Hello I'm considering buying either Legion 5 or MSI Katana as they are in the similar price range. Do you think that increasing the RAM value from 8 to say, 24 would increase the FPS I'd be able to get? Thanks a lot.

pour les jeux actuels, il n'y a quasiment aucune différence entre 16 et 32go de ram. Certain jeux vont être quelques fps plus rapide sur les 32 (car plus d'informations stockées) et d'autres jeux seront quelques fps plus rapide sur les 16go( car informations plus facile a chargée sur une quantité inférieure de RAM).
Pour ce qui est du support. Non j'ai arrêté les supports ventilés quand j'avais fait des tests avec et sans en m'apercevant qu'ils étaient contre productifs : les ventilateurs des supports ventilés créent une différence au niveau des flux d'air qui soit bloque le flux d'air s'ils sont moins puissant que ceux du pc, soit fait forcer les ventilo du pc s'ils sont plus puissant (l'exemple simple pour comprendre est que tu n'augmentes pas l'impression de fraicheur lorsque tu met un ventilateur de salon, derrière un autre ventilateur de salon...
La meilleure solution pour refroidir un pc portable gamer est de surélevé le pc et de faire en sorte que les arrivées et sorties d'air ne soient pas obstruées)
Et oui, j'utilise un ecran 24 pouces 144hz externe pour jouer.

How much fps do you get if in low settings?
How are you reaching so high fos meanwhile mine(same model) only has max 110fps in the lowest setting
Without connecting to the external screen and with the laptop's internal 120hz how many fps you get on low and medium settings ??
As I said in my more recent videos, this pc came with Samsung ram sticks which did not properly harness the power of the Ryzen 5600H. Suddenly, the number of FPS on Valorant with the base pc (samsung stick) is relatively low, even in medium (180-200fps). On the other hand, once the sticks have been changed, the number of fps goes up to 300.

If you want not input lag play on ethernet wired is always better than wireless
Why does it get below 144 fps? On my old 940mx laptop it played valorant on highest settings and 60fps. Something is quite wrong here, should be around 300
Maybe he only has 8Gb of RAM, and since he is recording it also affects the results, but you will never have 300 fps on a laptop on high settings

How are the fans when playing like this? Are they loud?
When you have it in automatic mode, its loud, but not that loud, for gaming laptopt it is good. When are you on perfomance mod.... yeah, it is loud. But when you have got it in silent mode, it is pretty quiet.

@@damienlp9421 Can you tell me if 250 nits is worth ?? Bcuz people say that its a dark display. My laptop is 250 nits but old panel and brother's laptop is 400 nits one. It is so bright. Also i do not like bright diaplay.

@@damienlp9421 I have watched many times but my table is near the window and light comes from outside striking the laptop. So will it be a good choice choosing the 120 hz even though i usually use my laptop with 30 % brightness and gaming 50% ?

Try to make sure that the ventilation of the pc is free. (there are some below and on the sides). Above all, never leave your pc on a bed or blanket, for example, so that it can breathe.
Afterwards, it may simply be in performance mode. Try playing in "quiet mode" to see if the temperature rises

5-10fps more.
The problem is the ram issue that I mention in my last videos. The Legion 5 and the legion 5 pro need to have its RAM changed because of poor internal timings that showdown the laptop.

@@diablo_333it is not a question of sufficient or not. it is a question of the quality of the ram sticks. the default samsung ram timings are not sufficient for ryzen. you can put 2x8gb (crucial fort example) to have better performances.
