    No uterus. No problem. 😊 Getting myself on estradiol as fast as I can. I'm tired of being given antidepressants and told diet and exercise

      No uterus after a partial hysterectomy. I'm 52 years old experiencing premenopausal symptoms. I will be considering HRT as well. I would like the patch but will look for a Menopause doctor on the Menopause Society Website.

    Ah! I had a hysterectomy. My uterus almost killed me. I shouldn't be alive right now, but I am. My OBGYN saved my life with that hysterectomy. But now the belly bloat I have is just chronic and won't go away. I have NEVER had a weight issue until now.

      My urologist gave me estradiol low dose cream for chronic UTI'S. I have history of breast cancer. Keeping my UTI'S at a minimum! Feel so much better.

      Live in London UK. Here the cost for HRT is £20 a year. I believe that if men went through Menopause it would be free.

    I was under the impression that even if the uterus has been removed, there may be other benefits if adding the micronized oral progesterone with transdermal estradiol. Is this true?

    I’m going to be honest I’m scared to take anything because my friend died from menopause medicines prescribed by her doctor!!! It caused kidney failure!!!

      They ONLY PRESCRIBE MEDS to keep us medicated not knowing if it will work for us. KEEP IN MIND we are all different , yet the Doctors follow what they gave to someone else hoping it will work for you.

      I’m so sorry about your friend. She probably wasn’t monitored correctly. That should’ve been detected and prevented. I think if you make your concerns clear to your provider, they should be able to guide you in your decision, but I’d get several opinions if I were you.

    Hello doctor, can you please explain to me how comes we take the same dose every week , knowing that estrogen is secreted during the first part of the month and progesterone in the second, also levels are not the same every day

    Please help. Can you make a video commenting about HRT for those with a history of breast cancer. HR+ PR+
    I’ve been told by my really lovely OBGyn that I can’t do HRT. It’s a non-starter.
    But I’m suffering 😢

      I am in the same boat as you. Surgical menopause at 39 and I am now 61. Extensive breast cancer in my family….. 4 generations so far. It’s been awful! I understand what you are going through. 🤗

      I think she has one about topical estrogen? It’s not in pill form so it’s not risky. I’m not sure though, maybe search her videos for it.

    I'm on estradiol gel and utrogesten micronised progesterone, have been on it for 4 days, i feel awful, headaches nauseous, feel very groggy taking the progesterone tablets. I take them at night.
    My head feels weird.

      Tell your doctor. Some women can't handle that extra progesterone or you might need a different progesterone. For example, levenorgestrol turns me into a raging biotch and makes me gain tens of lbs in weight in just a few months. So I can't take the form of progesterone.

    This was never even mentioned as an option to me even though my bones were thinning premenopause after losing an ovary. I am 59 and my mother died from a PE (after being on HRT and Synthroid for years and she also had osteoporosis). Would it be safe for me to use transdermal estradiol at almost 60 with that family history?

    Hi im 54 got my uterus..started on utrogestant x 1x100mg and 1x pump of esteriol gel..very low mood on 4th day..feeling slightly better today.5th dat.what confuses me is why im on it everyday but some are on progesterone for 12 days then cone off..so confising..

      I apply the patch and then cover it with a water resistant band aid in extra large, this stops them from falling off, seems to worked well for me.

    I am on oral progesterone only. 42. Perimenopause. Still having sx but no hotflashes. Lots of fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, weight gain esp in belly, and irregular periods . Would estradiol help me?

      Everyone who is on HRT should have regular visits with their provider to assess the risks/benefits of remaining on HRT. There is no set time to stop HRT based on length of time taken or age XOXO Community Support Team

      Try the gel if you can. It worked for me and evaporates quickly. You feel it working too. 💖

      Use alcohol on a cotton ball to clean the skin prior to using the patch. It works!

    Funny. Pretty sure though that estrogen should never be taken unopposed by progesterone, and, it should always be in bioidentical form - never synthetic. I have noticed in your videos that this is not something that you stress, which is sort of concerning.
