I keep glucose tablets (in the travel size container) strategically placed throughout the house. It's a must in this household. Definitely more challenging when travelling though.
You two are so sweet. Jaquie, talk to your doctor about getting a glucose gel that you can squirt in your mouth or rub on your gums. It would be easy to have with you at all times and I think it would be better that the glucose tablets you have to chew. And you would need to chew at least 4 of them at a time. The cool thing about the gel is someone else can rub it on your gums if heaven forbid you are really out of it. Thank you for you service!
Family get togethers can be so taxing with chronic illness. I love how hard you try but also know your limitations. Trying to have all of the things you need for your body at your fingertips at all times is impossible, at least for me. Every time I leave the house I feel like I've packed for a week long trip! Praying that your day has been better so far today. Happy Early Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Do you guys know how amazing you are just want to print that out the three of you make an awesome team through the good the bad and the everyday theme Judds family was fun I learned so much it's amazing how many different chronic illnesses there are which minor totally different than yours but I learn so much from you thank you so much and tips on teaching my service dog more wonderful things to make my life a little easier just like Harlow helps you out much love I loved your early Thanksgiving see you on your next video
I'm a type one diabetic so I 100% understand your description of when your blood sugar was 65. You are such an inspiration to me because you have to deal with much much more then I do every day. Good luck with everything and enjoy the simple parts of life!
What a great day you had. Even with low blood sugar and crashing. Thanks Harlow and family for taking care of Jaq!! I love Lauren and Harlow at the end!
Thank you for letting us meet Judd's family- that was such fun. My, you did very well Jacqui- so much activity. And, of four seasons Harlow was a star! Best wishes to you all.
I just wanted to let you know that you are truly the most inspiring person I could see right now! I have my ups and downs with my own chronic illness (ulcerative colitis) and am in the process of starting a youtube travel vlog right now. any time that I am discouraged about anything at all in life I will remember what I have watched on your channel and it will help me get me over those humps!
I have actually been to Bahama Breeze 1x and it was the one you actually went to. Used to go to Orlando a lot for work! Anyway, loved how the family rallied around you and even though you weren't at your best you not only try to help where/when you can but you also are so thankful for what you have. I'm thankful I found you guys, you make me smile every day!
Hi Jaquie! I do appreciate your daily videos, and y’all opening your life up for others to learn from. Your POTS, Pain Management, and Service Dog videos have given me great information and insight. I have a form of POTS, Neurocardiogenic Syncope, among many other chronic conditions/diagnoses. Since watching your videos, I plan to ask my EP Cardio Dr this Wednesday about getting IV fluid infusions at home. I still see the same Dr that diagnosed me 22 yrs ago at 23 (after 5 years of Dr’s without a clue), and Dr’s tell me he’s the man to go to. I think that’s as an EP cardio Dr though, not necessarily as a POTS specialist (I have separate EP issues that I’ve had two heart Cath surgeries for - one by him and the 2nd at Shands). I’m hoping he’s willing to try this as a proactive and preventative method to lessen my miserable symptoms and days in bed because I can’t drink enough to keep up blood volume when nauseated, but I’m not sure he’ll agree. You seem to really like and trust your POTS Dr, would you give me his/her name so I can research, possibly for another opinion? Thank you for your sharing of faith and positivity!
I was over stimulated just watching, can only imagine how hard that was for you. Good effort. Harlow is ever impressive. I can't believe you were able to make it down those stairs with sugars that low. I can't even think well enough to remember to test my sugar, but somehow remember to drink juice. It's not good to keep tabs on my numbers but that's the least important part. You're doing great, as frustrating as it. xoxoxoxoxo
So happy you were able to go out and enjoy time with family with the help of your wheelchair. Awesome job Harlow on alerting to your girls low blood sugar! And thank you Judd for your service y'all's veterans day was nicer than mine and my husbands. We ordered the veterans day half off pizza got kitkats and sodas ( I had water no caffeine for me I have anxiety and caffeine makes it worse) and just watched movies all day.
Harlow is so cute this vlog! Happy Veteran’s Day and an early Thanksgiving! Love y’all and a special thank you to Judd for his service in the Army and to our Jaquie!
Been in hospital because of an infection from surgery a couple of weeks ago, couldn’t watch your videos there so I’ve got about 5 to watch while I’m resting😀 very happy!
Were you hooked up to your feed when your blood sugar went low? If you're on all day feeds then it is quite bizarre that this happened. Glucogel would be a good option to keep in the emergency kit. You can take it orally by just rubbing it to your gums (it doesn't go into your stomach).
Would your doctor give you D50 or maybe D25 to self administer in times of low blood sugar? Forcing sugar orally used to make my patients vomit. And with your malabsorption issues maybe IV dextrose could give you faster relief. Just a thought. God Bless. Oh and please tell your MIL she's not alone with leaving groceries in the trunk. Last month I left a whole chicken in the back of our SUV. Uggghhhh!
Oh, bless you! You're a trooper and I'm glad your family is so accepting of you. My family just ignores my illness. And, when it rears it ugly head, they act surprised. It's so hard. But, it's lovely to see you thriving regardless.
This comment is a bit late but I'm behind on watching your daily uploads. As a type 1 diabetic I fully understand the panic of an unexpected hypo that you are not prepared for. Some lifesaving things that I've found which are easy to keep at hand at almost all times are: Juice boxes, glucose tabs, glucose gel(probably the most effective, not the best taste though haha), milk, snack size bottles of sugary drinks or small packets of sweets (jelly babies are amazing, not sure if you have them in the US though). Not sure which ones of these might work for you but its always something to think about if possible. Also, check out myabetic, a company which sells cases to hold glucose meters and diabetes supplies, they make some cases for glucose meters which can hold glucose gels/tabs and food/drink to combat low blood sugar which I've found amazing as there's always something right next to your testing kit in an emergency. They sell some lovely pink cases too😉
Oh my goodness thank you so much! I was casually watching your video, I got to the part with your blood sugar (hope you are feeling better) and realized I had almost forgotten my pills! Whew crisis averted ❤️❤️
Hey, as a diabetic for almost 20y i can tell you two things...chocolate does not help with a low bs immedately (sugar, juice, bread, coke, ect yes!) and two, you should go and see a diabetic specialist. There is so much more to know...it would help. I hope this time you see/read my comment.
I realize this is one year later, but I think it's so funny that Jaquie said it would rain "yesterday," and it didn't. Then "today," she said the weather was beautiful, and it rained! Haha
Hi Jaquie, I am so sorry that you have sugar issues. I battle with that myself, sometimes my sugar is low other times it's high. Are you seeing an endocrinologist? My endocrinologist really helps me with my blood sugar. I am praying daily for you. I wish you could be totally healthy. God Bless you! I love your dog. You are an inspiration to all chronically ill people like myself. Sincerely Mary
You can get this sugar paste stuff that absorbs into your mouth so you don't have too eat, my freind with diabetes uses it when she gets a low. Judds family seem super nice, I'm glad you two are having a nice time.
I wish I could send Harlow a new pink dragon!!! Such a good girl!!! (I know she gets plenty of love and praise and why you can't risk having anyone send ya'll stuff...I just...yeah. All the feels when she alerts like that!!!)
@chronically jaquie, maybe a good idea would be to get a syringe and push the sugar water thru your feeding tube so it bypasses your stomach? This way, you won't end up vomiting. I cannot eat on a nauseated stomach - it just makes the nausea worse - so I can't imagine eating chocolate when you're sick. Another idea is to get some glucose gel packs to keep with you or, better still, get some glucose powder that you can mix in water and push thru your tube. It contains dextrose which provides a better, safer alternative to sugar water. They sell some on Amazon called Elovate (I'm sure there are other brands out there, but that's the first one I saw).
There’s a powdered apple juice concentrate that you can mix with water if you’re out and it’s not convenient to carry a bottle/box for blood sugar issues. I’m not sure your exact needs when it comes to that but that’s what my dad does. I’m pretty sure you can buy it off amazon.
the feelings i have watching your videos and the frey lifes video are amazing. the issues i have dont compare to yours, but you and mary show how even though your situation stinks, you make the most of each day no matter what and you do it with a smile. thank you. 👍😀❤️
oh man, I woke up at 1:30 last night and couldn't get back to sleep due to my chronic pain and other issues. I tossed and turned and finally got up at 6...
WOW Jaquie you were able to do a lot in one day! Congratulations! Harlow is such a blessing! I love how sweet, smart, and at times HILARIOUS! God bless you all! Oh yeah, Judd nice mustache, but you are a lot more handsome without it.
maybe one of those metal keychain hooks could attach to the wheel chair gloves and attach them to the wheel chair so you have them to protect your hands from getting a callus. I like that the gloves have a hint of pink to to with the backpack, and the wheel chair. It is all very stylish and hip. I hope this is a good tool for you and gets you out and about and doing what you like to do.
You should look into glucose tabs to put in your emergency kit they will last longer than juice and you can get them right in the pharmacy section of most stores.
I've been thinking about your tube kinking and button rotation problem. Have you thought about using a second tubie grip sticky thing to hold the extension tube underneath and closer to your button so the button itself has less range to move? It would mean wearing 2 instead of one but it might lessen the buttons rotation.
If I was you I'd be like "Forget not being able to have dessert" and I'd probably just lick it so I could taste it even if it wouldn't actually be eating anything. XD
What kind/brand of headphones do you use? I also have sensory processing disorder and I have large earmuffs and noise canceling headphones, but I'm looking for something like the earmuffs but lower profile like the ones you have.

The way Judd looked at you when he said “I love you” was so beautiful. You can tell how much you mean to him. You two are such an inspiring couple!
I am so happy watching you interact with Judd's family, and seeing the love that you all share. You have been blessed with some wonderful humans, Jaq!
Happy Veterans Day! Thank you for all that have served, including Judd!
Harlow is the luckiest dog in the world she is so loved
I keep glucose tablets (in the travel size container) strategically placed throughout the house. It's a must in this household. Definitely more challenging when travelling though.
I do too
You're like a little hummingbird, you need sugar water sometimes 😂💕
My health has been absolutely awful lately, and your and Janiece's vlogs always cheer me up so much!!
Little Mix Lover my health has been poor lately too and I look forward to the clogs also.

Been in hospital because of an infection from surgery a couple of weeks ago, couldn’t watch your videos there so I’ve got about 5 to watch while I’m resting😀 very happy!
You and Judd are the sweetest couple I've ever seen

Harlow, is such a good girl to alert you. You are lucky to have her.
The thumbnail of this vlog is too adorable!!

Pink gerbrea daisies are my absolute favourite flowers! Yours were beautiful! What a sweet gesture 💞
You all are so funny. I love the great bond your family has on both sides, You have an amazing family!
"Toe cultures" is cracking me up for some reason
You’re so amazing and very strong!!!! You try so hard to try to live a “normal” life. I applaud you for that! 👏🏻😊
Her attitude is amazing! And that dog....
Eric Taylor Harlow.
misty misty I don't think she has to try she embraces her life as "normal".
Disney Gamer
I know the dog's name. I'm saying she is an impressive animal.
Jaquie things will happen but you didn't let it stop you from enjoying yourself. Judd you have a wonderful family. As usual Harlow is awesome.
Thank you for your service Jud

I love you so much and I as a chronically ill person my self I'm here to help spread the areness about chronic illnesses
I'm wearing my Chronically Jacquie shirt today!!!

Jaquie, a quick way to bring up your Surgar lvls if you don't have juice handy is Jelly or Jams. It's also a lot more portable then the juice.
@chronically jaquie, maybe a good idea would be to get a syringe and push the sugar water thru your feeding tube so it bypasses your stomach? This way, you won't end up vomiting. Irina Fanchon I was up at 4 finnaly got back to sleep around 7 in my recliner. Maybe we should play Words with Friends LOL
WOW Jaquie you were able to do a lot in one day! Congratulations! Harlow is such a blessing! I love how sweet, smart, and at times HILARIOUS! God bless you all! Oh yeah, Judd nice mustache, but you are a lot more handsome without it.
Hoping that Jaquie's lack of comments is because she's having a day with family and nothing to worry about.
Also- honey, maple sauce and fruit juice are the best ways to bring up sugar and quickly
Judd says, "...Next thing ya know, her arm would be on backwards [if bowling]. LMBO. Love his humor.
You two are so great. You just make me smile😀
Haha Judd is starting to look different with his beard growing!! Happy veterans day:)
maybe one of those metal keychain hooks could attach to the wheel chair gloves and attach them to the wheel chair so you have them to protect your hands from getting a callus. The ending was so cute of you guys❤️
Omg!!!! That's the bowling alley I used to always go to when I lived in florida!!!!! I miss it so much!
You guys should travel with bed risers, so you can prop up the head of beds to help with your acid reflux issues etc.
I am so glad you guys are having fun. November is almost halfway over. Only a little bit longer until Judd is back and Farva can go back to his movie
wow :)
I love every one of your videos really, and I just wanted to say just how amazing y'all are. Thanks for sharing your daily life with us. :)
I have used one of those ball ramps for bowling. I used it when i was in school.
I order these honey sticks on amazon in case of low blood sugar. They are really small and easy to keep in my bag, medicine kit and car!
I hope you feel better !!! I love you and hallow Selena ( my baby in training) loves you lol!!!
Is it your SPD that makes sweet potatoes hard? Cause I have SPD too and I can't eat them unless they're fried in a certain way cause ughh that texture
The Broccoli from Bahama Breeze is the best!!! But it is super buttery and seasoned so idk how well it would do in your system
Glad you had a fun day xxxx
I wish you felt better. It's so not fair. Pray for you often.
What a beautiful family you have!
My bowling place has very small, light weight balls. It’s great for kids, disabled, and the elderly and everyone in between
I've been thinking about your tube kinking and button rotation problem. Have you thought about using a second tubie grip sticky thing to hold the extension tube underneath and closer to your button so the button itself has less range to move? It would mean wearing 2 instead of one but it might lessen the buttons rotation.

Binge watching! Love you 3!!!
Always carry glucose tablets. They are in the diabetic section of the drugstores or pharmacies. I deal with low sugars as well with my diabetes.
Im the same way. Once i hit 60-70s im shakey as hell. And hate the lows
Harlow is your Angel xx
LOVE YOU!!! You're amazing and strong. 😘😘😘😘
Early gang I love this channel it Inspired me
I’ve used a ball ramp once (I’m in a wheelchair), and it was a lot of fun.
If I was you I'd be like "Forget not being able to have dessert" and I'd probably just lick it so I could taste it even if it wouldn't actually be eating anything. XD
Do u have any funny memories of Judd’s mom and you guys back when u were in high school?
What kind/brand of headphones do you use? I also have sensory processing disorder and I have large earmuffs and noise canceling headphones, but I'm looking for something like the earmuffs but lower profile like the ones you have.
Cool, first comment. You are doing an amazing job with your health. Sad that it is interfering with your holiday but you did a lot of fun things today. Well done. Love from Australia.
It’s called Remembrance Day here in Australia same day and meaning different name
Why don't you push the juice through your feeding tube?
This one was hard to watch for me.. so much noise! :P My Misophonia was not happy haha.. Sorry to hear that you've been having a rough weekend... Hope you have a better time soon. :)
An idea for your wheelchair gloves.... my hubby used an underseat wheelchair bag. I am sure you can find it in PINK. :)
