Day 1 - Sew Liberated Stasia dress. This was a kit from Guthrie Ghani
Day 2 - Nina Lee Southbank sweater dress in cable knit fabric from Higgs and higgs.
Later that evening I wore my Paper Theory Pattern Zadie Jumpsuit in fabric from First for Fabrics.
Day 3 - Closest Core Sasha trousers with a Tilly and the Buttons Marni top in fabric from Make @140
I’m the evening PJ set, Closet Core Carolyn PJ bottoms, size 10 and Helen’s Closet Jackson Tee, size 10. Both fabrics from First for Fabrics.
Day 4 - i didn’t manage to record anything but I was wearing my Kwik Sew dungarees in fabric from Make @140 and a True Bias Nikko top in ribbed jersey from Minerva.com
Day 5 - Nothing Me Made today I’m afraid
Day 6 - so I started in my True bias Hudson pants but my husband had on a hand made Shirt and and made jumper
Then my Tilly and the Buttons Lyra dress in beautiful fabric from Andrea at Beyond the Pink door. Worn with a RTW cardigan
Day 7 - Deer and Doe Givre dress in fabric from Higgs and Higgs.

Thank you I so enjoyed your video. It lifted me up and I almost felt I was their. I am living in Ocala, florida. I’m now 84 and making quilts. I used to make my cloths and also my daughters. You have such sweet daughters.

I forgot to mention something about the Amelia jacket. You may want to add some thin shoulder pads to your jackets as this will create a beautiful sleeve head and will fit better.

Hello Angela. I love all the beautiful garments that you have made. You mentioned that you are going to be sewing the Amelia Bomber Jacket by Sew Over It. I will be making two of these, one for my friend and the other for me, the fabric arrived yesterday from Super Cheap Fabrics, it is a beautiful melton wool. I am going to line mine with a lining from Lady McElroy fabrics, it is similar to the cobra corsage (with snakes on it) and has a grey background but this lining co-ordinates well with the colors of the wool. I love your Lyra dress too. Happy sewing and I look forward to seeing you on your next vlog xxxx

Love your me made week videos and so pleased you had such a fun time in Birmingham. You look fab in all your clothes! Blinking menopause I think makes us all feel different and we start doubting ourselves. I have found that I become anxious about things that never used to worry me. X

It was fun to see more from your trip to Birmingham. Looked like you all had a really great time, and I love your purchases. That jacket is going to look stunning! Your Marnie looked so lovely, and that Givre dress is just gorgeous on you. (I get why you were disappointed to miss out on the snow, actually, even though we are desperate to get rid of ours. I still have over 1 meter of it in my garden.. :))

Oh my goodness - I’m so delighted that you got to spend time with Helen, Adele, and the Northern Sewl Sisters (I think I’m forgetting one!). I just loved watching you be on the train with Helen. Reminds me of my train trips…. Guthrie & Ghani is a dream shop with extra special fabrics. I LOVE the lining you picked out for the coat like Rachel’s.

Wise words, don’t judge a pattern by the pattern cover. You have inspired me to try that dress pattern. What a good tip to adjust the seam allowance on the shoulders. With your fabric choice it could easily be an Raster dress. So so pretty.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flatter. My mother said this to me once when another girl got the same winter coat. I was so shocked and didn't want to wear it anymore, but it was 7th grade quite a silly girl. Anyway, I needless to say wore the coat and loved it. Enjoyed your week. I was surprised how small Guthrie and Ghani looked.

I couldn't get the like button to register so I hit the dislike to see if that worked and I got a screen saying they would share my concerns with you!!! I really liked your marnie blouse it looked lovely on you. I hope you don’t mind me asking what size did you make I really liked the fit and my measurements are similar to yours. Did you make any adjustments?
Hia Clare. Thank you so much. So I should have been a size 4 , but I made the size 3 because of how big it seemed to be. It’s very comfortable and not too tight at all. I didn’t make any adjustments. Hope that help, good luck with yours 😊 xx

Your video was so much fun. I’d like to make the Estelle dress but dithering about the size as don’t want it too close fitting. Would you mind saying the size you chose? Also do you wear your Arum dress much as still have that pattern to make? 😊
Thank you 🥰 I made the size 12 in the Estelle, my measurements are B36 W31 H39. This feels like a close-fitting dress, but the fabric I used doesn't have much stretch. If I used a viscose jersey it would have felt looser! To be honest, I've gone off the Arum dress as I have gained weight and it no longer fits me as well - but I did love it before that! 😊

I am an accountant/bookkeeper, and I also work in a school 😊
As we age we should slightly lighten our hair.
