professors get thousands of cold emails. Very rarely does anyone respond to it. In my case, I have put the settings in my mailbox for all public domains such as gmail and yahoo to automatically go to junk folder and get deleted. I am not saying other professors do the same, but surely they just ignore such emails. So not sure if your approach will work.

The first email kind of shows UTA in bad light. Do they accept students with this level of English? The least these guys could have done is use Grammarly!
one person does not represent the whole university. And please know that the said student might not be from an English medium school. Language is no measure of intelligence. That student might be a bright student and fluent in their native language. The student might also not have an environment where they were taught English writing skills and formal communication.
