Dearest Ellen, please do continue your channel. I love your heart. I learn so much. I'm so glad to hear your hubby is well. I'm going through a lot myself right now. I was injured loading my truck. I just had surgery. I'm a new soaper. I opened my soap shop 2 months ago. It's all I have right now. I'm trying to build quickly as I may not be able to be a trucker again. I am blessed though. I'm 60 with 11 gorgeous grandchildren. I fell in love with making soap and I'm hoping to make a living at it and thanks to you and many other generous soapers I have a new hope. Thank you Ellen. God bless you.
I’m so glad your hubby is feeling better and that you are enjoying your family and life… I’m 69 and it’s so very important. I sure glad that you’re still on U Tube♥️
I am so glad you have this channel. You and several others have prepared me to start making soap. If I could only figure out why no matter what I do, I keep getting stearic blobs in my soap. Hopefully they are still usable. Thank you for being you and sharing this all with us.
Oh Ellen what a fun soap to Make. I must see if I can find the scrubby ingredients over here they sound like the best. Thank you for keeping us enthused. Love it ❤❤ I pointed out not long ago that a soaper was making claim and asked if they had a cosmetic licence as thought soapers couldn’t make claims here the individual co clearly didn’t like it and questioned what I was saying was a claim!!!! I thought but decided it wasn’t worth responding as clearly angry I’d asked a question, but should have said read what you’re saying on your Facebook ad. So good on you Ellen for pointing this out. Regulations are here too.
Great message, exactly what I needed to hear. You can still make products That you love And give them to family and friends and others in need.... So happy to hear that your husband is doing well God bless you and your family.
Love watching your videos. I know it is alot of work to do. So glad you do it for us! Praying for you and your husband and your family. You have helped me so much on my soapy journey. ❤
As Always, I enjoy watching and intending to you. I’m going to give this recipe a go. I have a small farm and between caring for animals and machinery, I sometimes ned a good scrubby soap. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Ellen Karen from the Cruise here. Another fabulous bar! Thanks for the recipe, I’ll give it a try. Glad your hubby is doing well. I’m 60 but you look 45 and not a day older! Great to see you again. Take care❤
Thank you for your videos of your beautiful soaps. Happy to hear your husband is well. Take care and keep these awesome videos coming you are truly an inspiring lady.
Beautiful soap, reminds me of mint chip ice cream here in the 🇬🇧. Aww i so love the soapy patterns some lovely butterfly's in there.I am so glad your husband is doing ok .Take care 😊xx
I want to make this for my husband for Father’s Day, he is always working on his random projects in the garage and comes back with greasy hands! These would be perfect for him!
(Note for those with sensitive skin or eczema) Thank you Ellen for the recipe, and I have a note that I hope will be accepted Please note this in your upcoming videos An increase in the percentage of coconut oil will dry the skin
I love your soaps! Do you think you could put together a heavy duty mechanics soap using coarse pumice sand? I have been searching everywhere and can’t find one to my liking. I know for a fact, if you can put one together, I would be able to use it. That’s how much I love your soaps.❤
At 58, you look amazing! I'm 50 and I feel like I look much older than you do 😅 Anyway, I agree about what you said about the ingredients. I gift my soaps too and one of my mom's friends had a licorice and papain allergy that I didn't know about until she read my labels. On one bar I used licorice extract, and on another I used papaya extract. I wasn't sure if the properties of those extracts would survive saponification and intended for them to be just label appeal. So she read the labels and apologized that she can't use those bars because of the licorice and the papain in the papaya extract. I suppose it's ok not to include ingredients if it were just the oils in there? But the additives I guess are important cause someone might have an allergic reaction to them...
Hi Ellen! So happy to hear the good news abt your hubby! ❤ Question? To my remembrance I've never seen you do the heat transfer method with your CP soaps? Have you tried it? Is there a reason you prefer not to use it? It just seems so mucb faster so wondering your thoughts on it?
I have used the heat transfer method a few time, and it is super fast. When I'm using a fragrance that I know is well behaved, it's a good option. But it can move things a bit faster than I like sometimes.
@EllenRuthSoap Thanks so much! I've tried it twice and last night almost had soap on a stick so now I 100% know what you mean! Lol Until I'm sure an FO will behave I better stick to the regular CP protocol! ❤️
Very pretty ❤! I need to ask you a question that no one will answer me on, I'm trying to make a rainbow soap with the straight solid layers, so I separated the oils into 6 cups, now do I measure the lye solution by dividing it by 6 to get the right amount for each color? I made some yesterday and it flopped on me 😢! Please give me an answer 🙏?
Yes, when I want straightl lines, i'll split the oils into however many stripes I want. Then make the whole lye solution and split it into the same number, then mix each layer as I go.
Hello Ellen! I love all of your videos! I was wondering if you could tell me something about the OnlineLabels labels. Is there something that is supposed to tell me what part is the "top" of the page? For example with the lip balm labels, I put it in one direction with the cap tabs facing the top of the page as it shows in Maestro but then it printed way off, but when I flipped the page around and printed again, with the tabs facing the bottom of the page, it printed correctly.
Hi Ellen! I know been a hot minute since I said that! Hope all is well. Been busy with new baby goats and ground work for my new business. Hugs sweet lady
The swirls in this batch turned out so beautiful! I think that's why I like your triple batches better than the singles. BTW, how do I join your family? 😂 Ha-ha! But seriously, do you have a charity that we could donate to and receive a "thank for your very generous donation" bar? Asking for a friend...😉😉😊
Good morning from Mississippi. I'm so loving learning from your videos. Newbie question... l'm About to try a whipped cream using the oils but have them infused with healing herbs ir cakes foole 3 butters. I only have 2 at the moment( have all the right other ideas on the list) It calls for shea butter- cocoa butter and mango butter. So in place of the mango. Will it be work to split calculation of the two butters l have on hand and replace as the mango butter ? Strictly for my own use Thank you
I love watching your videos but could you please do a few actually measuring the lye and mixing it with water I’m new and absolutely terrified of the lye and I trust your videos I’m not sure how to go about measuring it and mixing thank you

You could add the pumice to this one to amp up the scrub factor💚

I'm not tech savvy at all, my husband helps me get the labels lined up when I'm having issues...
Just contact Online Labels.
Where do you get the stamp for soap with the name?? I love all you do
Here is the place I ordered mine from: amzn.to/3Vqez1N

You can change out butters in a whip or lotion recipe.
@@EllenRuthSoap great thank you. Just ordered soap needs so until then i'll be watching your soap videos. ❤
Do you ..let the customer know the benefits of calamine on the label? Looks beautiful
No, I don't put it on the label. I do talk about it in the product description on the website.
I was just wondering how your husband was doing. So glad he's doing well. 💕
Thanks! He's doing so well💕

The soap mold I'm using is from Workshop Heritage, it's the Tall Triple Skinny mold.
@@EllenRuthSoap 감사해요…!!!!!
most patterns look like animal or people faces, that is great.
What insurance did you use for your soap business?
It's called Handmade Artisan Insurance, and I still have it😉
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 KJV
I thought you could make cosmetic claims, you just then have to package it following cosmetic guidelines?
Yes, if you follow the cosmetic guideline laws you could.
