a week of the estradiol patch and micro progesterone my hot flashes really went down and a lot less night sweats so better sleep!
1 mg. works like magic.
@@beverlyhayshouston2770 have you gained any weight? I started .035mg and I am so bloated all over my body
Ive just started this very combination this week after putting it off for a couple of years (along with diet & supplements you suggested)! The brain fog and joint pain became too much. So far so good 👍

Have you found any helpful GPs in Australia or did you need an obgyn?

@@bekind836 I went got a written letter from my Gyn .
I felt like a school girl doing something wrong.
Disgraceful in this day and age.
Ah! I had a hysterectomy. My uterus almost killed me. I shouldn't be alive right now, but I am. My OBGYN saved my life with that hysterectomy. But now the belly bloat I have is just chronic and won't go away. I have NEVER had a weight issue until now.
Me too... ❤
I’m so sorry. I completely understand. 🤗🤗🤗
Why it almost killed you? Because the mental health or something else?
I’m going hysterical for past half year.
Same. Why did my belly turn into a water-balloon. And they changed the shape of my cute belly button.
Thank you. I’m 50 and getting ready to start HRT’s I need help deciding. I have no medical problems and no family hx if cancer praise God.
Just started the compounded tablet, sub lingual, …. Soooo much better!! No mess, no fuss!!
My urologist gave me estradiol low dose cream for chronic UTI'S. I have history of breast cancer. Keeping my UTI'S at a minimum! Feel so much better.

I'm on HRT , negroni and prosceco! So excited! Meaning 2x a week patch with the progesterone at night.... it's been a week....😊🎉 Mahalo Dr. HAVER
How you feeling?
I started 2 weeks ago and I feel amazing!
For perimenopause, too?
Tks 4 all u do!
I was prescribed the Estradiol transdermal patch and the cost was $231.00 per month with insurance. Is there a different one that is more affordable?
Yikes. Did you find anything to replace it?
Live in London UK. Here the cost for HRT is £20 a year. I believe that if men went through Menopause it would be free.
Estradiol pill form birth control
Should be genetic brand ,you have to ask for it in pharmacy . Good luck ☺️
I mg. estradiol in pill form works for me.
I was under the impression that even if the uterus has been removed, there may be other benefits if adding the micronized oral progesterone with transdermal estradiol. Is this true?
I’m going to be honest I’m scared to take anything because my friend died from menopause medicines prescribed by her doctor!!! It caused kidney failure!!!
They ONLY PRESCRIBE MEDS to keep us medicated not knowing if it will work for us. KEEP IN MIND we are all different , yet the Doctors follow what they gave to someone else hoping it will work for you.
People die in car crashes but I bet you still get into cars
@sarahmill6963 That is a weird comparison.
One has control of your health not what happens while driving. Lol
@@sarahmill6963This is a grown up conversation. Bye.
I’m so sorry about your friend. She probably wasn’t monitored correctly. That should’ve been detected and prevented. I think if you make your concerns clear to your provider, they should be able to guide you in your decision, but I’d get several opinions if I were you.
Hello doctor, can you please explain to me how comes we take the same dose every week , knowing that estrogen is secreted during the first part of the month and progesterone in the second, also levels are not the same every day
She will NOT answer your question she works in HEALTHCARE there GOAL is to keep us medicated as much as possible.
@@nschmidt7Not true. She’s anti-establishment and advocates for lifestyle changes over drugs. She recommends diet and exercise first and if necessary drugs.
@@nschmidt7keep an open mind. Generalizing everyone as being the same because they part of a certain group or affiliation can keep you stuck in your cognitive biases. She is amazing. Start to follow her and you will know.

50+ massive brain fog, weird pain, nerve pain, inflammation, some panic and anxiety, random sleep issues, belly fat, fatigue, trouble with recall, hair loss everywhere. Are these criteria for HRT?
Which one do you recommend Estroven or Amberen?
Is there any benefit (or harm) of taking progesterone if you don’t have a uterus?
Please help. Can you make a video commenting about HRT for those with a history of breast cancer. HR+ PR+
I’ve been told by my really lovely OBGyn that I can’t do HRT. It’s a non-starter.
But I’m suffering 😢
I am in the same boat as you. Surgical menopause at 39 and I am now 61. Extensive breast cancer in my family….. 4 generations so far. It’s been awful! I understand what you are going through. 🤗
I think she has one about topical estrogen? It’s not in pill form so it’s not risky. I’m not sure though, maybe search her videos for it.
@@NicoleAZ145 thank you!
@drhaver What are your basic suggestions for 51 yr old, one ovary, no uterus or tubes, hypothyroid. I’ve heard progesterone can be helpful even w/o uterus. And how much does hypo play into the symptoms/BHRT plan? Thank you for all your content. It’s been a lifesaver to just feel heard. ❤
Anyone knows while taking estradiol/noreth patches we also need progesteron pill ?
How much though?

I've just started on HRT combi (Evorel Conti) at 59. Can you provide so more info on why this is the best form over the Evorel conti, so that I can speak to my GP please
I’m confused how do you get this? By the way your links to your products are not working 😢
Thanks so much for this information. 😊
I'm on estradiol gel and utrogesten micronised progesterone, have been on it for 4 days, i feel awful, headaches nauseous, feel very groggy taking the progesterone tablets. I take them at night.
My head feels weird.
Tell your doctor. Some women can't handle that extra progesterone or you might need a different progesterone. For example, levenorgestrol turns me into a raging biotch and makes me gain tens of lbs in weight in just a few months. So I can't take the form of progesterone.
This was never even mentioned as an option to me even though my bones were thinning premenopause after losing an ovary. I am 59 and my mother died from a PE (after being on HRT and Synthroid for years and she also had osteoporosis). Would it be safe for me to use transdermal estradiol at almost 60 with that family history?

Hi im 54 got my uterus..started on utrogestant x 1x100mg and 1x pump of esteriol gel..very low mood on 4th day..feeling slightly better today.5th dat.what confuses me is why im on it everyday but some are on progesterone for 12 days then cone off..so confising..
How on gods green earth do you keep the, on your body??? I can keep the twice a week on better than the once a week option but I still have issues sometimes
I apply the patch and then cover it with a water resistant band aid in extra large, this stops them from falling off, seems to worked well for me.
intelligent cyclic dosing
Is there any reason to take progesterone if you don't have a uterus?
Does health insurance, Medicaid and Medicare cover tests and bhrt for all women?
Insurance covers menopause treatment that includes estradiol, micronized progesterone :)
I am on oral progesterone only. 42. Perimenopause. Still having sx but no hotflashes. Lots of fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, weight gain esp in belly, and irregular periods . Would estradiol help me?
What about your hair I'm 40 and facing too much hair loss😢

HRT in Europe is only advisable durinh 5 years. What do you think of it?
Everyone who is on HRT should have regular visits with their provider to assess the risks/benefits of remaining on HRT. There is no set time to stop HRT based on length of time taken or age XOXO Community Support Team

Funny. Pretty sure though that estrogen should never be taken unopposed by progesterone, and, it should always be in bioidentical form - never synthetic. I have noticed in your videos that this is not something that you stress, which is sort of concerning.
Dr. Haver does frequently say that for those who have a uterus, progesterone should be taken with estrogen, and her preferred forms are an estradiol patch with micronized oral progesterone. XOXO Community Support Team
