I know you pushed yourself through this day.. it was all over your face(pain and exhaustion). I also know how much this day meant to you to give to Judd. As chronic illnesses and pain warriors, sometimes we pay very high prices to lift up and celebrate the ones we love and who care for us. You did an AWESOME job 👍💜💖

Happy Judd day! 🎉 Too cute! 👌 Total couple goals! ❤️ Well actually, family goals, Harlow is just too cute. Its great that the zoo was so service dog friendly and that the otters love playing with dogs so much.
I am glad you didn’t have to postpone Judd Day again! So hard to push through Chronic Illness, especially when the only person who can really see what is invisible to everyone else is the you are celebrating.
I have to add that when you got your new wheelchair I was so jealous! I found out a few days ago that I will be transitioning from my lite weight transport to a new ultralight wheelchair!

This upload really brought me joy Today. 😊 I have been struggling to adapt with my own newly diagnosed chronic illness and its effects on my relationships. 👫💕
The two of you inspire me to believe that chronic illness doesn't have to come between two people in love. It's not always sparkles and butterflies, sometimes it's driving to doctors and being there with fresh apple juice. 💕
But that's what real love is, being there for one another and celebrating your days spent together. ☄

It’s great that you have Judd day! I think being able to care for others when you can, not only makes them feel appreciated, but it gives a sense of being able to give back when you live with a disability❤️ I always wish I could give more to the ones who help me so much.
You inspire me to be a better mom and wife. I don't have a chronic illness, but I do deal with self esteem issues. I also deal with anxiety which comes and goes as it pleases. Today I'm struggling to get motivated to clean and bake for Thanksgiving.
Sarah Dunwald I'm with you sister. Lost an 18 year teaching position for no other reason than I was more expensive than a new teacher. It has really effected my self worth and self esteem.

We put too much pressure on ourselves for holidays instead of making everyday a holiday and just enjoying life. That's why I quit celebrating them the worldly way years ago. Less stress and anxiety.
Sarah Dunwald yes. This. This is me. I couldn’t put it into words until this. She inspires so many regardless if they have chronic illness or a mental illness. She is so wonderful in the fact that she helps anybody even with words.

Chronically Jaquie ....that's so cool! I never would have thought of that! I also love how thoughtful you are of those around you. You accommodate others and are respectful of them.. It's like you said, some of the animals may be afraid of Harlow. It's too bad others can't be the same toward us, i.e. chronically ill folks. Great Job Jacqie pushing through this day for your husband. You have inspired me to do a day for my son who always takes care of me when I have bad days. I guess when it comes to our kids we take it for granted that they will take care of us since we took care of them but I'm going to plan a special day for my son. He knows how much he's appreciated because I tell him and thank him all the time but I think I need to show him with a special day for him. Hope your hip heals quickly

Chronically Jaquie they don't have to take too much time! I can see how with his work schedule he could be intimidated though. My aquarium probably takes me 30 minuets a week to keep healthy.

I just randomly thought of a name for jade day ,but it might be dumb juddstice day. justice league are hero’s and Judd is a cop. So thats why I thought of that name.

Moon jelly fish are my absolute favorite. They have tanks now so you can have them in your home and I think it’s the coolest thing ever.
Oh my gosh, I LOVE this idea! I have systemic exertion intolerance disease, getting tested for POTS soon, and Hashimoto's. I'm gonna surpise my husband with his first ever "Joe day." Boy does he deserve it!

I describe it as us sometimes being "too good" at hiding our pain/other symptoms. We get so good at doing it over the years that sometimes it backfires and makes people doubt the truth about our health. Although often the reason we get into the habit of doing so is because we don't like how we are treated when we are visibly ill. You really can't win. Except by not giving a flying penguin poop what other people think! My pup and I send you our love!
You too are the perfect couple. Jaquie you show people with health issues that you can still like a great life inspite of your limitations. I really love to watch your adventures you are so inspiring.

I love that aquarium! I've only been one time, back in 2005, but I loved interacting with the Spoonbills! They live splashing people! And getting down, out of their "habitat" and kind of interacting with the people! It was a quiet. And slow day, there, in March, and I was one of the only people, in there, and the Spoonbills were so personable! I think they are my favorite tropical bird... they're PINK! and they're really a neat bird. Did you know, that the reason Spoonbills, and Flamingos are pink, is because of the shrimp they eat??? I think that's amazing! Anyway! I'm glad that you guys had such an amazing day, on Judd Day! Judd is an amazing man, and he definitely deserves to be celebrated! Happy Day, you guys! ((Hugs)) to you both, and scritchies and belly rubs to Harlow! 💖

I agree, sometimes it is worth it to push ourselves even if it means getting really worn out and needing to recover for a few days. You both had a lot of fun! And Harlow did too! I wonder if maybe she knew it was a special occasion since she wasn't as focused.

I don’t mean to be offensive, but i think we can generally tell when you aren’t feeling well. it’s all in our eyes. they are generally... heavier? and kind of... i’m not sure how to put it in to words. but you can see it clearly.

That is really endearing to me, that you are able to tell! A lot of people honestly cannot tell though, they say "you look great!" while I am struggling. Which is still nice! But just goes to show the impact of invisible illnesses. Thank you for acknowledging that you can tell, for some reason it makes me feel more connected to y'all! (:
I can tell. With depression/anxiety, my eyes get the same way. They grow heavier, and the eyes impact the entire face. I spend so much time worrying about if people are looking at me and that I read body language well, I guess.
I went to the store the other day and notice that Katefarms that you use for the feeding tube has a protein/meal replacement shake that people can buy. They have vanilla, chocolate and coffee flavored. I love the taste

Sometimes it is worth it to push it as a chronic pain warrior!!! This hits home and i agree. Sometimes we push and its worth it but the flare after sucks. Do you get high pain days after pushing yourself??

I have fibromyalgia it’s a chronic pain as well as much more disorder and your right people look at me as a 36 year old woman and say your always poorly how can u be in so much pain all the time no one seems to understand my day to day life and iv only been watching u for a few months but your such an inspiration how u battle each day with everything it makes me realise I CAN get up and I CAN do stuff but just to listen to my body and do it at my own pace thank you and keep fighting your doing a great job I hope u read this and know how much u have really helped me o and judd is 1 in a million u are both so lucky to have each other x this is a link to my disorder if u wanna know more en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibromyalgia

Your so lucky to get to see the octopus like that. The octopus at my local aquarium hids so you if you want to see it you have to spend 5 minutes trying to find the octopus's hiding spot in the tank.
They typically like to hide so this was really cool (:

An idea to think of but maybe you can find someone who can make holes for tubing in your favourite dresses so you can wear them more comfortably?
And I have a question. A few vlogs ago you were making veggie pops for Hippo and I wanted to ask if there a reason you are not blending broccoli stems with all other veggies?
And second is not a question but more of a recipe suggestion... Fee days ago I saw Buzzfeed Tasty video that made me think of one of your vlogs. They put parchment paper on baking sheet and made little sandwiches with peanut butter between two banana circles and freezing them till solid. Last part they were dipping it in melted chocolate chips but that's completely optional. I forgot the outcome of your banana experiment and if you could tolerate them well but decided to share anyways. Maybe it can give an idea for other people here :)
I do not wear my dresses enough to justify altering them honestly, I would usually just unhook for a bit. And there just was not enough room for the stems

I have this random intense fear/disgust about octopi. They make me shudder uncontrollably until I move away.
